The New Covenant, one not unlike the old covenant, made in the days of Moses, but exceeding it greatly. It is superior to the old covenant. The old covenant was, mainly, a foreshadow of this great covenant which was to come. What is a Covenant? - an eternal promise made by the supreme YHWH, who never breaks His promises, ever. The Old covenant was the covenant of constant sacrifice and the blood of sheep and goats. The new covenant was sealed in one great atonement of the great lamb, slain before the foundation of the world, the one who alone is worthy. The New Covenant that washes away the sins of the House of Israel once and for all, when the great YHWH Himself forgives their iniquities and remembers their sins no more. Th Old Covenant had a human high priest, one that was fallible and indeed sinned. Yet in the New Covenant, we have a divine prophet, priest, and king, in the likeness and lineage of David and yet greater than David, who has been counted worth of ...

9th WAVE - NEW COVENANT & END OF OLD WORLD ORDER
It's interesting to me that I was directed to the Bible upon awakening this morning, and, of course, throughout my meditation time. Spirit was reminding me of our new covenant, that the Spiritual law would be written in our hearts, superceding religion in which we require external teachers. In this covenant, our teacher would be within each of us; and we would all, from the least to the greatest, know the truth and live in that truth.

Sabbath is part of the New Covenant pt1 of 5
This video, which answers objection #2 that the Sabbath is not part of the New Covenant, seeks to dispell this myth. Part 1 introduces the biblical requirements for establishing a covenant; for if we do not know how a covenant is established we certainly will have a hard time discerning where it starts & what are its provisions. Other points made are: 1 That Christ did not destroy the Law, of which the Sabbath is a part. In fact, He clearly taught that was NOT His mission. 2 That Jesus, rather than eliminating the Sabbath, taught its proper observance; a wasted endeavor if the Sabbath was not going to be part of the New Covenant. 3 Christ told His disciples to be prayerful of an event that was to come about 40 years after His death & resurrection that it NOT occur on the Sabbath day. Why command them to do this if the Sabbath was to be eliminated for Christians at the cross? 4 That Luke speaks of the Sabbath day about 30 years after Christs death & resurrection. 5 That the New Testament refers to 84 Sabbaths being kept in the Book of Acts by the Apostles and other saved by grace Christians. Seems the Apostles were Sabbath keepers. 6 That Mary, Jesus own mother, was observing the Sabbath day, according to the commandment after Christ shed His blood and established the New Covenant.

Why Jesus' Words Are In The New Covenant
kingdomwarriors.com (Get Email Updates) kingdomwarriors.com (Support Today) To claim that Jesus' words before the cross is "old covenant or the law" is to say that Jesus' words before the cross are "obsolete, growing old, and ready to vanish away." (Heb 8:8-13) This means "feeding the poor, preaching the gospel, Lord's supper, healing the sick, Lord's prayer, loving our neighbour" are all obsolete. See the problem? We can't pick and choose the ones we like to be in the NC and others not. "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah... In that He says, "A new covenant, " He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." Hebrews 8:8,13 www.KingdomWarriors.com

