Elvis Presley’s Los Angeles Home for Sale, Complete With Graffiti

It’s a high price to pay for a graffiti-riddled four-bedroom house, but some well-off Elvis Presley fan may pony up the nearly $13 million asking price for the King’s former home in Beverly Hills.

The French regency estate, built in 1958 on a 1.18-acre promontory overlooking both the city and the Pacific Ocean, has hit the market. Elvis and Priscilla Presley once owned the home, but the couple sold it in 1973, the same year the couple divorced, reports the New York Daily News.

While it’s no Graceland, the gated, private home is still a pilgrimage site for devoted Presley fans, with one of its gates used as a whiteboard for Elvis-themed graffiti.

But it’s been nearly 40 years since Elvis last graced the home, and there have been some updates made to the four-bedroom, five-bath estate on North Hillcrest Road. The real estate listing says the home was recently remodeled and a new kitchen joins the resurfaced pool and spa area and upgraded electrical system.

Inside the 5,300-square-foot Trousdale Estates-area home, expect to find a formal living room with fireplace, dining room, family room, office and media room. Ample windows also showcase the views. And the master bedroom is said to have a gigantic closet.

If you have the $12.995 million to spend on a home in Beverly Hills, chances are you have a few friends who may want to visit, so the attached guesthouse may come in handy. If you don’t have anyone to visit, you can always just invite in one of the graffiti-writing fans that will certainly wander by.
