Saturn's Mysterious Moons (V1)
Watch this and other space videos at SpaceRip.com Make sure you see version 2 of this video. Some 900 million miles from the Sun,orbiting the planet Saturn, lies a mysterious world. Enceladus is enveloped in ice. Because nearly all of the sunlight that manages to hit its surface is reflected back into space, it's one of the brightest objects in the solar system. At its equator, the temperature is --315 degrees Fahrenheit. But, at the poles, the temperature is at least 15 degrees warmer... and as much as 65 degrees warmer in grooves that stretch across the south like tiger stripes. In 2005, the Cassini spacecraft spotted a complex plume of water vapor shooting out into space from several locations near the south pole. That may mean that Enceladus harbors a remarkable secret below its frigid surface A liquid ocean... and maybe... some forms of life. This discovery was the culmination of a search that began over three decades ago. Back in 1979, the outer planets of the solar system lined up in such a way that mission planners were able to dispatch the Voyager spacecraft to fly past each of them. The two Voyagers sent back tens of thousands of images... of planetary realms more diverse than anyone had imagined. These long-distance marathon flyers - both now headed out towards interstellar space - made discoveries about the planetary chemistry that make these gas giants appear to us as gigantic works of abstract art. The Voyagers disclosed new details about their magnetic ...

Alien Speech? Found in NASA's Saturn Radio Signal
www.tjmitchell.com Link to NASA File for Download.. saturn.jpl.nasa.gov I just wanted to thank everyone for their input..good and bad... I still have no idea yet what this is...I innocently raised it 12 tones and this is what appeared. I dont mean it to be 'scare-mungoring' its just to my mind (as a musician) it has definite patterns to the ear..whether speech, asteroids, magnetic waves, im not qualified to say, but all I know is...its an interesting pattern...JVD Important info - Please read: Speech patterns have been found in a radio signal released by NASA almost 3 years previously in 2004. Judge the sound for yourself, it is a very bizarre anomaly but very much worth investigating. Instructions: 1) Download and save the original WAV file from NASA/Cassini website: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov 2)Open an audio editor like Cool Edit or Sonar and raise the pitch/frequency of the file by 12 tones with the pitch shifter.. and there it is, speech patterns. How can anyone explain this anomaly. Certainly NASA have no explanation for it after we presented the file to them for their opinion. SETI also dont know what make of it. What do you think? White storm on Saturn through amateur telescope near 2011 opposition
The telescope used to make this Saturn video is a humble Celestron NexStar 5SE XLT, 5 inches (125mm) aperture over an alt-azimuth mount. Looking through the Celestron NexStar 5SE XLT there is a DSLR camera -a Canon EOS 450d (Rebel XSi)- for recording Saturn. The Cassini Division shown in this video is a 4800 km (2980 mile) void region inside Saturn's rings. It was discovered in 1675 by Giovanni Cassini. From Earth-based telescopes it appears as a thin black gap in the rings. This video is about what you can observe looking through a not expensive amateur telescope in your backyard. Someone asked me for a under 100US$ telescope, and here it is my advice: www.amazon.com Saturn, Rings, shadow, Cassini division, opposition, 2011, Telescope, Celestron NexStar 5SE XLT, Astronomy, Astrophotography, Astrophoto, Backyard, Canon EOS 450d, Rebel XSi, video, DSLR, Live video, SCT, Catadioptric, Space, Science, Solar system, Registax, stacking, wavelets

Saturn through a Telescope
Every wonder what Saturn looks like through a large amateur telescope? Well here it is, taken with a TouCam webcam, 3x barlow through a Celestron C9.25". The shimmering in the image is due to atmospheric turbulence. To keep the planet centered at very high magnification, an equatorial mount was used with accurate polar alignment.

