Cell Biology: Cell Motility Part 1
www.zaneeducation.com - This educational biology video will assist biology students to study and identify cellular movements produced by the activities of microtubules and microfilaments, and describe how the active sliding mechanisms of microtubules and microfilaments generate the movement of internal cell organelles or areas of the cytoplasm. All of Zane Education's educational video lessons provide subtitles giving your child the option to watch, listen to, or read each presentation making them excellent learning tool for all manner of special Needs children, students with visual and hearing impairments, dyslexia and reading difficulties, learning difficulties and autism. They enable gifted children and all students to learn at their own speed and will help improve each child's overall reading skills. They are used in schools and by homeschool students everywhere.

Julie Theriot (Stanford) Part 1: Cell Motility
www.ibioseminars.org This lecture covers the biochemical basis of actin-based motility (focusing on the pathogen Listeria as a model system for this process), the biophysical mechanism of polymerization-based force generation, and an evolutionary perspective of cell shape in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The first part covers our understanding of how cells use the actin cytoskeleton to crawl. The pathogenic bacteria Listeria (which causes food poisoning) uses the actin cytoskeleton to propel itself in the cytoplasm and also invade other cells. This system has been an important model for understanding the actin cytoskeleton at the leading edge of a motile cell and for understanding host-pathogen interactions. Transposing Motility - Jesse La Flair
My progression in strength and movement has been par with my desired results. The friends and family I have gained in the past year has far exceeded any expectations I could have dreamed up. "Transposing Motility" is a visual document of personal movement. The journey is the destination, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else then the path I am currently on.
