A police operation to identify graffiti vandals by showing photographs of persons of interest to the public at the Royal Show has yielded results after a man handed himself in.

Operation Eraser Five saw police displaying photos at the Royal Show as well a publishing them in newspapers.

A 24-year-old Bayswater handed himself in yesterday and was charged with criminal damage.

It is alleged the man went to the McIver railway station on May 30 this year at 11:30pm and damaged the underpass wall with blue spray paint.
