Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig (born September 1, 1971), also known as Rachel Zoe, is an American fashion stylist best known for working with celebrities, fashion houses, beauty firms, advertising agencies, and magazine editors. In 2008, the first season of her Bravo reality television series ''The Rachel Zoe Project'' debuted. She is married to Rodger Berman, with whom she attended college at The George Washington University, in Washington, DC.

Early life

Zoe was born Rachel Zoe Rosenzweig in New York City, New York, the daughter of Leslie and Ron Rosenzweig. She was raised Jewish. Zoe grew up in Millburn, New Jersey, and graduated from Millburn High School. She has a sister Pamela Rosenzweig. She later studied sociology and psychology at George Washington University. Before working as a stylist, Zoe worked at ''Gotham'' and ''YM'' magazine.

Career

Although Zoe works with high-profile clients and has a very notable fashion sense, she does not have any formal fashion training. Zoe went freelance, giving her the opportunity to meet and work with some high-profile clients. As a stylist, she has worked with Brenda Song, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Mario Orejel, Nicole Richie, and Keira Knightley. Zoe's current client list includes Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Kate Beckinsale, Debra Messing, Demi Moore, Liv Tyler, Joy Bryant, Molly Sims, Beau Garett, Eva Mendes, Paula Patton and Anne Hathaway. Zoe, with the help of reality TV star Nicole Richie, became the pioneer of the 'boho chic' look. This look consists of oversized jewelry, loose-fitting dresses and shirts, paired with a slim frame.

Other notable collaborations: Collaborated with accessories maker Judith Leiber on a line of luxury bags. Served as the face of Samsung's BlackJack cell phone national ad campaign. Consultant for Piperlime.com, Gap, Inc's shoe and handbag website. ''Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty and Everything Glamour'' is the book that was co-written by Rose Apodaca, which made it to the New York Times Bestseller List. The book talks about styling tips and observations from a celebrity stylist's point of view. Also giving advice about everything style when it comes to your home décor, dressing stylishly, travel, and entertaining.

With the expansion of her clientele and numerous deals coming in, Zoe switched from her former agency, Magnet, and signed with the Todd Shemarya Agency.

In February, Swedish fashion retailer Lindex announced a collaboration with Rachel Zoe this spring. Zoe will be choosing her favorites from the Lindex spring collection. This will be Zoe’s first bigger collaboration with a European brand.

Reality show

In September 2008, Zoe's reality series, ''The Rachel Zoe Project'', debuted on Bravo. The series follows Zoe, her two fashion associates, Taylor Jacobson and Brad Goreski, as well as her husband and business partner, Rodger Berman.

The series' second season premiered on August 24, 2009. Bravo announced they would be picking up a third season of the show which premiered August 3, 2010 and covered the departure of Zoe's longtime assistant, Taylor Jacobson, while introducing her new assistant, Ashley.

The fourth season will premiere on September 6th, 2011 and will deal with Rachel dealing with Brad's departure as well as her pregnancy with Skyler, her first son with Rodger.

Clothing line

Zoe officially announced that she will be releasing a clothing line, with the intention of turning it into a full lifestyle brand. The line is set to come out in the fall of 2011, and Zoe is in the search now for a design team. Zoe intends on wearing the brand, which is completely different from her QVC line which she launched earlier in the year. Her line is intended to contain "accessories, shoes, and apparel, including fur vests, and maybe home items in the future", if all goes well and as planned.

Personal life

Zoe has been married to investment banker Rodger Berman since 1996. She announced on November 17, 2010, that they were expecting their first child, a boy, due mid-March 2011. On March 23, 2011, Zoe gave birth to a son, Skyler Morrison Berman.

Life and career

India Joy Osuna-Eisley was born in California, to musician David Glen Eisley and actress Olivia Hussey. She also has a half sister and brother named Alexander Martin and Maxamillion Fuse from her mother's second marriage to Akira Fuse.

Eisley and her mother appeared in the movie ''Headspace'' (2005) together, India in the role of Martha. After other small roles in various independent films shot primarily in Europe, Eisley gained a major role during the summer of 2008 with ''The Secret Life of the American Teenager'' for the ABC Family Network.

In ''The Secret Life of the American Teenager'', Eisley plays Ashley Juergens, whom, is sister of teen mother Amy Juergens. Her character, Ashley, recently got her GED then left to tour the USA so India can film her new movie.

