Stickleback Evolution
Paul Andersen describes microevolution and macroevolution in the stickleback fish of Loberg Lake. He describes how anadramous fish repopulated the lake after poisoning and adapted to the new environment through natural selection. He also explains how reproductive isolation has appeared in fish that have diverged only a few decades in the past. Read more about the stickleback here: life.bio.sunysb.edu

AP Biology Lab 3: Mitosis and Meiosis
Paul Andersen compares and contrasts mitosis and meiosis. He shows how you can count cells in various phases of mitosis to construct a cell cycle pie chart. He also explains how you can use the fungus Sordaria to calculate map units using the frequency of cross over.
