Melt Fat Away with Afterburner Effect!
www.scoobysworkshop.com Losing weight is easy when you put your metabolism into overdrive with the afterburner effect. Its EASY to do! Yes I know the title is cheesy but I had to convince people of the importance of daily cardio and also convince them not to waste money buying stupid eBooks that promise how to use the "Afterburner Effect". Its so easy, why would you waste $100 to have someone tell you need to do cardio??? Virtually all of the calorie calculators out there that will tell you your daily caloric requirement are based on the equations designed by Harris and Benedict whose research I refer to in this video. There is a good reason for this, its because the equations have been found to be accurate for millions of people! "Afterburner Effect" is not a theory, it is practical knowledge. Given the amount of cardio someone does, you can predict their daily caloric needs with a fair degree of accuracy.

How To Weigh Yourself Accurately - part 1 of 2
scoobysworkshop.com At first glance you are probably wondering why I am wasting time on something that seems so easy. Bodybuilders weigh themselves all the time, why waste time talking about how to do it? Because it is WAY more difficult than you might imagine to get an accurate weight! Serious bodybuilders need to accurately know their rate of muscle gain to be able to optimize workout strategies. Say you are a teenage newbie and your predicted muscle gain is 30lbs/yr -- thats 2.5 pounds a month. Think you can weigh that 2.5 pounds accurately to see if you are on track or not? Guess again! Its way, way more difficult than you imagine. Before we discuss how to accurately weigh yourself, lets look at the three reasons why it's so difficult: - Daily fluxuations in weight due to hydration - The inaccuracy of digital scales - Temperature sensitivity of digital scales

Target inner pecs for massive chest - exercises
scoobysworkshop.com A lot of people want exercises to target their inner pecs so they can hold pens and pencils between their massive pecs. Here are my top three exercises to target the inner pecs: . . . Thats right, there ARE none! Let me explain. Last week we talked about exercises that target upper and lower pecs. Muscles are attached to a different bone on each end so they can pull and cause motion. The pecs attach on the upper arm and then either to the collarbone (upper pecs) as shown below, or the sternum (lower pecs). Incline type exercises work the upper pec, the part attached to the collarbone as shown above. Because the exercises listed below work upper pecs, the part attached to the collarbone, they do absolutely nothing for inner pecs: incline dumbbell press incline barbell press incline fly military press (if using backrest) dumbbell shoulder press (if using backrest) low cables pushups with feet raised Now lets look at the lower pec, or the part attached to the sternum as shown below: At least now we have a chance of working the inner pec because the lower pec attaches to the sternum where the inner pec can be found. As mentioned last week in upper and lower pecs, the motions that works this lower pec are the neutral angle like in a bench press or the decline plane like in a decline press. The following exercises will make the lower pec, the part attached to the sternum, bigger: mid-pec flat dumbbell fly flat dumbbell press flat bench press mid height ...

Healthy Fast Food Meal
scoobysworkshop.com You know fast food is bad for you but when you are driving home starved after a long workday, Taco Bell is tempting. Here is a fast, healthy, and inexpensive alternative. Head on home and make this "SaMush" (Salmon Mush) which tastes WAY better than it sounds! It tastes so good that you will think its fast food but its healthy and will help you gain muscle and lose body fat. Its high in vitamins, fiber, omega-III fatty acids, protein, and a bit of complex carbs -- a perfect meal in a frying pan. The beauty of Sa-Mush is that all of the ingredients for it last weeks or months in the refrigerator so you can make it at any time even if you have not had time for that weekend grocery store trip.

Dumbbell Press For Shoulders
www.scoobysworkshop.com As with all shoulder exercises, form is key if you want to escape injury. The shoulder muscles are small and the joint complex so its easy to do damage if you jerk, bounce, or use too much range of motion. This video shows two variations of the shoulder press alternating and simultaneous. As withany dumbbell exercise, form is key if you want to maximize your muscle building efforts and minimize the chance of injury. Don't use too much weight, if you can't do the exercise slowly then you need to go lighter. Count aloud "one onethousand, two onethousand, three onethousand" on the way up and the way down, if you cant do this on this exercise then you are using too much weight. The reason this exercise method maximizes your muscle growth is because it confines the motion to the muscle you are trying to work out, if your body squirms, swings, and kicks, all you are doing is taking the focus away from the muscle you are trying to exercise. Anyone can be healthier, have more energy, sleep better, and feel better about themselves through bodybuilding. Bodybuilding doesn't have to be expensive or take a lot of time, gyms are great but home workouts can save you time and money. A cheap dumbbell set from a garage sale or walmart is all it takes to get started with your home workouts. For more information on home workouts, please see my free website at the URL above. Coffee as a Supplement - Bodybuilding, Caffeine, strength, and performance
http://scoobysworkshop.com/caffeine-as-a-bodybuilding-supplement/
In this video were gonna talk about my number one favorite supplement, caffeine! Caffeine is a cheap and effective supplement for bodybuilders and endurance athletes alike. In this video we will talk about what kind of caffeine to take, how much to take, when to take it, caffeine tolerance, and also about what the research says.
Caffeine comes in different forms and surprisingly, coffee is not the best way! Several studies have shown that the anhydrous caffeine in the pill form is more effective in improving perfomance than the caffeine in coffee. If you want to maximize your performance, you should use the pill form. Two added benefits of using caffeine pills, first its far cheaper. For the price of one fancy starbucks coffee you can buy a bottle with 100 doses of caffeine in it. The second benefit of using the caffeine in pill form is that you know your exact dosage. Speaking of dosage, lets talk about how much to use.
Oddly enough, more is not better. Several studies have shown that there is no increase in strength or endurance if you consume more than the recommend amount of caffiene. This makes caffeine unlike many other supplements.
So, how much should you take? The research shows there is no benefit to taking more than 6mg/KG before your sports activity, I would recommend half that or 3mg/kg - so for a 150lb person thats 200mg. Take your caffeine about an hour before your lifting session and take it at most once per day. If you dont want the caffeine to interfere with your sleep you would best be advised to have your workout in the morning to allow the caffeine to be eliminated from your system by bedtime.
Dont take caffeine if you have any history of heart irregularies.
Caffeine tolerance is a very important issue here. You quickly build up a tolerance to caffeine which diminishes its value for sports performance. If you want to use caffeine as a supplement you really need to stop its use as a beverage. The only caffeine you consume in a day should be that taken the hour before your weight workout. On days you dont lift weights, no caffeine. If you have a race or contest, you should stop all caffeine use the week before the event so you can benefit its full effect on the big day.
So there you have it, caffeine is the #1 best supplement for bodybuilding in my book but you gotta use it properly. For those of you interested keep watching and we will talk about the research.
