The acts will take to the stage at Frankfurt's Festhalle in Germany on November 11 and join a lineup that already includes Taylor Swift, No Doubt, Rita Ora, Carly Rae Jepsen and fun.
"It is so good to be back at the MTV EMAs," said Alicia Keys. "I'm crazy excited to share music from my new album Girl On Fire with the world.
"I feel such a powerful energy around me when I'm performing, especially on a night like the EMA. It's electric! I also get to be inspired by all of the other incredible artists."
South Korean sensation Psy - who has topped charts globally with 'Gangnam Style' - added: "Since this is my first time to not only be nominated for an international award but perform in front of a worldwide audience, I am excited to give up my international virginity to the MTV EMA!"
The 2012 MTV EMAs will broadcast live on MTV from 9pm (CET) on Sunday, November 11.
