Turtle tank new edition hornwort plants ,and baby bass for dinner .i caught from the wild. the tank looks dirty because i dumped pond water,fish ,plants and all into the tank.thus 3 mins before shooting this video. minnow nets and traps are the stuff i could do this every wk end and turtles could eat for the cost of gas to the local stream . i find ways around the cost of petshops if possible .the hornwort floats freely til its roots grab ahold of something if it sprouts roots . becareful with hornwort it can clog filters or fall into many pieces and turn into many plants from one. im glad some of u like the clear tote for a enclosure. it works wonders for those on a budget organic fertilizer i put in my tank is called epsoma plant tone 100% organic 1 tsp to 40 gallons of water . i pour it into warm water stir it vigorously and dump into tank . it makes tank dirty for 1-3hrs but after everything settles to the bottom its all good tank clears up and plants are happy i got 200gph bucket filter 90gal tank filter and a 30 gal filter .i try to simulate the wild the best i can for these guys .
