Tightest parallel parking record beaten at new Mini launch -- Guinness World Records
One of our most popular world records over recent years has been the hotly contested tightest parallel parking title. The record has changed hands five times in the past two years, with our video of German driving ace Ronny Wechselberger 's successful attempt last year becoming something of an internet sensation with viewing figures hitting the millions. When Patrik Folco neatly slid his way into a gap measuring just 22 cm (8.66 in) longer than the car he was driving last month it set a benchmark that looked unlikely to be broken. However, the record has indeed once again been smashed , this time by Chinese master wheelman Han Yue. Han last week managed to shave off an incredible 7cm from the record, drifting into a space of just 15 cm (5.91 in) longer than his vehicle during an attempt at the launch in Beijing of a new special edition of the Mini called The Chinese Job. Little Yue Yue tribute
On October 21, we lost a precious little life that left a world in mourning. Little Yue Yue, may you rest in peace far away from this ruthless cold world. My heart, along with so many others, has never been so broken. Never have I been so ashamed to be a part of the human race. On October 13, 2011, a 2 year old had wondered away from her parents shop in China as she was playing with her older brother. She was hit by a van that had stopped knowing what he had done. The driver chose to run over small Yue Yue again with the rear wheels. EIGHTEEN people passed this suffering baby with out lifting a warm hand or calling for help resulting in another van running over her legs. Finally after several minutes, the 19th person pulled her from harms way and yelled for help. Her mother, who had been searching for her baby, rushed to the sound of the womans calls for help where a nightmare unfolded. I will never understand the soulless people who ignored a suffering child in so much pain and how they can leave her on the cold hard ground to die.

Stretching and Basic Yue Jia San Shou 10 min vid
A small demo to show some ideas for stretching, strengthening the lower basin kua area and springing the waist. Followed by basic Yue Jia San Shou for understanding mechanics, body structure, qin-na and flow of both people. Yue Family style has a unique approach to controling and flowing, with heavy influences in usage of what today is considered internal/external arts. As always these skills and Qin na or chin na are tools in ones arsenal of tools. I hope everyone enjoys objectively.

"Plum Flower Deer" began in 2009. Originally intended as a piece for F5, a design festival in New York, but was never competed and was not screened there. The film grew and became a rumination about love, hope, the natural world and rebirth.
Crush art director, Yoho Hang Yue, and his wife Queenie, also an art director, developed the story about a pair of Plum Flower Deer, (native to parts of China), who are separated by an act of man but are rejoined in spirit. The Plum Flower Deer is one of the most auspicious, divine animals in Chinese culture. The Plum Flower Tree itself has been the subject of innumerable paintings and poems, representing courage and elegance. The film drew on Chinese tradition, and art. The film’s closing poem, by 12th century Southern Song Dynasty Chinese poet Lu You, tells of the rebirth of spring and the courage of the plum flower through winter.
“We wanted to bring this story to life using modern tools, but we wanted to keep the timelessness of the poem intact,” says Yoho Yang Yue. “It is an ageless story that draws on the rich legacy of Chinese culture.”
The film took two years to complete and to create it Yoho used After Effects, Cinema 4D and shot elements to create this moving painting. Crush contacted Didier Tovel at Apollo Studios in Toronto to create a score and sound design that captured the mood of the visuals. The score takes its cues from traditional Chinese music without falling becoming a shallow pastiche, and still maintains a contemporary feel.
