Diabolo Performance at Hua-Xia Chinese School (v2)
My friends and I had a Diabolo (aka Chinese Yo-Yo) performance at Hua-Xia Chinese School on January 18, 2009. However, we come from Murray Hill Chinese School. In our performance, we do some synchronized tricks, solos from each of us, and then some two Diabolo tricks. I hope you enjoy the video! NOTE: It is recommended that you listen to the background music while watching the video so you can get the best viewing experience.

Shanghai Metro Line2 Tangzhen to East Huaxia Road
The first section of Line 2 was opened in October 28, 1999, from Zhongshan Park Station to Longyang Road Station. This section, which included 12 stations, totaled 16.3 kilometres (10.1 mi). A year later, Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Station was added to the eastern part of the line, adding an additional 2.8 kilometres (1.7 mi). Four new stations, located west of the Zhongshan Park station, opened in December 2006, extending the line to Songhong Road Station. This section added an additional 6.15 kilometres (3.82 mi) to the line. Four years later, in preparation for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the line was significantly expanded. In February, the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park station was rebuilt. In addition, another eastern segment took Line 2 to Guanglan Road Station. A month later, the line was extended westward to East Xujing, adding 8.0 kilometres (5.0 mi) to the line including stops at the Hongqiao International Airport and the Hongqiao Railway Station. In April, an eastward extension added 8 stations to the line, totaling 26.6 kilometres (16.5 mi) and taking Line 2 to Pudong International Airport. In October 2006, it was decided to rename three stations on Line 2 by the end of the year, adopting a new naming scheme: metro stations, unlike bus stops, are no longer supposed to be named after neighbouring vertical streets, but famous streets and sights in the vicinity, making it easier for visitors to find these places. The renamed stations are Century Avenue (formerly ...

China(Han Chinese costume----Hanfu)
Hanfu also called Huafu or Huaxia costume.Ancient China was also called Huaxia.Ancient China had a good Etiquette so called Xia,Ancient China had beautiful costume so called Hua.Japanese Kimono and Korean Hanbok were developed from Chinese Hanfu in Han Dynasty and Tang Dynasty.Because Han Dynsaty and Tang Dynasty China was superpower in Asia.Japan and Korea learned a lot from China:language, costume, educati on system....
But in Ming Dynasty Manchu defeated Han people then they ruled China, they keeping killed Han people for 37 years, and at least they killed 36 million Han people, ordered Han people abandon Hanfu and wear Manchu costume, but many Han people don't want to do it,so they would rather die rather than wear Manchu costume,Han people dared not to wear Hanfu when they alive so when they died they still wear Hanfu to prove that they were men of Ming Dynasty, the men of Huaxia not Qing Dynasty. In fact Qipao is Manchu costume not Chinese costume,Chinese weared Hanfu for more than 5000 years but Qipao just 360 years,Qipao doesn't fit Chinese culture. Why many foreigners thought Qipao is Chinese tradition costume?Because when Europeans invaded China in Qing Dynasy,China was ruled by Manchu,so they thought Manchu culture was Chinese culture, but it was not ture, because Manchu culture was nomadic before they ruled China,as we all know Chinese culture was not nomadic. So how can Manchu culture represent Chinese culture? How can Manchu costume represtent Chinese tradition costume?