Sacred Marriage 2: The Refining Fire (How to Make a Great Rub)
We are all in the gutter, but some of us look at the stars-Oscar Wilde
They dream in courtship, but in wedlock wake…Alexander Pope
Because marriage, more than any other relationship, reflects God’s involvement with us and bears more potential to draw our hearts to heaven, it can more readily give us a taste of hell (Dan Allender & Tremper Longman III)
We all associate the image of fire with hell. And many marriages in American have gone through this fire of Hell. Whether the marriage ends or the couple stays together, marriage is seen by some as hell on earth.
The Apostle Peter was well acquainted with fire.
He denied Jesus while warming his hands over fire. Jesus questioned his love while fish were roasting over fire. In both cases he associated fire with a test. One he failed another he passed. I think that is why he wrote these verses in 1 Peter 4:12-13 (NLT):
1 Peter 4:12-13 (NLT) Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.
1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT) So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
Fire is certainly viewed as destructive and dangerous. Fires destroy forests, but fires also lead to renewal. Fire burns away the dross surrounding certain metals and reveals the pure gold or silver. The fires of life can destroy our marriage, or, if survived, purify our marriage. The fires of our marriage can draw our hearts to heaven or leave us with the taste of hell.
In the movie Fireproof
Captain Caleb Holt (Kirk Cameron) is a firefighter in Albany, Georgia. His seven-year marriage to Catherine is falling apart. Neither one understands the pressures the other faces, and after a heated argument in which Caleb screams in Catherine's face, she declares she wants out of the marriage, and takes off her wedding ring.
While Caleb claims to his friends and co-workers that Catherine is over-sensitive and disrespectful, Catherine simultaneously claims to her peers that Caleb is insensitive to her needs and doesn't listen to her. Further catalyzing Catherine's motivation for divorce is Caleb's addiction to Internet pornography and a large sum of money ($24,000, to be exact) he has saved up for a fishing boat he intends to buy, ignoring the fact that Catherine's disabled mother is in need of hospital equipment that she cannot afford, and which insurance refuses to cover. Caleb tells his father John about the impending divorce, and John challenges Caleb to commit to a 40-day test called, "The Love Dare." Caleb reluctantly agrees to do the test, but more for the sake of his father than his marriage. Catherine initially sees through Caleb's half-hearted attempts to win back her heart, which deepens Caleb's frustration. But with his father's encouragement, Caleb continues with The Love Dare, and eventually makes a life-changing commitment to God, unbeknownst to Catherine.
The movie has some various twists but the end result is Caleb and Catherine realize they need each other, and at the end they renew their vows in an outdoor ceremony, this time as a covenant with God. Their marriage is FIREPROOF.
Marriage is a Covenant
Did you see your marriage vows as a marriage Covenant? Did both you and your spouse get married knowing you were making a covenant before God! You did, whether you realized it or not.
Definition: a binding and solemn agreement to do or keep from doing a specified thing; compact
We know of Covenants from the Bible. God put a rainbow in the sky as a covenant that He would never destroy the world by rain. He made a Covenant with Abraham, He made a Covenant with David, He made a Covenant with all who by faith believe in Jesus Christ. That Covenant was sealed by the blood and body of Jesus.
When we get married, we enter into a covenant before God. In a Covenant, you make a binding agreement to stay with this woman or man until they die. In that Covenant we also promise to do so and so.
Most people believe “Well, my husband broke his promise to love me, or take care of me or so and so, so it’s OK for me to break my promise to him.” Or, well my wife is no longer the person I married, so my vow does not apply.
WE draw a line in our marriage
“I’ll keep my end of the covenant as long as you don’t cross over this line.” I’ll keep my word as long as you don’t … … … But as soon as you do, that’s it, I’m out of here!
That would be OK if marriage

"Jesus is the true and better Adam who passed the test in the garden and whose obedience is imputed to us.
Jesus is the true and better Abel who, though innocently slain, has blood now that cries out, not for our condemnation, but for acquittal.
Jesus is the true and better Abraham who answered the call of God to leave all the comfortable and familiar and go out into the void not knowing wither he went to create a new people of God.
Jesus is the true and better Isaac who was not just offered up by his father on the mount but was truly sacrificed for us. And when God said to Abraham, “Now I know you love me because you did not withhold your son, your only son whom you love from me,” now we can look at God taking his son up the mountain and sacrificing him and say, “Now we know that you love us because you did not withhold your son, your only son, whom you love from us.”
Jesus is the true and better Jacob who wrestled and took the blow of justice we deserved, so we, like Jacob, only receive the wounds of grace to wake us up and discipline us.
Jesus is the true and better Joseph who, at the right hand of the king, forgives those who betrayed and sold him and uses his new power to save them.
Jesus is the true and better Moses who stands in the gap between the people and the Lord and who mediates a new covenant.
Jesus is the true and better Rock of Moses who, struck with the rod of God’s justice, now gives us water in the desert.
Jesus is the true and better Job, the truly innocent sufferer, who then intercedes for and saves his stupid friends.
Jesus is the true and better David whose victory becomes his people’s victory, though they never lifted a stone to accomplish it themselves.
Jesus is the true and better Esther who didn’t just risk leaving an earthly palace but lost the ultimate and heavenly one, who didn’t just risk his life, but gave his life to save his people.
Jesus is the true and better Jonah who was cast out into the storm so that we could be brought in.
Jesus is the real Rock of Moses, the real Passover Lamb, innocent, perfect, helpless, slain so the angel of death will pass over us. He’s the true temple, the true prophet, the true priest, the true king, the true sacrifice, the true lamb, the true light, the true bread.
The Bible’s really not about you—it’s about him."

