Ultra marathon training: North Downs Run 14 June 2009
This is a short film of my progress in the North Downs Run held on 14 June 2009. The course is an undulating(or hilly) 30km mainly off road in very scenic surroundings. It's part of my preparation for the 50 Mile Challenge to be held on 19 July for the Geoff Thomas Foundation.

London-Surrey Cycle Classic - London 2012 Olympics Practice Race - North Downs, Surrey
London-Surrey Cycle Classic - coming up Staple Lane, over the North Downs from East Clandon, down the sharp right hand corner into the A25. Starts off with a comedy moment from a Police Motorcyclist - Camera angle doesn't capture the steep down hill section I'm afraid, until right at the end. By the way.. how we got to be in this location.. we parked at Newmans Corner, and cycled east along the North Downs Way. Next year, it'll be a lot busier, and the spot at the bottom of the hill - very steep / hairpin at the bottom - will be a prime location. It was CLOSED today as too many people had already made it there!!
