It was first broadcast on the Seven Network on 18 March 1985. It was created by TV executive Reg Watson, who proposed the idea of making a show that focused on realistic stories and portrayed adults and teenagers who talk openly and solve their problems together. Seven decided to commission the show following the success of Watsons Sons and Daughters, which aired on the network. Yes you read correctly...COLLAB! Its been so long since I have done one of these, so much so that I actually almost forgot the process! Anyway! This collab was made by Noor, Vix and Myself! I love these 2 girls to pieces so it was inevitable this was going to happen at some point! These 2 are like my sisters hence why we now go by the name 'The Sisters of Ramsay Street' and i would be completely lost without their help and support, especially over the last 3 years and beyond! This has been a long time in the works, and due to work commitments etc was posponed and put off, but i think the final piece is worth it! And I speak on behave of all 3 of us in saying we hope everyone enjoys it!

For LOADS more video guides: https://www.edinburghvideoguide.com The Edinburgh Video Guide presents the Old Town, the Scottish capital's nucleus. There is evidence of settlement here stretching back to the Bronze Age, but it wasn't until Edinburgh Castle and the The Palace of Holyroodhouse were established that the city began to flourish, in the form of the now famous Royal Mile. There are many famous Edinburgh attractions located the Old Town. A few notables are: Edinburgh Castle, The Camera Obscura, Gladstone's Land, The Scotch Whisky Experience, Ramsay Garden, The Hub, St Giles' Cathedral, Mary King's Close, The Edinburgh Dungeon, The People's Story, the Museum of Edinburgh, Canongate Kirk, The Palace of Holyroodhouse, The Scottish Parliament, Greyfriars Kirk and the statue of Greyfriars Bobby, The Museum of Scotland, The Grassmarket and Cowgate, and the Museum on the Mound.

Get more things to do in Kuala Lumpur, and travel tips: http://migrationology.com/2014/02/kuala-lumpur-travel-guide-food-lovers/ I'm Mark Wiens and thank you very much for watching this video about a few of the top things to do in Kuala Lumpur, a city that just happens to be one of my favorite cities to visit in Southeast Asia. It's the largest and probably the most important and influential city in Malaysia and truly has some amazing sites to offer. Along with modern skyrise towers like the Petronas Towers, there are still lots of traditional historic buildings as well. The awesome mixture of cultures, the mix of traditional and modern, and very importantly, the outstanding cuisine is what makes Kuala Lumpur such a great city to explore! 1. On this list of top things to do in Kuala Lumpur I first stop by the most famous landmark of the the city: the Petronas Towers. These twin giant sky scrapers are huge, and they literally reach towards the heavens and touch the clouds. On the bottom of the Petronas Towers is a pretty fancy shopping mall while the tops of the towers are filled with offices. On the 41st and 42nd floor, there is a sky bridge which connects the two towers together and which is open for visitors. Years ago, it used to be free entrance but unfortunately now they have started to charge a rather steep 80 Malaysian Ringgits per person. 2. After the visiting the Petronas towers, number two on the list is the historical district of old Kuala Lumpur. Visiting and walking around the area is one of the top things to do in Kuala Lumpur and you shouldn't miss the opportunity. From Merdeka Square to the old railroad station, you'll see some amazing architecture and buildings. Another must visit is the National Mosque, which is known as Masjid Negara. With a capacity of 15,000, this is the central and most visited mosque in the city. 3. The Menara KL Tower, along with the Petronas Towers, is one of the dominating features of Kuala Lumpur's skyline. At 421 meters in height, it's one of the world's tallest communications towers. I was lucky enough to be invited to the annual BASE jumping event which was held at the KL Tower so I had a pass to go to the top for the incredible view and to see the event (http://migrationology.com/2012/10/jordan-kilgore-base-jump-kuala-lumpur/). The KL Tower also offer look out viewpoints and a number of restaurants where you can dine with an incredible view. 4. Number 4 is Little India which is better known as Brickfields. Kuala Lumpur is home to many Indian's many from the south of the country. Brickfields is a popular place to browse, shop for all sorts of Indian products and most importantly to eat at some seriously delicious Indian restaurants. If you're looking for good Indian food in Kuala Lumpur, check out this restaurant: http://migrationology.com/2012/11/south-indian-food-kuala-lumpur-vishalatchi/ 5. Chinatown, located on Petaling Street, is one of the biggest Kuala Lumpur attractions. It's mostly known for it street shopping and restaurants. You can find all sorts of fake brand names and nearly everything imaginable. 6. Thean Hou Temple is one of the most impressive Daoist temples in Kuala Lumpur. It's free to visit and offers insights into the Hainanese community in the city and there are also great views of the city. 7. Central Market, is a top tourist shopping attraction in Kuala Lumpur. Though many of the products are rather touristy, there are some good things waiting to be found. 8. Within central Kuala Lumpur are the KL Lake Gardens and Bird Park. It makes a great tropical escape to the bustling city life. 9. The Batu Caves, located just outside the central part of the city is one of the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur. The caves and shrines are one of the most sacred Hindu sites outside of India. 10. Chow Kit Market is the central fresh wet market in the city. Everyday thousands of shoppers get their Malaysian food ingredients at this interesting market. 