Early life

Electra was born in Sharonville, Ohio, the daughter of Patricia, a singer, and Harry, a guitarist and entertainer. She attended Ann Weigel Elementary School and then studied dance at Dance Artists dance studio under Gloria J. Simpson, in Western Hills, a neighborhood of Cincinnati. Her mother died of a brain tumor in 1998. Her older sister Debbie died from a heart attack, also in 1998. Carmen graduated from Princeton High School in Sharonville. She also attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) in the Cincinnati Public School District (CPS). She has Irish, German, and Cherokee ancestry.

Career

Electra started her professional career in 1990 as a dancer at Kings Island amusement park in Mason, Ohio in the show "It’s Magic", one of the more popular shows in the park's history. In 1991, she moved to California and met Prince. Soon after, Electra signed a recording contract with Prince's Paisley Park Records and began a short-lived singing career. During her time at Paisley Park Records, she officially became known as ''Carmen Electra''.

In 1995, Electra started appearing in television programs. In May 1996 she was featured in a nude pictorial in ''Playboy'' magazine, the first of several. This exposure led to higher profile television appearances, including ''Baywatch'' (cast member from 1997–1998, as Leilani "Lani" McKenzie) and MTV's ''Singled Out''. She returned to ''Baywatch'' for the 2003 reunion movie, ''Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding''.

Electra was featured in ''Playboy'' four more times, with her second appearance in June 1997, third in December 2000, fourth in April 2003 and her fifth in the January 2009 anniversary issue. She was on the cover three times, in December 2000, April 2003 and on the 55th anniversary Issue in January 2009.

Electra has appeared in films such as ''American Vampire'' (1997), ''Good Burger'' (1997), ''The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human'' (1999), the horror spoof ''Scary Movie'' (2000) and also appeared in ''Meet the Spartans'' (2008), ''Scary Movie 4'' (2006), ''Epic Movie'' (2007), ''Date Movie'' (2006), ''Disaster Movie'' (2008), the remake of the 1970s TV show ''Starsky & Hutch'' (2004) and ''Cheaper by the Dozen 2''. Also in 2005, she began the Naked Women's Wrestling League, acting as the commissioner for the professional wrestling promotion. Other work

Electra's video game work includes appearing as characters in ''Def Jam: Fight for New York'' and is one of the celebrity challenges in the video game ''ESPN NFL 2K5''.

Electra has produced exercise videos and equipment. Her ''Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease'' is a five-disc DVD series that combines teaching classic stripping moves with a low impact cardio workout, which also starred Jon Eby. She also endorses the Electra Pole, a pole dancing kit released in January 2008.

In 1997, Electra modeled for the covers of the comic books ''Razor and the Ladies of London Night'' by London Night Studios.

Electra appeared in commercials for ''Maxim'' Men's Hair Color products (2004–2005).

In 2006, Electra signed on as the spokesmodel for Ritz Camera Centers, appearing in their television and print ads with CEO David Ritz. Charity work

Carmen Electra organized a fundraiser for Head to Hollywood, a non-profit organization which offers support to brain tumor survivors. Other charities which she supports include Elevate Hope, a charity which supports abused and abandoned children, and the Hollyrod Foundation, which provides medical, physical, and emotional support to those suffering from debilitating life circumstances, especially Parkinson's Disease.

Personal life

Electra married basketball star Dennis Rodman in November 1998. Their wedding took place at Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, the marriage did not last long, and Electra filed for divorce in April 1999.

On November 22, 2003, Electra married Dave Navarro, lead guitarist for the rock band Jane's Addiction. The couple documented their courtship and marriage in an MTV reality television show called '''Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave''. On July 17, 2006, she and Navarro announced their separation, and Electra filed for divorce on August 10. It was finalized on February 20, 2007.

In April 2008, Electra's representative confirmed that she was engaged to Rob Patterson, a member of the nu metal band Otep and hard rock band Filter.

Kathryn Bailey "Kate" Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973) is an English actress.

She initially came to prominence in the 1990s for her roles in costume dramas such as ''Cold Comfort Farm'', ''Much Ado About Nothing'' and ''Emma''. Following a breakout performance in 2001's ''Pearl Harbor'', she has appeared in big-budget Hollywood movies like ''The Aviator'', the ''Underworld'' films and ''Van Helsing'' as well as smaller independent movies such as ''Everybody's Fine'' and ''Winged Creatures''. She earned a Critic's Choice Award nomination for her performance in 2008's ''Nothing But the Truth''.

She has three films set for release in 2012: ''Underworld 4'', ''Contraband'' and ''Total Recall''.

