Anton "Tony" Hulman, Jr. (February 11, 1901 - October 27, 1977) was a businessman from Terre Haute, Indiana who rescued the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1945 and made the Indianapolis 500 popular.

Anton Hulman was born in 1901 in Terre Haute. He was educated at St. Benedict's School at Terre Haute, Lawrenceville School in New Jersey and Worcester Academy in Massachusetts. Tony participated in the high hurdles and the pole vault at Worcester.

He served with the American Red Cross Ambulance Corps during World War I at the age of 17.

Upon graduation from Yale's Sheffield Scientific School in 1924, Hulman returned to Terre Haute to work in the family business. His father, Anton Hulman, Sr., instructed the people of Hulman & Co., "Don't give Tony a place in the business. Let him work for it."

By 1926, Tony was the company's sales manager, and by 1931, at the age of 30, management of the whole company passed from father to son.

Tony's first project was the Clabber Girl ad campaign, which he instigated as a ten-year plan to take the company's top product to national prominence. Salesmen crisscrossed the country, nailing signs to roadside posts and going to individual homes across the country, invariably inviting the lady of each house to try Clabber Girl. Tony's efforts were successful in increasing the sales of Clabber Girl greatly.^{[citation needed]}

Brady Bacon (born January 26, 1990 in Broken Arrow, OK) is an American racecar driver. He currently drives in the USAC Sprint Car Series for Kasey Kahne and is a developmental driver for Chip Ganassi Racing.

Bacon is a third generation driver who started racing at the age of 4 and moved his way up the ranks. In 2005, Bacon was the National Modified Midget Association Nationals Champion and earned Rookie Of The Year honors in the OCRS and SMRS. He was runner-up at the Knoxville Midget Nationals that year and won the Cornhusker Midget Challenge.

Bacon debuted in the USAC National Midget Car Series in 2006, scoring two straight 2nd place finishes in his first two events and seven top 10 finishes total in 11 races. He also tallied six top 10 finishes in 10 USAC National Sprint Car events. That same year, he was the Southern Midget Racing Series champion and scored his first midget victory at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, IN. He signed with the Ganassi driver development program as well.

In 2007, Bacon was 4th in USAC National Sprint Car points and 8th in USAC National Midget points. He also finished fourth in Indiana Sprint Week and Indiana Midget Week points that year.

Rich Vogler (July 26, 1950, Chicago, Illinois – July 21, 1990, Salem, Indiana) was a champion sprint car and midget car driver. He was nicknamed "Rapid Rich". He competed in the Indianapolis 500 five times, his best finish was eighth in 1989.

Vogler was the National Alliance of Midget Auto Racing (NAMAR) midget champion in 1973. He won the midget car track championships at the Indianapolis Speedrome in 1984 and 1985. He won the Fireman Nationals midget car race at Angell Park Speedway in 1985. Vogler became the first driver to win the USAC Sprint Car and Midget championships in the same year (1980). He won USAC National Sprint Car Series championships in 1980 and 1989, USAC National Midget Series championships in 1978, 1980, 1983, 1986, and 1988.

He won numerous major national events: the Hut Hundred eight times, the 4-Crown Nationals midget car event four times, the Copper Classic twice, the Hoosierdome Invitational twice, the WWRA Florida Winter Nationals in 1983, and the Night Before the 500 once. In 1987 he won the inaugural Chili Bowl Midget Nationals race. .