11. Malaysian food is the ultimate attraction to visiting Kuala Lumpur. With a great mixture of local Malay, Chinese, and Indian, there's no shortage of incredible dining that will leave you satisfied and hungry for more! For myself, eating is one of the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur! Hope you enjoyed this list and hope you have a wonderful visit! Music in this video is Feel Free by Joe Sacco. For many more things to do in Delhi, where to stay, and delicious food to eat, check out my Delhi Travel Guide: http://migrationology.com/delhi-travel-guide-ebook/ (click the link)! Delhi, India, (नई दिल्ली) is the national capital of the country and has a metropolitan population of around 22 million residents. The city is ancient, it's been around since the 6th century BC so there are many historical and cultural places to visit. That's specifically why I created this list of 21 things to do in Delhi, to help you plan and get excited about visiting Delhi, India. 1. The Lotus Temple (Bahá'í House of Worship) - The temple is in the shape of a giant lotus and on the inside is a peaceful sanctuary where you can enter and sit in silence for as long as you like. 2. ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple - I had never seen a temple like this before, so it as an interesting experience to hear the music and walk around the interior of the temple. 3. Kalkaji Mandir Hindu Temple - This temple is a very important Hindu temple in Delhi and while I was there, there were a number of babies being dedicated by being decorated and blessed. 4. Jama Masjid - Located in Old Delhi, Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in all of Delhi. Though they will attempt to get money from you, it's free to enter the mosque, but if you want to take photos inside they will charge you 300 rupees. 5. Akshardham Temple - This modern Hindu temple located on the outskirts of Delhi literally made my jaw drop, it's that amazing. It's free to enter, but unfortunately, they don't allow any photography inside. This is one of the things to do in Delhi that you cannot afford to miss! 6. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple) - Unlike some other sites in Delhi where you'll find many touts and hustlers, the Gurdwara Sikh Temple is about the nicest and most friendly place you can go in Delhi. People are extremely nice and you can enter the temple to listen to music. 7. Laxmi Narayan Mandir -- Dedicated by Mahatma Gandhi, this is one of the most significant Hindu temples in Delhi. 8. Hauz Khas Complex - I'm always amazed at the history of Delhi and Hauz Khas is an excellent example of ancient monuments in the middle of a public park. 9. Lodi Gardens - As a free entrance public park, visiting the Lodi Gardens is one of the most amazing things to do in Delhi. It's just like an ordinary park, but it's filled with thousand year old tombs and monuments that are truly inspirational. 10. India Gate - The war memorial is one of the landmarks of Delhi and resembles the famous Arc de Triomphe in Paris. 11. Jantar Mantar - The Jantar Mantar complex is a compound that houses 13 different astronomy instruments. The structures are confusing to look at, but if you read or follow a guide (or audio guide) you'll understand how each instrument functioned. 12. Qutub Minar - Just like Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar is one of the top things to do in Delhi, it's truly remarkable. The minaret is the main attraction, a huge pillar of red carved sandstone that towers above the ancient ruins in the complex. 13. Humayun's Tomb - One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Delhi is Humayun's Tomb, built in Mughal Islamic architecture. 14. Tomb of Safdarjung - Very similar to Humayun's tomb is the tomb of Safdarjung. What I really liked is that there were no other tourists the day I went so it was quite and peaceful. 15. Red Fort - Located near Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi is the Red Fort. It's an entire walled in city where you can walk around the browse the many buildings within the walls. 16. Raj Ghat - The Raj Ghat is a memorial park dedicated to Gandhi. 17. Chandni Chowk & Chawri Bazar - The liveliest and busiest area of Delhi is Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazar. I think it's possible to purchase anything from the entire world in this area, and you'll also find lots of delicious food. 18. Dilli Haat - This handicraft village was set up by the Delhi tourism authority and it's a decent place to purchase souvenirs or high quality crafts. You'll also find a food court that contains canteens serving food from all over India. 19. Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk) - Known for short as just CP is a huge series of roundabouts and is the central modern business district of Delhi. Within the area you'll find all sorts of shops, famous restaurants and the Palika Bazar, an underground shopping center. 20. Paharganj (Main Bazar) - The main bazar is located just west of the New Delhi railroad station and it's an old area of town where you'll find a market and lots of budget accommodation options. 21. Delhi Street Food - Eating street food is one of the best things to do in Delhi, you'll love it. Thank you for watching this Delhi travel guide video and hope you have a great trip to Delhi, India! The Daily Telegraph 2015-03-20Ramsay Street is the fictional cul-de-sac in which the characters of the Australian soap opera Neighbours live. The street is set in the equally fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough. Neighbours storylines primarily centre around the residents of the Street, which was named after the grandfather of original character Max Ramsay (Francis Bell). A storyline within the show saw the name of the street nearly changed to Ramsbottom Street. Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) led a protest against it and won.
Pin Oak Court, in Vermont South, is the real cul-de-sac that doubles for Ramsay Street. All of the houses featured in the show are real and the residents allow Neighbours to shoot external scenes in their front and back gardens.Neighbours has been filmed in Pin Oak Court since the series began in 1985 and it has since become popular with tourists. Tours to the cul-de-sac run throughout the year. The interior scenes are filmed at the Global Television studios in Forest Hill, the adjoining suburb in which Pin Oak Court is located.
