It Gets Better: Pearson's people
People at Pearson, Penguin, and the FT have joined forces to create a corporate 'It Gets Better' video, supported by Pearson plc and our Director for People. The It Gets Better Campaign was set up by Penguin Group (USA) author and columnist Dan Savage and his partner, Terry Miller, to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) teenagers. It all started with a video that Dan and Terry posted on YouTube to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives can reach - if they can just get through their teen years.
