Virgin for sale: Website auctions off virginity of college student for $780,000 (Video)

A 20 year-old Brazilian student has sold her virginity for the sum of $780,000 through an online auction on a website simply called Virgins Wanted. Apparently there's no end to what people will sell online today. The online auction saw the closing winning bid go to a Japanese man known only as Natsu, who will consummate this agreement within the next few weeks, according to Destiny.com on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

Catarina Migliorini, a physical exercise student answered an ad for the website Virgins Wanted, a project of Australian filmmaker Justin Sisely. Apparently Sisely was interested in making a documentary on the sale of virginity online. Migliorini signed up for this project two years ago.

Proof that Migliorini is a virgin is provided to the winning bidder from a doctor as well as a clean bill of health stating she is free of any transmittable sexual diseases. The contract for winning this virgin also calls for use of a condom.

This auction wasn't just offering up a female virgin, a male virgin was also auctioned off and a Brazilian woman placed the winning bid for Alex Stepanov. His virginity only went for $3,000. The documentary will follow the female and male virgin through this journey and is expected to wrap-up in mid-November.

Check out the bid history of this virgin auction, with many bids coming from the U.S., here on Virgin Wanted.

While many people feel this is an outrageous thing to do, other's say it's not much different than prostitution. Catarina Migliorini is set for life with this windfall and as far as Alex goes, he has a few extra bucks in his pocket.

Migliorini does plan to make a contribution to charity with the majority of the money going to help out her family back in Brazil. Her family, while extremely surprised that she would do this, is very happy for her reports Destiny.com.
