Les Levres rouges (1971)
Daughters of Darkness (in France, Les Lèvres rouges, and in Belgium, Le Rouge aux lèvres) is a 1971 Belgian horror film (with dialogue in English), directed by Harry Kümel. Camille Paglia writes, "A classy genre of vampire film follows a style I call psychological high Gothic. It begins in Coleridge's medieval Christabel and its descendants, Poe's Ligeia and James's The Turn of the Screw. A good example is Daughters of Darkness, starring Delphine Seyrig as an elegant lesbian vampire. High gothic is abstract and ceremonious. Evil has become world-weary, hierarchical glamour. There is no bestiality. The theme is eroticized western power, the burden of history." more at: en.wikipedia.org www.allrovi.com www.imdb.com www.rottentomatoes.com tcmdb.com

Prehistoric Women is a 1967 adventure film. Also known as Slave Girls, the film starred Martine Beswick, Michael Latimer and Steven Berkoff. One of the most bizarre films ever released by Hammer, it was produced using sets and costumes left over from the film One Million Years BC (1966), which had starred Raquel Welch and featured Martine Beswick. Contamination (1980)
Contamination (also known as Alien Contamination, Contamination: Alien on Earth and Toxic Spawn) is a 1980 science fiction horror film directed by Luigi Cozzi and starring Ian McCulloch. Cozzi also cowrote the screenplay under his pen name Lewis Coates. After the Video Recordings Act, Contamination (as it is known in the United Kingdom) was classed as a video nasty. Specifically, the film includes graphic depictions of human bodies exploding violently in slow motion, as well as the grisly remains of such explosions. While the explosion effects are not technically graphic (each of the exploding victims is encased in some kind of bulky costume that is obviously hiding the mechanism that sprays the gore), they are extremely bloody. more at: en.wikipedia.org www.imdb.com www.rottentomatoes.com www.allrovi.com Uploader: Splatterfest deeeluxe!

Sun Ra (* 22. Mai 1914 in Birmingham, Alabama; † 30.
Bemerkenswerte Sun-Ra-Alben der 1950er Jahre sind unter vielen anderen Super-Sonic Jazz, Sun Ra Visits Planet Earth, Interstellar Low Ways, Angels And Demons At Play, We Travel The Spaceways und Jazz in Silhouette.
Bemerkenswerte Titel aus dieser Periode sind unter anderem The Magic City, When Sun Comes Out und Other Planes Of There.
