One Man electric mini German Submarine WWII 1944 carried 2 G7e Torpedoes en.wikipedia.org The Molch (German language: "newt" or "salamander") was an unsuccessful, one-man series of German midget submarines created during World War II. Built in 1944, it was the first mini-submarine of the Kriegsmarine, but was not successful in combat operations and suffered heavy losses. The Molch was based on torpedo technology, and carried two G7e torpedoes attached externally on either side of the craft. It was fully electrical and was created for coastal operations, www.uboat.net 11 ton one-man boats were all electric and designed for coastal operations. Looking like a large torpedo they had the small range of 40 miles at 5 knots and carried 2 underslung torpedoes. These boats were designed to travel submerged only. The first of 393 such boats was delivered on June 12, 1944. All the boats were built by AG Weser in Bremen. Midget Submarines. Neger, Biber, Class-X and Kō-hyōteki (First Part) English
Neger minisub The Neger (black) is a mini-submarine with 7 m in length and 53 cm wide. He wore an external torpedo 1 x 533 mm (G7e) and was equipped with a battery of 12 hp, urging him at a speed of 4 to 6 knots. Had a range of 18 to 20 miles, depending on sea conditions where it operated. The Neger German was the first attempt to build the mini-sub serial Kleinkampfmittel was called. It was a simple solution that adopted the German sailors, without having to go through the steps of designing and drawing plans for the project, ie a simple solution was chosen, consisting of two torpedoes G7e mounted one above the other, the torpedo upper warhead was withdrawn and instead installed a plexiglass transparent dome and cabin crew member's only fit in it. Molchan minisub The Molchan (German salamander) is a mini-submarine with a length of 10.73 m, 1.16 m wide and a depth of immersion of 40 m. He had two external torpedoes 1 x 533 mm (G7e). He was gifted with a battery of 13 hp, urging him at a speed of 4.3 knots on the surface and at 5 knots submerged, with a range of 50 miles at 3.3 knots on the surface and 50 miles at 5 knots submerged. The Molchan was the first mini-submarine of the Kiegsmarine. Based on the technology of torpedo torpedo is built like a big car and can carry two torpedoes G7e. The first of the 363 Molchan was delivered June 12, 1944 and it soon became clear that his system was extremely complicated dive during combat difficult to control. A flotilla of 60 ...

Wer bist Du ? Torpedofahrer

seehund U5377?
Possible U5377midget submarine sunk march 11th 1945 near the Goodwin sands his is what is normally considered the most successful of the miniature German submarines. The type, designed in 1944, is known as XXVII B 5, also known as Type 127, and at least 138 (U-5001 - U-5118 and U-5251 - 5269) were commissioned into the Kriegsmarine. From 1944 it was planned to build over 1000 such mini subs. These boats had a displacement of 17 tons submerged, a crew of 2 and carried two underslung torpedoes of type G7e. The Seehund had the range of 300 km at 7 knots and could attack on the surface in weather up to 4 on the Beufort scale but had to be almost stationary for submerged attacks. About 50 Seehund boats had an additional fuel storage that gave them a range of 300 miles at 7 knots surfaced and 63 miles at 3 knots submerged. These saw limited action at Dungenees.
