Frank Anthony Bruni (born October 31, 1964) is an American journalist. He was the chief restaurant critic of The New York Times, a position he held from 2004 to 2009. In May 2011, he became the first openly gay Op-Ed columnist of The New York Times.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986 with a B.A. in English. He was a Morehead Scholar and on the staff of the student paper, The Daily Tar Heel. Bruni graduated second in his class with an M.S. degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. At Columbia he also won a Pulitzer Traveling Fellowship.

From 1990 to 1995 he worked for the Detroit Free Press in an assortment of positions including covering the Persian Gulf War. In 1995, Bruni joined The New York Times as a metropolitan reporter and often wrote for the New York Times magazine and for Sunday Arts. He was promoted to the Rome bureau chief (July 2002–March 2004) and worked as a reporter in the Washington, D.C., bureau (December 1998–May 2002). While in D.C., Bruni was assigned to cover Capitol Hill, Congress, Governor George W. Bush's presidential campaign, and the White House. His book Ambling into History chronicles this assignment.

Charles Peete "Charlie" Rose, Jr. (born January 5, 1942) is an American television talk show host and journalist. Since 1991 he has hosted Charlie Rose, an interview show distributed nationally by PBS since 1993. He has also co-anchored CBS This Morning since January 2012. Rose, along with Lara Logan, has hosted the revived CBS classic Person to Person, a news program during which celebrities are interviewed in their homes, originally hosted from 1953 to 1961 by Edward R. Murrow.

Rose was born in Henderson, North Carolina, the only child of Margaret Frazier and Charles Peete Rose, Sr., tobacco farmers who owned a country store. As a child, Rose lived above his parents' store in Henderson and helped out with the family business from age seven. Rose admitted in a Fresh Dialogues interview that as a child his insatiable curiosity was constantly getting him in trouble. A high school basketball star, Rose entered Duke University intending to pursue a degree with a pre-med track, but an internship in the office of Democratic North Carolina Senator B. Everett Jordan got him interested in politics. Rose graduated in 1964 with a bachelor's degree in history. At Duke, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity. He earned a Juris Doctor from the Duke University School of Law in 1968. He met his wife, Mary (née King), while attending Duke.

Éric Ripert (rih-pair) (born 1965 in Antibes) is a French chef, author and television personality specializing in modern French cuisine and renowned for his work with seafood.

Ripert's flagship restaurant, Le Bernardin, located in New York City, has been ranked among the best restaurants in the world by culinary magazines and S. Pellegrino's annual "Worlds 50 Best Restaurants" list. It holds the maximum ratings of four stars from The New York Times and three stars from the Michelin Guide.

Eric Ripert was born in France and learned to cook at a young age from his grandmother. When he was young, his family moved to Andorra, where he was raised. He later returned to France and attended culinary school in Perpignan.

At the age of 17 in 1982 he moved to Paris where he worked for two years at La Tour d'Argent, a famous restaurant more than 400 years old. Ripert next worked at Jamin under Joël Robuchon and was soon promoted to Assistant Chef de Partie. In 1985 Ripert left to fulfill his military service, after which he returned to Jamin as Chef Poissonier.

Alan Richman is an American journalist and food writer. He is perhaps best known as a food correspondent for GQ magazine, and has won 14 James Beard Foundation Award for journalism .

Richman is a graduate of the General Honors Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a cadet in the Army ROTC, and further progressed to serve in the United States Army, including a tour in Vietnam for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. He also toured in the Dominican Republic.

Richman began his career as a sportswriter in Philadelphia in the 1970s, covering the 76ers for the Philadelphia Daily News. He began writing for GQ in 1986.

Richman has won 14 James Beard Foundation Journalism Awards for excellence in culinary writing, including two in 2009 for Magazine Feature Writing Without Recipes and Writing on Spirits, Wine, or Beer. He won a National Magazine Award in 1995 for three articles that appeared in GQ.

In 2004, HarperCollins published Fork It Over: The Intrepid Adventures of a Professional Eater, a collection of Richman's essays about food and dining.

Michael "Mike" Colameco is the host of "Mike Colameco's Real Food" which airs Saturdays at 6pm on PBS WNET Channel 13 in the NY area and the syndicated "Food Talk" on WOR710 Radio. He is the author of "Mike Colameco's Food Lover's Guide to New York City."

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended the Culinary Institute of America. He has worked as a chef in numerous NYC Restaurants including such legends as "Tavern on the Green" and "Windows on the World'. After working in various restaurants he purchased a cafe in Maplewood, New Jersey. He then relocated to the southernmost tip of New Jersey and opened a restaurant in Cape May, New Jersey which he ran for several years. He eventually took over hosting duties of the WOR710 Radio Food Show of Arthur Schwartz. The show which was produced in the radio station's New York City studio was cut back to Sunday only after Glenn Beck was added to WOR radio.

He resides in Cape May, New Jersey with his wife, Heijung Park-Colameco, a real estate agent and native of South Korea. The couple has two sons.
