here's is the lovely downtown Waukesha, Wisconsin area. here i am walking from the Five Points area near Main Street and Grand Ave. towards the Fox River by the RiverWalk on Barstow Street. this City has really become a nice city to live in. it may not be Disney Land here, but it's home. there's so much to see and do. lots of shops to grab a bit or buy that new couch or outfit at. or maybe play jokes on someone if you stop by the Joke Shop and bought some funny gags. the RiverWalk area is really nice. i love visiting the river. you'll see a Discount liquor store, i like that place. yes it's mainly for adults due to beer, wine and other alcohol reasons, but you can bring your kids too, to get sodas, water or other snacks. it's a nice place to get your snacks and drink supplies to have while you're watching the GreenBay Packers beat the Bears, or go on to win another Super Bowl. you'll see a lot of restaurants and a nice antique store. you'll find really nice things at the antique store. there's a lot of them through out the Downtown area. there's also a Panos fruit market, a real nice down to earth store for those who like shopping but are on a budget. they have nice fruits and vegetables and authentic Mexican foods to choose from. there's also a Panos market over on Sunset Drive. back to the riverwalk. it's a nice place to fish off the pier or just sit and relax. there's a water fountain that you can stick your feet in on a hot summer day like today (8/5/2011). the City ...

In my years of living in a handful of cities in southeastern Wisconsin, I've never experienced such a militarized city as we have in Waukesha WI. Our county owns a "Lenco Bearcat" armored tank which has a gun turret and I believe 6 gun ports so the police could shoot citizens with their machine guns. We have just as many issues pertaining to mental health as other cities only the pd pulls out all of theirs toys to ramp up the situations. During the past 500 years, since the invention of firearms, we've sent willing family members in to de-escalate situations. In Waukesha, the pd sends in the para-military troops to perpetuate standoff after standoff. In a small city such as this, we've had 5 or so in the past 12 months. Our police department has been essentially accused, by a sitting judge, of deleting a police beating video. Mark Schroeder was a 51 year old father with no criminal record who attempted to assess the injuries of his minor daughter during a severe accident. The cop decided to beat this man for doing so and Mark had to be hospitalized. They charged this victim and of course they were dismissed by the judge. Shortly thereafter one of the cops involved in the alleged coverup, Dennis Angle, was promoted to deputy chief. Scary stuff folks. A civil lawsuit is on its way. Please consider moving here to help pay for the civil lawsuits against the police. I must warn you that police may injure your children, to the point that they need holes drilled in their skulls ...

I was spending some time watching a para-military action by Waukesha police when some cop decided it was his business as to what I was doing outside the, "crime scene perimeter." There was a mental illness issue down the street and allegedly the man owned a gun. Why use common sense and compassion when you can use machine guns, battering rams, and aggression. Nobody was injured in this incident and of course the man didn't shoot anyone inside or outside the house. At least they didn't beat any innocent people like they did with Mark Schroeder in 2010 and then deleted the dash cam videos (requested as evidence) after watching them 20 some times. The SUV cop may want to take a refresher driving course. Hits the curb and cone in one shot. Perhaps a sobriety test was in order. Please Film police! Get them used to it and keep them in check. It was Friday, June 7, 2008 when storms hit Wisconsin with tornados touching down, lots of thunder and lightning. June 7, was the day it all started. it had rained since then for about four or five days straight. then came June 10th. with all the rain, the rivers couldn't hold anymore water, and they overflowed their banks. parts of Waukesha, Wisconsin and other parts of Wisconsin including neighboring states were flooded. here's my video of that fateful flooding. the video begins as what people would call, "the calm before the storm". this is my video from the four days the storms rolled in, to when the storms moved out and the rivers started rising really fast and within days, parts of downtown Waukesha, Wisconsin was flooded. i know people have had it worse then what you see here, but this was something i never seen in my own town. enjoy my video as you saw what i saw, and lived to tell you all this story. PS. i lost my shoes because of the floods. i walked through puddles, and days later, my shoes just tore to shreds. Not seen in this video, but Wisconsin Dells resort up north lost an entire resort and a whole lake. the floods up there swallowed up homes beyond repairable. Filmed June 7 - June 16, 2008 uploaded: Wednesday, May 8, 2012 i'll upload more videos from the flood in a few days.

this is Grand Avenue in Waukesha, Wisconsin. this spot has really changed over the past 25 years i've lived here. i moved here in 1985, and i've visited this area many times. in the beginning you'll see some dorms. they're owned by Carroll University, a local college here in Waukesha. this spot here is owned by the school. this spot at one time was home to a shopping center. there use to be frozen pizza place, 31 Flavors (aka Baskin-Robbins), Moyers Bakery. Moyers was the heart of the shopping center. when i was little, my Aunt worked there, and i would get free samples of cakes and doughnuts. oh such great memories there. the site and this block here has since been bought out by Carroll University. the field you see use to be homes. they bought them out too. you'll also see railroad crossing here. it's owned by Canadian National and Wisconsin Southern railroad. it use to be own by Wisconsin Central, Soo-Line, and once was part of Milwaukee and Madison railroad. you'll see a former train station turned restaurant. you'll also see a Taco John's. i love their food. Central Middle School, my brother went there. in the background you'll hear morning commuters, Friday morning tornado siren (runs May - Sept. every Friday morning at 9:30am). you'll also hear nice church music coming from St. Luke's Lutheran. then you'll see my destination stop, the Waukesha Public Library. i go here all the time. you can too. just make sure you have a valid and up to date library card. video was ...
