Falconer - Stand in Veneration
Look in consternation as storms tear up the sea, raging down upon us with greatest might. Gathering the power from above the clouds, blackening the sun away from sight. Gaze in frustration as ground becomes a void, forcing you towards the jaws of sand. Your power is now shaken to its foundation, across every acre of your land. Fall to the ground after climbing so high, fall to your knees and yield for the sky. As the primordial powers unveil, from beyond time, nature prevails. You can only stand in veneration. Stare in astonishment as earth spits out its core, covering your land in a burning wave. Run for cover if you can and save what can be saved, or the wave will become your grave. Behold in amazement, inferiously you stand. The air becomes a fire right before your eyes. The sparkling flame of envy is setting you alight, as mother nature cracks the sky.

"The old veneration of simplicity must return."
Dr. Subramanian Swamy is the President of the Janata Party and was Union Minister for Commerce and Law between 1990 and 1991 in the Chandra Shekhar Cabinet. This video is the fifth part of his conversation with Rainmaker's Vidya Raja. "The 2G spectrum has benefited both the ISI of Pakistan, because through the backdoor -- Etisalat is a Pakistani company and Telenor is totally dependant on , they have entered. LTTE comes in through Raja. Kanimozhi herself was a member of the LTTE in Malaysia. With corruption there can never be terrorism." Rajeev Gandhi brought in the computerisation of railway tickets, which helped in eradicating the problems of corruption completely. One of the ways of eradicating corruption is by using science and technology for our benefit. It is essential to de-value the social status one gets because of having more money. The old veneration of simplicity must return. "Those politicians I looked upto are gone, Jayprakash - man of enormous sacrifice, Gandhi, not because of his non-violence struggle but because he made men out of mud. I admired Morarji Desai also, because he was such a tough guy. In the Emergency he did not crack, if he had cracked we would have all been finished. I also admired someone the middle class did not admire -- Charan Singh, extraordinarily honest man. Manmohan Singh I do not admire because he is almost like my peer." "There is no retirement age in politics or law. I know my enemies would like me to retire but... no," he said ...

"Veneration of the Vector" - NWO Vector Symbolism and its connection to space programs worldwide
"Only puny secrets need protection. Big discoveries are protected by public incredulity." Marshall McLuhan In this video, we will take a closer look at the global infatuation that many space programs around the world seem to have with the "vector" symbol. I actually briefly discussed this particular subject matter publicly before in an on-camera interview I did a couple years back that appeared in the documentary film "Moon Rising" (directed by Jose Escamilla), so for those of you who have seen that film already, you will already be no doubt aware of some of the bizarre and blatant connections I am highlighting in this presentation here. There are a few new things I included that did not make it into "Moon Rising" though, so I hope you still enjoy watching my version of this evidence presentation. While NASA of course plays front and center in this, their "meatball" insignia is far from the only example of official space program symbology that blatantly engages in this "vector worship", and it may surprise some people when they see how important those who really "run the show" here on planet Earth consider this design element to be. This vector shape has long held tremendous secret symbolism for certain elite facets of our planet's population, with those "Powers That Be" covertly ensuring that the vector symbology would be globally emblematic of the most advanced and awe-inspiring of all human scientific exploratory endeavours - mankind's reconnaissance of the vast New ...

Veneration of the Holy Cross: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Westfield NJ March 18, 2012
On the Third Sunday of Great and Holy Lent, the Greek Orthodox Church commemorates the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Cross is placed on a tray surrounded by daffodils and is carried in a solemn procession through the church to the chanting of the Thrice Holy Hymn. The tray is placed on a table before the congregation, and the hymn of the Feast of the Cross is chanted. The priest then venerates the Cross and congregation as the congregation chants, "We venerate Your Cross, O Christ, and Your holy Resurrection we glorify." At the conclusion of the service, the congregation venerate the cross and receive the daffodils from the priest. This video was taken on March 18, 2012 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield, NJ where Rev. Protopresbyter Peter Delvizis is the Presiding Priest with Rev. Father Gregory Rubis, and a special visit from Rev. Alkiviadis Calivas. To learn more, please read: lent.goarch.org

Kanamara Matsuri - かなまら祭り
The Kanamara Matsuri is an annual Shinto fertility festival held in Kawasaki, Japan. The penis forms the central theme of the event that is reflected everywhere—in illustrations, candy, carved vegetables, decorations, and a mikoshi parade.
The Kanamara Matsuri is centered around a local penis-venerating shrine once popular among prostitutes who wished to pray for protection against sexually transmitted diseases. It is said that there are divine protections also in business prosperity and the clan's prosperity, easy delivery, marriage, and married couple harmony. There is also a legend of a sharp-toothed demon that hid inside the vagina of a young girl and castrated two young men on their wedding nights with the young girl before a blacksmith fashioned an iron phallus to break the demon's teeth, leading to the enshrinement of the item.
Today, the festival is used to raise money for HIV research.