The Power of A Mother's Love
Mother’s come in all sizes and ages. Some of us had young mothers, some had older mothers. Some of us had petite mom’s some had larger moms. Regardless of the age or size of our Mom’s, I know something all Mom’s have in common. When push comes to shove, when the gates of hell open up, when the world falls apart, there is nothing stronger than a mother’s love for her children. Sorry Dad’s. You don’t come close.
A mother’s love for her children is one of the strongest forces in this world. I believe it is so strong because it is chiseled directly from the heart of God!
What makes God’s Love so powerful, and what makes a mother’s love so powerful, is a special bond!
A Mother bonds with her child through countless hours, countless feedings. This is her baby, her child. God’s love is so powerful because of His relationship to those He loves. God had a special relationship with His people, the Jews. It was a covenant relationship. It made the Jews special, beloved to Him. His love for them was different than His love for the gentiles because of that Covenant Relationship. Through Jesus Christ, we have a New Covenant Relationship with God. We are born again and become children of God. We enter into a new and special relationship with God. He has a special Love for His children. Just as a Mother has a special love for her own children, so does God have a special love with His children.
THE POWER OF LOVE IS BECAUSE OF THE RELATIONSHIP!
Just like you don’t pull on superman’s cape, your don’t spit into the wind, you don’t pull the mask off the old lone ranger and you don’t mess around with a Mom and her children.
Fremont, CA (KPIX) - A Fremont, California woman is recovering from severe injuries to her arms after a pit bull terrier attacked her in her own garage, forcing her to stash her baby in a garbage can for protection.
Thirty-two-year-old Angela Silva received 50 staples and countless stitches as a result of Tuesday's attack.
Silva says her neighbor's dog wandered into her open garage and lunged at her and her four-month-old son.
After she put the child in a plastic garbage bin, the 80-pound pit bull terrier, "Swisher", continued pursuing the baby and knocked over the bin as Silva fought the animal off with her arms. Two men across the street eventually came to her aid and chased away the dog.
"My flesh was flying off of my arms," she says. "I just don't think that I would have been able to stand up any longer."
Mighty Pharaoh tried to kill the Jewish babies.
The Jewish Mom’s were so tough they were having the babies one day and out working in the field the next, their babies hidden away. One Mom was bold enough to make a basket of reeds and then waterproof it, and then put her baby Moses in it to float downstream. Mom’s do amazing things because of their love for their children.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NASB) Thus says the Lord, "Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the Lord.
This morning we need to understand Three things that God Delights in, and once we understand these, we can better understand the power of a Mother’s Love. But first, let me ask you a couple of questions that this verse brings up…
1. What Do You Boast About?
let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me
You may be smart, you may have wealth, but God says that doesn’t matter. If you are going to boast in anything, boast in knowing and understanding God. That requires growing relationship with Him. That requires an intimacy with God such that any time you pick up His Word you are immediately overwhelmed with a flash from God!
Like the TV series Chuck, who has the Intersect in his brain. Whenever he sees someone or something that is in the Super Spy data base, he flashes on it and all this information comes to his mind. He always gets overwhelmed for just a bit when he “flashes” on the information.
Do you have that kind of relationship with God? Do you boast to your friends that you have such a special relationship?
I know that our world has become so infected with sin that homes and families are fractured and tormented. Not everyone has a wonderful mom who loved them and nurtured them. Our Mom’s may be flawed in several ways, but there is always something you can boast in about your mom. It may be her cooking, her crafts, her drive, her protection, her prayers, her drive. Dig deep and find something to boast in about your Mom. Boast about her to your children, and even your grandchildren. Honor her. She gave you life.
We honor God because He gave us life. If we are to boast, boast in God, in that you know Him and understand Him.