Saturn - sounds from space
Saturn On the 25 August 1981, the probe Voyager 2 approached the Saturn system. The probe is carrying different detectors : magnetometers, plasma detectors, low-energy charged particles detectors, cosmic rays detectors, radiowaves receivers. Recordings were made. Interractions of the solar wind with planet's magnetosphere, magnetosphere itself, electromagnetic fields, charged particles emissions, charged particle interactions of the planet, its moons, and the solar wind. All this electromagnetic phenomenons can be transformed into electric signals, which can in turn be amplified and used to excite the membrane of a loud speaker ; thus making audible to the human ear the rustling of the cosmos. All these sounds were recorded while Voyager 2 was passing near Saturn, and assembled without manipulation. Holst- Saturn, The Bringer of Old Age- The Planets Suite
English composer Gustav Holst composed The Planets between 1914 and 1916. The Birmingham premiere of the suite took place in 1918, fifteen years before Pluto was discovered. Though the Planets became by far the most popular work of Holst's and one of the most known pieces by an English-born composer, Holst did not consider the piece one of his finest. Partially because of this, he never wrote an eighth movement, though unexpectedly the IAU relegated Pluto from its status as planet proper in 2006.

Saturn I Launch SA-4 1963 NASA color 3min
video for embedding at scitech.quickfound.net The launch of Saturn 1 SA-4 on March 28, 1963, from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 34. Wikipedia: "SA-4 was the last flight to test only the SI first stage of the Saturn I rocket. As with the first three launches this would be a suborbital flight and would test the structural integrity of the rocket. "The major addition to this flight was that, in order to test the rocket's ability to deal with an engine failure during the flight, one of the engines would be programmed to shut down about 100 seconds after launch. If all went well the rocket would reroute the fuel for this engine to the other engines and have the rocket burn longer to compensate for the loss of acceleration. This was used successfully on the later Apollo 6 and Apollo 13 flights. "Also on this flight, the dummy second stage was outfitted with the aerodynamic design of the real second stage. This included vent ducts, fairings and dummy camera pods. The rocket also flew with antennae designed for the Block II version of the rocket. "After the shortest checkout time of any rocket at 54 days,[citation needed] SA-4 went on to experience the longest series of holds of any mission at 120 minutes.[citation needed] The SA-4 launch would be the final single-stage flight. "The rocket operated perfectly through the first 100 seconds of the flight, when the Number 5 engine shut off as planned. The rocket then continued to operate properly, the propellant system rerouting the ...

Saturn's Rings after Equinox - Larry Esposito (SETI Talks)
SETI Talks archive: seti.org Saturn's Equinox 2009: Oblique lighting exposed vertical structure and embedded objects. The rings were the coldest ever. Dr. Esposito will show how images inspired new occultation and spectral analysis that show abundant structure in the perturbed regions. The rings are more variable and complex than we had expected prior to this seasonal viewing geometry.

Is Saturn The Punisher ? -- Sade Sati
www.astroved.com Astroved Youtube Channel: www.youtube.com More:www.youtube.com Saturn is a very powerful planet both in western Astrology and in Vedic Astrology. He is generally considered to be a punisher and as a malefic planet when it is only looking at Saturn in a negative perspective. He is a great teacher, unless you are given hardships in your life you are not going to learn. If life is very smooth, is like a bed of roses then no body is going to even reflect on what is life. They will lie down on the beach with the beer bottle or something and then spend time and that's what happening! Most of the wealthy people will never even think about it. But, Saturn gives an opportunity for the soul to evolve putting you through hardships. It is true that during the Saturn period everyone suffers! There are 2 types of things or the 2 divisions of time that you need to be aware of Saturn. One is the Saturn Dasa, The saturn dasa, is a long period of 19 or 20 years. It will be a troublesome period where you will have to go through the life's greatest difficulties. Next is the seven and a half years of Saturn. Saturn stays for two and a half years in each zodiac. It will be the time of suffering but also a period of great learning. And once you are out of it, then you will be prepared for a good life. Going through the seven and a half periods of time or the Saturn Dasa will need help because it will be a really hard time. There are remedies for this like:- Observe the Saturn ...