Sacred Marriage 2: The Refining Fire (How to Make a Great Rub)
We are all in the gutter, but some of us look at the stars-Oscar Wilde
They dream in courtship, but in wedlock wake…Alexander Pope
Because marriage, more than any other relationship, reflects God’s involvement with us and bears more potential to draw our hearts to heaven, it can more readily give us a taste of hell (Dan Allender & Tremper Longman III)
We all associate the image of fire with hell. And many marriages in American have gone through this fire of Hell. Whether the marriage ends or the couple stays together, marriage is seen by some as hell on earth.
The Apostle Peter was well acquainted with fire.
He denied Jesus while warming his hands over fire. Jesus questioned his love while fish were roasting over fire. In both cases he associated fire with a test. One he failed another he passed. I think that is why he wrote these verses in 1 Peter 4:12-13 (NLT):
1 Peter 4:12-13 (NLT) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.
1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT) So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
Fire is certainly viewed as destructive and dangerous. Fires destroy forests, but fires also lead to renewal. Fire burns away the dross surrounding certain metals and reveals the pure gold or silver. The fires of life can destroy our marriage, or, if survived, purify our marriage. The fires of our marriage can draw our hearts to heaven or leave us with the taste of hell.
In the movie Fireproof
Captain Caleb Holt (Kirk Cameron) is a firefighter in Albany, Georgia. His seven-year marriage to Catherine is falling apart. Neither one understands the pressures the other faces, and after a heated argument in which Caleb screams in Catherine's face, she declares she wants out of the marriage, and takes off her wedding ring.
While Caleb claims to his friends and co-workers that Catherine is over-sensitive and disrespectful, Catherine simultaneously claims to her peers that Caleb is insensitive to her needs and doesn't listen to her. Further catalyzing Catherine's motivation for divorce is Caleb's addiction to Internet pornography and a large sum of money ($24,000, to be exact) he has saved up for a fishing boat he intends to buy, ignoring the fact that Catherine's disabled mother is in need of hospital equipment that she cannot afford, and which insurance refuses to cover. Caleb tells his father John about the impending divorce, and John challenges Caleb to commit to a 40-day test called, "The Love Dare." Caleb reluctantly agrees to do the test, but more for the sake of his father than his marriage. Catherine initially sees through Caleb's half-hearted attempts to win back her heart, which deepens Caleb's frustration. But with his father's encouragement, Caleb continues with The Love Dare, and eventually makes a life-changing commitment to God, unbeknownst to Catherine.
The movie has some various twists but the end result is Caleb and Catherine realize they need each other, and at the end they renew their vows in an outdoor ceremony, this time as a covenant with God. Their marriage is FIREPROOF.
Marriage is a Covenant
Did you see your marriage vows as a marriage Covenant? Did both you and your spouse get married knowing you were making a covenant before God! You did, whether you realized it or not.
Definition: a binding and solemn agreement to do or keep from doing a specified thing; compact
We know of Covenants from the Bible. God put a rainbow in the sky as a covenant that He would never destroy the world by rain. He made a Covenant with Abraham, He made a Covenant with David, He made a Covenant with all who by faith believe in Jesus Christ. That Covenant was sealed by the blood and body of Jesus.
When we get married, we enter into a covenant before God. In a Covenant, you make a binding agreement to stay with this woman or man until they die. In that Covenant we also promise to do so and so.
Most people believe “Well, my husband broke his promise to love me, or take care of me or so and so, so it’s OK for me to break my promise to him.” Or, well my wife is no longer the person I married, so my vow does not apply.
WE draw a line in our marriage
“I’ll keep my end of the covenant as long as you don’t cross over this line.” I’ll keep my word as long as you don’t … … … But as soon as you do, that’s it, I’m out of here!
That would be OK if marriage

V&A; Ornamental installation (06/2011)
The Victoria & Albert Museum commissioned me to create an interactive installation as part of their activities around the Cult Of Beauty Aestheticism exhibition. Keeping William Morris as a loose source of inspiration, as well as addressing the museum's upcoming Power Of Making collaboration with the Crafts Council, I proposed to create a modern, stripped down interpretation of his pattern work mixed with classic islamic/indian geometric influences and then realised this project using different digital fabrication techniques.
The result is a Victorian-esque, ornamental, laser-cut, 2-panel room divider, covered in 620 hand folded paper cones, mounted on the front surface as projection canvas. Visitors can create their own pattern using an iPad hidden in a small table (also laser-cut) standing nearby.
The generated tiling pattern is based on a central octagon surrounded by other polygons (4,5,6,7-gons). It forms the guiding topology for both the panels and the table. I developed a number of small software tools to create the tessellations by dissecting these polygons into symmetrical smaller shapes. Using several levels of symmetry, only 18 unique shapes are needed to create the full pattern. These are then arranged, unfolded and used to generate the cut paths for both the paper elements as well as the MDF frames. The paper cones were designed in such way that their elevation varies with their distance from the centre of each parent polygon, thus creating a secondary superimposed pattern in the relief of the tessellation. All of the paper shapes were fabricated by myself using a Craft Robo cutting plotter (and 200+ sheets of paper).
The room divider was manufactured by Metropolitan Works on their large-scale laser cutter. All color palettes which can be interactively applied to the polygons via the iPad UI are sampled from Morris' original wallpaper designs.
Also see the full 270+ images flickr set for this project:

The next installation period will be during London Design Festival (23-25 Sep). Also, if you'd like to commission me for similar work do get in touch!
