Tribute to David Niven
This is a small tribute to one of the sexiest men in Hollywood. He was brittish, of course. And he looked like that. He was a gentleman. A cute one. I´ve took a couple of movie pics, added a dash of music... and voilá. I´ve used these movies´s pics: Ask Any Girl (1959) Please, Don´t Eat the Daisies (1960) Bachelor Mother (1939) Happy Go Lovely (1951) Around The World in 80 Days (1956) For David Niven Fans... those ones are a MUST. Of course, some are pretty silly (like Happy Go Lovely), but it´s worth watch Niven. Who´s better to play "David Niven" than David Niven? :-)

The Ring, Toni and David's Engagement
Well, I just happened to be at a restaurant one night filming a sunset and lo and behold, in walks in friends of mine, I walked over to say hi and what a coincidence it was to see them all there.
What was even more incredible was that Toni and David were standing on the beach together so I just so happened to start filming and all of the sudden without my knowledge he begins to propose to the love of his life. Imagine that.
Well Toni starts bouncing up and town almost turning flips, then the police sirens start and I begin to wonder if this was all just a plan David had all along.
Anyway, she said yes, it took her a while between the bounces but it finally came out of her mouth.
Congratulations Toni and David on your engagement.
Love,
Frazier

King, Queen, Knave (1972) complete; Gina Lollobrigida, David Niven
Admirers of Jerzy Skolimowski's classic Deep End (1970) will be interested in his follow-up King, Queen, Knave (1972), especially as it stars John Moulder-Brown in a similar ham-fisted young jack-the-lad type role. Unfortunately it turns out to be a highly unsatisfactory mess, but still has its points of interest, such as Moulder-Brown's unsubtle but hilarious clowning during the opening. The film is an adaptation of a Vladimir Nabokov novel. German department store magnate Charles Dreyer (David Niven) experiments with the idea of making his nephew Frank (John Moulder-Brown) his heir. But the sexual predations of his wife Martha (Gina Lollobrigida) on the naive boy put this plan in jeopardy...
