Eileen Dunne
Eileen Dunne (born 22 June 1958) is an Irish newscaster and radio presenter, known as a television and radio newsreader with RTÉ. She is currently the sole anchor of RTÉ's flagship Nine O'Clock News and presents afternoon bulletins for RTÉ Radio 1.
Dunne was born in Dublin. She studied Arts at University College Dublin before joining RTÉ in 1980 as a staff announcer. She began presenting television news bulletins in 1984.
In addition to her news work, Dunne also presents the religious affairs programme The God Slot for RTE Radio 1 on Friday nights, having previously presented Eileen Dunne's Classic Melodies for RTÉ lyric fm until 2010. She is the International President of the Association of European Journalists.

The Annual event is held every Christmas in St Patrick's College, Maynooth, Co Kildare as a remembrance service for those lost to suicide in Ireland. The service is also held in numerous locations around the country. RTÉ journalist, newsreader and presenter Eileen Dunne will join us as this week's 120 Dublin Stories guest. Eileen will reflect on her experiences working on the Six One News and Nine O'Clock News. We will also speak about topics including Irish media and what goes into the behind the scenes reality of making the news. Plus her own personal experience of growing up in Dublin and reporting on key moments such as the Good Friday Agreement, and key State Visits.

Eileen Dunne
Eileen Dunne (born 22 June 1958) is an Irish newscaster and radio presenter, known as a television and radio newsreader with RTÉ. She is currently the sole anchor of RTÉ's flagship Nine O'Clock News and presents afternoon bulletins for RTÉ Radio 1.
Dunne was born in Dublin. She studied Arts at University College Dublin before joining RTÉ in 1980 as a staff announcer. She began presenting television news bulletins in 1984.
In addition to her news work, Dunne also presents the religious affairs programme The God Slot for RTE Radio 1 on Friday nights, having previously presented Eileen Dunne's Classic Melodies for RTÉ lyric fm until 2010. She is the International President of the Association of European Journalists.
