Il Divo Live at The Greek Theatre Full Concert
Bridging the gap between pop and opera, Il Divo transforms modern hits with their classical singing style. Filmed at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, LIVE AT THE GREEK includes the quartet's Spanish version of Toni Braxton's pop hit "Unbreak My Heart (Regresa A Mi)" and the Frank Sinatra classic "My Way."

euronews reporter - The Greek debt that became Cyprus' Trojan Horse
www.euronews.com Some news from Cyprus, which sounds uncannily like news from Greece: the country does not have access to the international capital markets and economic reforms are going at a snail's pace. Cypriot banks are drowning in greek junk bonds. That's why they need a muti-billion euro lifeline now too... More new faces are showing up at the soup kitchen in the southern Cypriot city of Limassol, entire families asking the orthodox church for a free meal. The church is warning that some radical new changes are afoot. Cyprus needs a bailout. The communist ruled EU-member is cash-strapped. Unemployment is on the rise and the economic outlook is gloomy. Fifty-seven year old Costas is looking for a job. Nothing special: just something, anything. But instead of blaming the lack of competitiveness of the Cypriot economy, banks for their investment choices, or even the politicians for not having reformed the island's economy in time, he blames the EU's free labour market. Costas Panayi, unemployed, Limassol "In Cyprus there is a big problem now. Iit is getting worse, because more people come here to eat. They do not have food...300 people and families... and there are no jobs in Cyprus, because of the Europeans that came from Romania, Bulgaria, all over the place - and they take the jobs of the Cypriots." But the problem also lies elsewhere: Cyprus suffers from it's close links to crisis-shaken Greece. Just nearby the church's soup kitchen, Cypriots and tourists mingle ...

Witness - Witness - Greece: Protesting the protesters
This unusual take on the Greek protests centres on a small group of 'anti-activists' who think the austerity measures undertaken by the government are in fact a good thing for the crisis-ridden Greek economy. We follow Fotis and his friends in their Liberal Party as they mount their own campaign, while around them the masses gather on the streets for the huge protests that regularly rock the capital.

The Cafe - Greece: The end of the European dream?
The ancient Greeks invented the word chaos to describe complete disorder and confusion. They did not think they would be living with it for so long. Greece is the economic basket-case of Europe, gone from junk status to even "junkier". The country's debt is 145 per cent of GDP and it is the ordinary people who are paying the price. One-third of Greeks live below the poverty line. Anger has turned into violence and despair, and suicides have increased by 40 per cent since the crisis began. Plummeting salaries and pensions, never-ending tax hikes and ever-deeper spending cuts have pushed the country to the brink of economic and social collapse. Queues at soup kitchens are lengthening, the number of homeless people is mounting, and critical medical supplies are in short supply. The Greeks also invented democracy, but inconclusive election results with no outright majority could simply prolong the crisis. Some say the Greeks have brought it all on themselves, and call for harsher measures. But can the latest government cut further and deeper? Can Greece survive the euro? Can the euro survive Greece? Or is this the end of the European dream? The Cafe travels to Athens to find out what the future holds for the birthplace of Western democracy.

Divine Truth - Ancient Greece
Ian Grimble explores the Ancient Greek's search for Divine Truth, through their idolation of various Gods and, more surprisingly, their acceptance of the beliefs of other people. But what did these people believe about life? And what did they expect from death?

LINDOS Rhodes, Greece
Its unique location is not the sole reason that the picturesque town of Lindos has become known as one of the most fascinating locations on the Greek island of Rhodes. Its narrow, intimate lanes are flanked by centuries-old houses, the former residences of captains, ship-owners and wealthy traders. During the Ottoman period, Lindos was one of the country's most important ports and it still has a strong association with the sea, as do the cultural treasures of this enchanting town. Lindos' famous landmark, the Acropolis, is located above the town. The Acropolis was important not only for those of ancient Greek religious belief but also for those of the Christian faith. According to legend, the apostle Paul came ashore beneath the temple in 51 AD Its shoreline location, as well as the beauty of the town plus its combination of medieval buildings and ancient ruins all add up to why Lindos is such a popular destination. Lindos was once a great maritime power that possessed its own colonies in the Mediterranean and the enchanting atmosphere of this special place can still be experienced today.

The 12 most beautiful and most visited islands in one movie... Corfu, Crete, Rodos, Kos, Patmos, Santorini, Iod, Mykonos, Delos, Naxos, Paros and Tinos

CORINTH Korinthos, Greece
Between the Greek mainland and Peloponnesus peninsula are the extensive ruins of ancient Corinth. Of the city's former magnificence, only a few Doric columns of the 6th century Temple of Apollo have survived. Due to its favorable location and fertile soil, 3000 years ago during the Neolithic period, the first settlements were established in this region. 146 BC marked the end of Classical Corinth. The Romans devastated and plundered the ancient metropolis and enslaved its people and for almost a hundred years, the ruins were uninhabited but, due to Caesar, new life returned to the city. Surrounded by the pure, wild beauty of nature, the ruins blend harmoniously into the magnificence of the surrounding landscape. From a medieval fortress, in the distance there are the remains of an ancient Corinthian port and even today, shipping plays an important role in the everyday life of this ancient city.

KNOSSOS Crete, Greece
Around 7 kilometres southeast of Heraklion on the Greek island of Crete, is the Palace of Knossos, the largest of all the Minoan palaces, located on the picturesque, partly tree-covered Kephala Hill. As parts of the palace have been rebuilt, its former splendor makes a visit to Knossos even more worthwhile. At the beginning of the 20th century, large scale excavations of the former Minoan palace were carried out under the leadership of Englishman, Arthur Evans. In just three years, Evans and his team of archaeologists excavated an area of almost 20000 square metres. Visitors can move around the newly built areas of the palace and imagine the former life of the Minoans. Almost all of the palace's 1200 rooms and splendid inner courtyards are asymmetrical, which is in contrast to the subsequent Ancient Greek epochs of strict symmetrical architecture. As with other Minoan palaces in Phaistos and Malia, around 1700 BC, the first palace in Knossos was destroyed by a devastating earthquake. Around 100 years later, the palace was rebuilt and was simply known as the 'New Palace'. These buildings have also been referred to as the 'Labyrinth of the Minotaurs'. But if the legendary Minotaurs actually resided in the Palace of Knossos, it has yet to be confirmed by the world of archaeology!
