Shanghai's difficult corners and long straights mean that a car must be perfectly balanced in order to achieve a fast lap time. even with a perfect set-up, cars are prone to understeer heavily; this can cause the front tyres to become worn at an increased rate. please like and subscribe it helps alot gameplay of F1 2012 with mods be sure to subscribe and thumbs up this video MODS THAT I AM RUNNING: (True to Life AI 3.2) SEE BELOW TO SEE EFFECTS OF THIS MOD •The AI is dramatically improved and highly aggressive. Blocking is notably improved, as is overtaking. •The AI brakes later making it harder to overtake (thanks to hill's Competitive Braking Mod, with a few tweaks of my own). "Problem corners" such as turn 1 at Shanghai have been corrected or at least improved if no solution is possible. •The AI & Player have more realistic top speed at each track (thanks to Johnny Dangerously's CTF files). •DRS boost for the AI has been increased to match that of the Player. Drafting effect is also reduced thanks to Johnny's CTF files. •The AI has 5% more grip overall, so each difficulty level is faster. As well, the performance gap between difficulty levels has been reduced. •The "competition gap" between the Player and AI is drastically reduced. What this means is that you probably won't win races with a Force India or a Williams, and you're going to have to work hard to qualify first in a McLaren, for example. As well, you will see mid-field racers popping into the top 10 more frequently (such as Sauber, Torro Rosso, and Force India). •Damage sensitivity has been improved. Your car will feel more fragile and if you drive too hard, you will wear out your engine or gearbox more quickly. Radiators and exhaust can now also be damaged, and there is now a more realistic chance of mix 3, KERS, and DRS failing. Random flat tires will occur slightly more frequently throughout a race as well, rather than never. •How the drivers act and perform is no longer controlled by "global modifiers" for each difficulty level, but is now individually controlled per driver (this is done in the database, see below). This means each driver controls their own individual mechanical failure rate, good & bad day chance, mistake rate, and speed without any consideration to which difficulty level you're on. Each driver now has between a 10-50% chance of a mechanical failure. •Tire longevity and compounds have been adjusted to reflect the 2013 season, as well as the corrected hard compound longevity change which came in late April. •Scaled tyre wear for 50% and 100% distance races. •Should a sizable crash occur, you will see the safety car come out, thanks to the Safety Car Fix mod - see below for the authors of this mod. Please note that if it is before lap 4, or 3 laps from the end of the race, the Safety Car will not come out...this cannot be changed unfortunately as it is hard coded within the exe. (F1 2012 Realism Enhancer 1.3) SEE BELOW TO SEE EFFECTS OF THIS MOD •Realistic AI Behavior •Rebalanced AI drivers to get real life performance. •AI overtake a lot more •AI brakes later & has more cornering speed •More mistakes from the AI •More technical problems from the AI [some cars may retire due to brake problems, engine problems & etc] •HRT will have more technical problems than Ferrari. McLaren (especially Hamilton) have a high chance of a technical problem too. •Sometimes AI make mistakes. For example they may lock up. The biggest chance for a mistake is when they are under pressure from someone. •AI isn't scared to go off the racing line. Altho, I've limited it because they were cutting corners and overtaking on the outside, from the grass. •A lot better behavior under blue flags. •AI cars disappear later (in the distance - if they crash & have to retire) •Realistic Top Speed (for both Player & AI) •Realistic acceleration (1st to 4th gear - higher / 7th gear - slower) •Lowered downforce levels (You won't feel ANY difference - the car handle the same & the grip is the same. Laptimes are lower tho) •Realistic DRS boost •More realistic braking points •Lowered slipstream effect •Team will need from 1 minute and a half to 15 mins to fix your KERS failiure. •KERS Failure chance lowered by 50% (I had 2xKERS fails for 1 race and decreased it.) •DRS Failure chance lowered to 10% (was 40%) •High Engine Mixture fail lowered to 5% (didn't really know such things can fail in a real F1 car) •You can get gearbox problems (was disabled, dunno why). •You can get Radiator problems. If you damage it, your engine will start to overheat a little bit. •You can damage your exhausts if you crash. This may lower your power. •You can damage your suspension. •If you damage your brakes more than 15% they MAY get up to 10% less effective. •Engine is wearing out more.
