Today, one year later, Zhou Yongkang has been arrested. Last February 6, Pu Zhiqiang published an article using his real name on the three largest microblog sites -- Sina, Tengxun and Sohu -- He accused Zhou Yongkang for bringing disaster to China! Pu Zhiqiang said: "If we want to step out from the shadow, for the maintenance of stability, we must bring him to justice for his social security comprehensive management model. Many human tragedies were caused by Zhou Yongkang directly or indirectly. Zhou Yonkang's ten years of rule even poisoned the world. He is the real enemy of the people!" This article was supported and spread by many netizens,but it was quickly removed. One year later, it is reported that Zhou Yongkang is currently detained in Tianjin and is being watched by the 38 Army, Hu Jintao's trusted force. It is also said that Zhou Yongkang is detained in a military base in Inner Mongolia, and is in an unstable mental state. Pu Zhiqiang believes that in the past year, the CCP authorities carried out anti-corruption campaigns against the "Sichuan Faction," "Petroleum Gang" and the "Political and Legal system." It is seen by the outside world as reprisals against Zhou Yongkang, indeed, Zhou Yongkang has been removed. But it is not what Pu Zhiqiang was looking forward to. Pu Zhiqiang emphasized that the CCP authorities' trial of former Chongqing party Secretary Bo Xilai and their investigation of Zhou Yongkang are both economy, driven and have nothing to do with the rule of law or justice. Pu Zhiqiang: "To arrest Zhou Yongkang in the name of corruption or to charge Bo Xilai for using his own way of torturing people do not mean progress for China's rule of law. We cannot simply say that China is better with the arrest of Zhou Yongkang. We need to see how his arrest and trial will be conducted. Will he be brought to trial for corruption for his politics?" It is understood that the Politics and Law Committee under the leadership of Zhou Yongkang was immune from prosecution, immune from the legal system and was even above the law. Huge funds and resources were used to attack petitioners, Falun Gong practitioners and dissidents. During Zhou Yongkang's tenure, the CCP's Political and Legal Committee stability maintenance expenses jumped sharply, even surpassing the than national defense budget. Beijing political observer Hua Po thinks the CCP authorities will for sure sue Zhou Yongkang on grounds of corruption. Hua Po: "Zhou Yongkang's crimes are not only corruption. His crimes are crimes against humanity.But it is not possible for the CCP to reveal all of his crimes. If all of his crimes are made public it would be a dilemma for the CCP. Therefore the CCP arrested Zhou Yongkang in the name of corruption, just like what it did for the Bo Xilai case." According to insiders close to high-level officials in Beijing, the core issue of the CCP's internal struggle is how to handle the anti-humanity crimes against Falun Gong committed by former CCP leader Jiang Zemin and Zhou Yongkang. Because the situation is serious, most of the CCP senior officials do not want to take the responsibilities for the "Jiang Zemin faction." On February 4 2014, the CCP Central Commission for Discipline sent a warning of "Double Checking" on major corruption cases, including members responsible as well their leaders.
