Lady Lyra manages to get the settlement of Amul to rebel, whilst Diodotos waits for the perfect moment to strike. On the diplomatic side of things, Bactria gains military access with the Arachosia and also trade and a non-aggression pact with the Aria, giving a nice buffer to the Bactrian lands.

This is part 5 of my Total War: Rome II Emperor Edition campaign, where we are playing as Arachosia, faction which location is far east of the campaign map. In this let's play we wll try to unite the whole area of the Greater Iran, which refers to the regions of West, Central and South Asia that have significant Iranian cultural influence due to having been long historically ruled by the various Iranian and Persian empires (such as those of the Achaemenids, Parthians, Sassanians etc.) having considerable aspects of Persian culture in their own culture due to extensive contact with the various Empires based in Persia.
We will use Arachosia in this campaign, because Arachosia has a very good starting position in the far east of the campaign map, like Baktria. This gameplay is for everyone, who wants to see some other factions let's plays, not just only those one, which are playable from DLC.
In this campaign we'll use mods and unit packs, which add a lot of new units for Rome 2 factions. Playable and nonplayable. The campaign will be full of massive battles, and this is of course Grand Campaign not Imperator Augustus campaign or Hannibal at the Gates, Caesar in Gaul and Wrath of Sparta.

What is Total War: Rome II?
Rome 2 is a strategy game developed by The Creative Assembly and successor to, obviously, the original Rome: Total War. The game suffered from severe problems upon release but still managed to surpass the commercial success of all other games in the Total War series. The gameplay follows a turn-based system while playing on the campaign map and a real-time system while playing on the battle maps. New additions in the game include stances such as force march or defensive which modify an army or navies bonuses at the cost of movement, mixed land and sea battles, and a political system that I frankly don't understand. Unlike previous games armies or navies cannot be raised without a general and the game has a maximum concurrent armies/navies based upon the players' size and power. A fairly unneeded system given the game inherintly limits you economically due to the high cost of raising and maintaining large armies.

Official description for Massilia faction:
The Greeks formed their colony at Massilia around 600BC. Coming from Phocaea, they intended to harvest the region’s resources, and conduct trade from Massilia’s natural harbour.
By the beginning of the 4th century BC, the former trading post had blossomed into one of the busiest ports in the Mediterranean, its tendrils even reaching up into Gaul along the Rhone and Durance rivers. Massilia is run as an oligarchy, an assembly headed by noble families. The population are a hybrid of Greek settlers, Gallic locals and others pulled to the city by trade.
Despite a level of cultural integration, some Gallic tribes still see the city as a prize. Carthage, too, wants to control or destroy their trading rival. Both want Massilia’s great wealth for themselves, and will stop at nothing to take it.
Massilia is a state of skilled traders and eloquent diplomats, but being somewhat conservative, the populace is less tolerant of foreign cultures within its boundaries. In battle, her warriors demonstrate a blend of Gallic and Greek martial techniques and armaments.

Hello everybody, and welcome to my Let's Play of one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2013 - Total War: Rome II! In this playthrough, we will be playing as Ptolemaic Egypt - can we conquer Africa, Arabia and Asia Minor, as well as reunify Alexander's once great empire? Only one way to find out!
Total War: Rome II is a strategy game developed by The Creative Assembly and published by Sega, released on 3 September 2013 for Microsoft Windows. The eighth standalone game in the Total War series of video games, Rome II is a successor to the 2004 game Rome: Total War.
A Diadochi kingdom like Macedon, Ptolemaic Egypt has preserved many of its ancient traditions in addition to the Hellenistic influence in its culture. The Egyptians are an awe-inspiring civilization: they continue to build great monuments and temples in the image of both the Hellenic gods and goddesses as well as their own. The upper class has taken influences from both the Greek and Egyptian cultures, a fact which has given birth to a unique Greco-Egyptian culture. But most of all, it is the Greek way of life that is held in high regard throughout the Ptolemaic Kingdom and Greek citizens enjoy privileges native Egyptians do not, a fact that has caused many a revolt and mutiny among the lower classes. The Pharaohs trust in the use of formations of spearmen, much like Alexander the Great did. To provide support and flanking attacks, Ptolemaic Egypt also has more exotic units to call upon; swordsmen trained in the traditional Egyptian fighting style, scythed chariots and war elephants like its rival, The Seleucid Empire. With their vast armies and riches, the Ptolemaic Pharaohs look forward to expanding their nation, be it in the east towards the crumbling Seleucid Empire or to the west, where the city-state of Carthage lies.
On August 23, 2013 Total War: Rome II had achieved seven times the number of preorders of that of Total War: Shogun 2, making it the most preordered game in Total War history.

This is part 5 of my Total War: Rome II Emperor Edition campaign, where we are playing as Arachosia, faction which location is far east of the campaign map. In this let's play we wll try to unite the whole area of the Greater Iran, which refers to the regions of West, Central and South Asia that have significant Iranian cultural influence due to having been long historically ruled by the various Iranian and Persian empires (such as those of the Achaemenids, Parthians, Sassanians etc.) having considerable aspects of Persian culture in their own culture due to extensive contact with the various Empires based in Persia.
We will use Arachosia in this campaign, because Arachosia has a very good starting position in the far east of the campaign map, like Baktria. This gameplay is for everyone, who wants to see some other factions let's plays, not just only those one, which are playable from DLC.
In this campaign we'll use mods and unit packs, which add a lot of new units for Rome 2 factions. Playable and nonplayable. The campaign will be full of massive battles, and this is of course Grand Campaign not Imperator Augustus campaign or Hannibal at the Gates, Caesar in Gaul and Wrath of Sparta.

What is Total War: Rome II?
Rome 2 is a strategy game developed by The Creative Assembly and successor to, obviously, the original Rome: Total War. The game suffered from severe problems upon release but still managed to surpass the commercial success of all other games in the Total War series. The gameplay follows a turn-based system while playing on the campaign map and a real-time system while playing on the battle maps. New additions in the game include stances such as force march or defensive which modify an army or navies bonuses at the cost of movement, mixed land and sea battles, and a political system that I frankly don't understand. Unlike previous games armies or navies cannot be raised without a general and the game has a maximum concurrent armies/navies based upon the players' size and power. A fairly unneeded system given the game inherintly limits you economically due to the high cost of raising and maintaining large armies.
