Rainbow was formed by Ritchie Blackmore in 1975 after he left Deep Purple at the height of their fame. They were instantly successful and released a string of hit albums, with an ever changing line-up, between 1975 and 1983 when Blackmore broke up the group to join the reformed Deep Purple. This concert from their European tour in 1977 features the line-up responsible for the "Long Live Rock'n'Roll" album released later that year, including vocalist Ronnie James Dio and drummer Cozy Powell. Blackmore had to be smuggled out of Austria after a trouble with the police at a gig two nights earlier and was very late arriving in Munich, all of which seemed to inspire both the band and the audience to create a truly remarkable gig. Set on the continent of Magvel, the story is rooted in the legend of the 5 Sacred Stones, mysterious objects imbued with magical energy designed to imprison a Demon King of ages past. These stones were entrusted to 5 nations, whose sole purpose was to protect the stones from those with nefarious intent. One nation, however, has dared to break the peace (Grado), and has now attacked its most trusted ally (Renais), a clear indication that something is amiss.
Our story begins with the Princess of Renais, Eirika, escaping Castle Renais with her trusted vassal Seth, fleeing for their northern neighbor of Frelia. This is Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones!

This video shows us spotting/engaging a group on the NE airfield that consists of at least 4 players. There were 4 of us as well. The involved players on our side are: S6! Hooligan, S6! Raidboss, S6! Acebane and Shawnzeeny aka Fred Fredrick in game. We end up getting them all to DC (3) and killed one but at the cost of me and Shawnzeeny dying. 2 Deaths on our side for technically 3 deaths on their side - good trade. In this video me and S6! Nightmare perform an ambush on a group of 4 players. S6! Hooligan and Sarge spot these players ahead of time which gives us time to get out of danger's way and position ourselves to ambush(We were in the open, exposed, when Sarge spotted them). I started frapsing when we ran from the barracks to the tree nearby.

Steve and I just completed another underground expedition with Norwegian explorer Erling Kagge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erling_Kagge). It was featured in a three page article on the front page of the NY Times metro section and was written by Alan Feuer (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/nyregion/02underground.html). We were also covered by NPR's Jacki Lyden whose report will be aired on 1/2/11 and posted on NPR's site (http://www.npr.org/2011/01/02/132482428/into-the-tunnels-exploring-the-underside-of-nyc).
Shot on a canon 5d mkii with canon 24 f/1.4 (version 1) with the zacuto rapid fire, Zoom H4N and a sennheiser g2 wireless lav. The zacuto was really great at being there when I needed it but also staying out of the way.

This is a short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5, François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy + Ludovic Houplain. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2009. It opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and won a 2010 academy award under the category of animated short.
In this film there are two pieces of licensed music, in the beginning and in the end. All the other music and sound design are original. This is a film I made after some adventures underground with Steve Duncan (http://www.undercity.org) last summer. We also have a teaser video which you can watch on my vimeo page (http://vimeo.com/5752275).

Steve and I just completed another underground expedition with Norwegian explorer Erling Kagge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erling_Kagge). It was featured in a three page article on the front page of the NY Times metro section and was written by Alan Feuer (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/nyregion/02underground.html). We were also covered by NPR's Jacki Lyden whose report will be aired on 1/2/11 and posted on NPR's site (http://www.npr.org/2011/01/02/132482428/into-the-tunnels-exploring-the-underside-of-nyc).
Shot on a canon 5d mkii with canon 24 f/1.4 (version 1) with the zacuto rapid fire, Zoom H4N and a sennheiser g2 wireless lav. The zacuto was really great at being there when I needed it but also staying out of the way.

This is a short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5, François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy + Ludovic Houplain. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2009. It opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and won a 2010 academy award under the category of animated short.
In this film there are two pieces of licensed music, in the beginning and in the end. All the other music and sound design are original. The opening track (Dean Martin "Good Morning Life") and closing track (The Ink Spots "I don't want to send the world on fire") songs are licensed pre-existing tracks. Welcome to Crystal Star Studio's 7th project, Let's Play Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones! This playthrough will be done by PowerToMario, ShadowMarioXLI, and ThePastaKing!
Set on the continent of Magvel, the story is rooted in the legend of the 5 Sacred Stones, mysterious objects imbued with magical energy designed to imprison a Demon King of ages past. These stones were entrusted to 5 nations, whose sole purpose was to protect the stones from those with nefarious intent. One nation, however, has dared to break the peace (Grado), and has now attacked its most trusted ally (Renais), a clear indication that something is amiss.
Our story begins with the Princess of Renais, Eirika, escaping Castle Renais with her trusted vassal Seth, fleeing for their northern neighbor of Frelia. This is Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones!

Steve and I just completed another underground expedition with Norwegian explorer Erling Kagge (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erling_Kagge). It was featured in a three page article on the front page of the NY Times metro section and was written by Alan Feuer (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/nyregion/02underground.html). We were also covered by NPR's Jacki Lyden whose report will be aired on 1/2/11 and posted on NPR's site (http://www.npr.org/2011/01/02/132482428/into-the-tunnels-exploring-the-underside-of-nyc).
Shot on a canon 5d mkii with canon 24 f/1.4 (version 1) with the zacuto rapid fire, Zoom H4N and a sennheiser g2 wireless lav. The zacuto was really great at being there when I needed it but also staying out of the way.

This is a short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5, François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy + Ludovic Houplain. It was presented at the Cannes Film Festival 2009. It opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and won a 2010 academy award under the category of animated short.
In this film there are two pieces of licensed music, in the beginning and in the end. All the other music and sound design are original. The opening track (Dean Martin "Good Morning Life") and closing track (The Ink Spots "I don't want to send the world on fire") songs are licensed pre-existing tracks.
