Your soul is black
Your blood is cold
Your skin is rough
You have a heart of gold
Your face so dark
With clammy hair
Upon your flesh
Wet creatures everywhere

You tried to kiss me
And sent a shiver
Round my neck

Sent a shiver down my spine
You hate the sun
But rain is nice
You love the snow
But you are afraid of ice
You're dressed in mud

Canada Road Trip: Best Things To Do In The Yukon
In this video, we share some of the best things to do in the Yukon, including Whitehorse, Dawson, Kluane National Park, and more!
Welcome to the Yukon!
Known for its dramatic landscapes, vast wilderness, and the famous Klondike Gold Rush, the Yukon has been capturing people's imaginations for years. With four-legged creatures far outnumbering humans, Canada's tallest mountain peaks, and the world's largest non-polar glacier, the Yukon is a true paradise for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts.
We started our journey in Whitehorse, the Yukon's capital city. From here, we toured the SS Klondike, ate some delicious food in Whitehorse's oldest buildings, saw heaps of wildlife, and caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights. We then went to Dawson, the worlds most famous gold rush town. While w...

Exploring the Yukon Territory, Canada & Alaska
We spent three weeks road tripping through the beautiful Yukon Territory, Alaska and northern British Columbia in a Canadream Truck Camper. We drove over 3000km, got 1 flat tire and had adventures that will last us a lifetime.
We started our journey spending four days in Whitehorse exploring the beautiful capital city of the Yukon. Here we explored all the national historic sites, Miles Canyon and soaking in the charm of the biggest city in the Yukon.
From there we hit the road and headed towards Dawson City with a few stops along the way including a stop to Keno City where we ended up naming our Husky after the smallest town in the territory. We made it to the home of the gold rush explored Discovery Claim where they first found gold, visited Dredge Number 4 National Historic Site, M...

The Yukon holds some of the World’s last large expanses of wilderness. It’s, brave wilderness - deep backcountry camping, remote wild camping in the full sense of the word as it’s well off grid and far from the road system. This is the full documentary about my survival in the woods where I’m truly alone in the wild and exploring the Yukon. After bush flying into a remote mountain lake, I head out solo camping and fishing on a wilderness travel adventure for fourteen days by canoe. On the trip, I paddle the advanced level whitewater of the Hess River and then follow the Stewart River, completing the trip some 400 kilometres later in the community of Mayo. On this adventure, I catch Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout. What’s better than catching wild Trout for a catch and cook over the fire while in the Yukon? I also find a remote traditionally-built trappers log cabin, run multiple whitewater rapids, undertake long, bushwhack portages and see a lot of wildlife.
The Yukon is a place where dreams are made and where adventurers have been going to follow their dreams since the Klondike gold rush in the 1880s. As much as anyone, I went there to follow my dreams and they became a reality
This long documentary version is basically all of the episodes from this adventure back to back with a few edits to shorten it down. Still I wound up with the longest film I’ve ever uploaded by far.

While walking around the old boardwalk streets was incredible enough, we also went gold panning, toured the massive dredge #4, watched a Cancan show at the oldest casino in the country, and took a river cruise on a paddle-wheeler. We then drove up the infamous Dempster Highway all the way to Eagle Plains, past the Arctic Circle and into the Northwest Territories. After coming back and spending another night in Dawson, we drove to Kluane National Park for one of the most epic flightseeing tours we've ever experienced.
We explored the Yukon from August 16 - September 6th, 2017!

Canada's Road to 150 is a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?
We will drive to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.

We spent three weeks road tripping through the beautiful Yukon Territory,
Alaska and northern British Columbia in a Canadream Truck Camper.
We made it to the home of the gold rush explored Discovery Claim where they first found gold, visited Dredge Number 4 National Historic Site, Midnight Dome, S.S. Keno National Historic Site, gabled and watched the show at Diamond Tooth Gerties and hit the road up the Dempster Highway where we got a flat tire on Chris' birthday but it makes it all part of the adventure.
After we left Dawson City we stopped in at the Shipyard Graveyard on the otherside of the river from Dawson City and headed towards North America's highest border crossing and stopped into Chicken, Alaska. From Chicken we headed down to Skagway Alaska, into Northern BC and then onto the Alaska Highway to Kluane National Park where our breaths were taken away by the incredible mountain St Elias Mountain range where we took a plane ride up into the mountains and landed in front of Mount Logan
The Yukon has the most incredible sites and has turned into one of our favourite adventures we have ever gone on. Have you had a chance to explore the Yukon or want to?
