He later went on to meet Rear Admiral Grace Hopper but takes no credit for the development of COBOL. Later in life, to lend some credibility to his resume, he attended RPI in Troy NY. There, despite being warned, he drank the water before turning 18, and as such has never really left Troy. In his off-time (what's that he asks?) he spends time with his wife and two kids and also rescues poor stranded cavers out of caves. Despite rumors to the contrary, he does not have a thing against firewalls and flying. In fact he likes firewalls and likes to fly. He just doesn't like the blind faith some people put into firewalls without a real security policy in place. He also doesn't like the hassle associated with being crammed into a flying cylinder like cattle and prefers when possible to travel by the much more civilized method of rail.
