John Hart (baseball)
John Henry Hart (born July 21, 1948) is an American Major League Baseball executive. In addition, he is the former general manager of the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers; he currently serves as President of Baseball Operations for the Atlanta Braves. He also served as the interim manager of the Indians in 1989, and a studio analyst for the MLB Network.
Biography
Hart was born in Tampa, Florida. He attended Seminole Junior College where he was catcher on the baseball team. In 1969 he won All-American honors and began his professional career as a catcher in the Montreal Expos organization. He caught with them for three seasons before leaving the organization and returning to Florida. He graduated in 1973 from the University of Central Florida with majors in history and physical education.

Hart then coached high school baseball in the Orlando, Florida area before joining the Orioles organization in 1982 as a minor league manager. He managed in their minor league organization for six seasons before joining the major league team as third base coach in 1988.

Dr. John Hart (October 13, 1751 – April 27, 1836) was a highly respected and eminent surgeon originally from Ipswich, Massachusetts who served as a Regimental Surgeon during the American Revolution. Following the Battles of Lexington and Concord, he left his medical practice in Georgetown (now Bath) Maine to serve his newly forming country in his home state of Massachusetts.
His service began in 1775 as a member of Prescott's Regiment where he was present at the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Battle of Long Island. He served as its surgeon from May to August 1775. From there he was incorporated into the short-lived Massachusetts Seventh Continental Infantry (from to January to December 1776).
In January 1777, he was personally assigned to the newly formed Col Bailey's 2nd Massachusetts Regiment by Col Bailey himself (recreated today by the modern Col Bailey's 2nd Massachusetts Regiment). He remained the Regimental Surgeon to the 2nd Massachusetts Regiment for the duration of the war until it was disbanded in 1783. At which point he remained in the service of his country as a reserve surgeon to Col Henry Jackson's Regiment after the war.

John Philip Hart (born 22 January 1941) is a British former motorcycle speedway rider.
Born in Birmingham, John Hart is the son of former rider and Birmingham promoter Phil "Tiger" Hart. After initially racing stock cars from 1959, he began his speedway career in 1960 with Stoke Potters. Hart was the last to ride on Birmingham's Perry Barr track (at the Alexander Sports Stadium) before it closed to speedway in 1960. He moved to Cradley Heathens in 1961, the team that he would ride for in eight seasons over the course of his career. In 1962 he represented England against an Overseas team, and also represented a Provincial League select against the National League. When the British League started in 1965, Hart was a heat leader with the Heathens, averaging close to eight points per match. In 1966 he transferred to Sheffield Tigers, where he spent two seasons before moving to Leicester Lions for three seasons in which he only missed one match. In 1971 he returned to Cradley, but failed to repeat his earlier form over two seasons there and in 1973 dropped down to the Second Division with Birmingham Brummies, where was a consistent high scorer for three seasons before retiring in 1975.