Early life

Beckinsale was born in London to actor Richard Beckinsale and actress Judy Loe. Her father unexpectedly died from a heart attack in 1979 (at the age of 31) when she was just five years old. Her mother later married director Roy Battersby, and Beckinsale was raised alongside his four sons and daughter. She also has a paternal half-sister, actress Samantha Beckinsale.

Beckinsale attended Godolphin and Latymer School in West London and was involved with the Orange Tree Youth Theatre. In her teens, she twice won the W. H. Smith Young Writers' competition—once for short stories and once for poetry. She had a nervous breakdown and developed anorexia at the age of fifteen and underwent Freudian psychoanalysis for four years.

She studied French and Russian literature at New College, Oxford University and was involved with the Oxford University Dramatic Society, most notably being directed by fellow student Tom Hooper in a production of ''A View from the Bridge'' at the Oxford Playhouse. She spent her third year in Paris as part of Oxford's study-abroad program, after which she decided to leave university to concentrate on her burgeoning acting career.

Career

Beckinsale landed her first major role, in Kenneth Branagh's big-screen Shakespearean adaptation, ''Much Ado About Nothing'', during her first year at Oxford University. She filmed three other movies while at university: ''Prince of Jutland'', ''Uncovered'' and French-language ''Marie-Louise Ou La Permission''. Shortly after leaving Oxford, Beckinsale appeared in ''Cold Comfort Farm'', ''Haunted'' and the TV adaptation of Jane Austen's ''Emma''. In 1995 and 1996, Beckinsale worked on four plays, most notably ''The Seagull'' opposite Michael Sheen. In 1997, she starred in ''Shooting Fish'' and as Juliet in a radio production of Romeo and Juliet opposite her then partner, Michael Sheen, who also directed.

Beckinsale then began to seek work in Los Angeles, starring in 1998's ''The Last Days of Disco'' with Chloe Sevigny and 1999's ''Brokedown Palace'' with Claire Danes. The former earned her a London Critics Circle Film Award. After a break following the birth of her daughter, Beckinsale was cast in 2001's ''Pearl Harbor'' opposite Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett, one of the highest-grossing films of its year. She followed this with ''Serendipity'', ''The Golden Bowl'' and ''Laurel Canyon''.

She became known as an action star following staring roles in ''Underworld'' and ''Van Helsing''. In 2004, she portrayed Ava Gardner in Martin Scorsese's ''The Aviator'', a role for which she gained almost 1½ stones (21 lbs). In 2006, Beckinsale reprised her role as a vampire in the successful sequel ''Underworld: Evolution'' and, in 2007, she appeared in thriller ''Vacancy'' and independent film ''Snow Angels''. In 2008, she appeared in Winged Creatures and Nothing But the Truth, receiving a Critic's Choice Award nomination for her performance in the latter. Despite strong award buzz for both Beckinsale and co-star Vera Farmiga, the film never received a full theatrical release after the distributor filed for bankruptcy. In 2009, she starred in the comic-book adaption Whiteout and Everybody's Fine opposite Robert De Niro.

Beckinsale married American director Len Wiseman on 9 May 2004 in Bel-Air, California. They live in Los Angeles with Beckinsale's daughter, Lily Mo Sheen.

Beckinsale previously had a eight-year relationship with Welsh actor Michael Sheen from 1995 to 2003, after meeting when cast in a touring production of ''The Seagull''. Their daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, was born 31 January 1999. The relationship ended after the filming of ''Underworld'' (in which they both starred) because Beckinsale realised she had fallen for the film's married director, Len Wiseman. The former couple have remained close friends. Beckinsale has said, "I love him dearly – I would miss him dreadfully if he wasn't in my life." "He is one of the most thoughtful, principled people and Lily is so lucky to have him as a dad."

Liam McIntyre (born 8 February 1982) is an Australian actor most known for his work in several short films and guest starring roles in Australian TV series. He is soon to be starring in the leading role of Starz television series ''Spartacus: Vengeance''.

Career

Although McIntyre has started his career in mostly short films, the actor had more promising roles guest starring in Australia's popular television series' ''Rush'' and ''Neighbours''. His first feature film starring role came in the Craig Newland directed film ''Frozen Moments''.McIntyre made his US television debut guest starring in an episode of the award nominated HBO mini-series ''The Pacific''. McIntyre was chosen to replace Welsh actor Andy Whitfield who had to withdraw from the role of Spartacus when his cancer came back while filming.

McIntyre is currently in New Zealand, getting himself into "gladiator" shape in order to take on the iconic role of the Thracian warrior. Production on the second season of ''Spartacus'' is slated to resume in the Fall of 2011 and will premiere in January 2012.
