พระไวโรจนพุทธะ เป็นพระธยานิพุทธะ 1 ใน 5 องค์ ของนิกายวัชรยาน ทรงเป็นประธานของพระพุทธะทั้ง 5 หมายถึงปัญญาอันสูงสุด ตราประจำพระองค์เป็นธรรมจักร หมายถึง ความเป็นหนึ่ง พระกายเป็นแสงสว่าง มักแทนด้วยสีขาว ตำแหน่งในพุทธมณฑลจะอยู่ตรงกลางโดยมีพุทธะอีก 4 องค์ห้อมล้อม พระโพธิสัตว์ในกลุ่มของท่านที่สำคัญมี 2 องค์ คือ พระสมันตภัทรโพธิสัตว์ และพระมัญชุศรีโพธิสัตว์
พระองค์ได้รับการเคารพนับถือจากชาวพุทธทั้งในตะวันออกไกล เนปาล ทิเบต และชวา ชาวพุทธจำนวนมากยกย่องให้เป็นอาทิพุทธะหรือพระพุทธเจ้าองค์ปฐม ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับพระไวโรนะพุทธะปรากฏตั้งแต่ครั้งยุคมหายานและจรยาตันตระ พระสูตรที่กล่าวถึงพระองค์มีหลายฉบับเช่น

Vairocana Buddha is sometimes called the primordial Buddha or supreme Buddha. He represents the wisdom of shunyata, "Emptiness." He is considered a personification of the Dharmakaya, Everything, unmanifested, free of characteristics and distinctions. When the Dhyani Buddhas are pictured together in a mandala, Vairocana is at the center.
Vairocana is white, representing all colors, and his symbol is the Dharma wheel. His hand mudra represents the turning of the wheel. He is associated with the first skandha, form.
Meditation on Vairocana vanquishes ignorance.

Vairocana Mantra meaning:
May all sentient beings have happiness and its causes,
May all sentient beings be free of suffering and its causes,
May all sentient beings never be separated from bliss without suffering,
May all sentient beings be in equanimity, free of bias, attachment and anger.
This mantra is also called „Great Initiation Light of Infallible Lasso Buddha Vairocana Dharani”, originated from the Sutra of the Mantra of the Unfailing Rope Snare of the Buddha Vairocana’s Great Baptism (or Amoghapasakalparaja Sutra).
Vairocana Buddha represent the totality of mental and physical creation, in this dynamic whole, each element is linked to others. He is also viewed as the embodiment of the Buddhist concept of emptiness or shunyata.
In the syllables of this healing mantra is the entire power of the omnipresent Buddha Vairocana. When we chant this mantra with a sincere heart, the Light of Vairocana Buddha embrace us.
This dharani (is a long mantra) is used in Tendai, Shingon, and Zen spiritual traditions, in China, Tibet, Japan and Korea.
According to the Dharma, by chanting and offering of the Mantra and Sutra, perfect and excellent merits could be acquired. As mentioned in the Amoghapasakalparaja Sutra: „any of the 10 evil actions, 5 gravest transgressions and 4 heavy sins which one committed in the past, will be eliminated. If a sentient being, hears this Great Initiation Light Dharani anywhere, 2, 3 or 7 times, all bad karmas will be completely removed.
… by the blessing of the extraordinary power of all Infallible Buddhas’ and Infallible Vairocana Buddha’s true vows of the Great Initiation Light Dharani, instantaneously, one’s path will be brighten, the effect from the bad karma will be dissolved and to be liberated from the existence of sufferings, will reborn into the Western Pure Land from a Lotus flower till attaining the state Enlightenment, and never be degenerated to the undesirable states.”
The Vairocana statue in Nara’s Todai-ji in Japan was the biggest bronze image of Vairocana Buddha in the world. The larger of the monumental statues that were shattered at Bamyan, the capital of Afghanistan, was also a depiction of Vairocana.

✿⊱╮I.Great Illuminator Mahavairocana Buddha (Tib. Nam par nang dzad)shines in the center of mandala in this Visual Dharma. He represents purified aggregate of form of every being. Vairocana is central in the transmission of Brahma Net Sutra teaching about the Mind-Ground :At that time,from his Lion´s Throne in the Lotus Treasury world,Vairocana Buddha emitted rays of Light. Voice among the rays is heard telling the Buddhas seated on thousand lotus petals: " Practice and uphold the Mind-Ground Dharma Door and transmit it to innumerable Shakyamuni Buddhas,one after another,as well as to all sentient beings."May the Dharma Door be brightly open to all.
When human being see this Visual Dharma he/she must firmly decide of stop eating meat of killed animals.Humanity can make spiritual evolution before and during the galactic alignment in 2012.Don´t wait until Dec 12,2012! Stop eating meat today & purify negative karma by praying,meditating with creative help of Visual Dharmas. Galactic alignment is rare event for humans to witness: it occurs only every 25.800 years. Thus Atiyoga Dzogchen is clearly explained . 100-syllable mantra of Vajrasattva ends with ...Mahasamaya sattva A. Sacred letter A represents primordial Sound of Dharmata,our innate Buddha nature. All Visual Dharmas for the benefit of beings are empowered with the Sound of Dharmata. May Vairocana Light mantra purify all phenomena. As it is said in the sutra: "Lord of Mysteries (Vajrapani), know that the letter A represents primordial state."

Vairocana
Vairocana (also Vairochana or Mahāvairocana, Sanskrit: वैरोचन) is a celestial buddha who is often interpreted, in texts like the Flower Garland Sutra, as the Dharma Body of the historical Buddha (Siddhartha Gautama). In Chinese, Korean, and Japanese Buddhism, Vairocana is also seen as the embodiment of the Buddhist concept of Emptiness. In the conception of the Five Wisdom Buddhas of Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, Vairocana is at the centre and is considered a Primordial Buddha.
Vairocana is not to be confused with Vairocana Mahabali, son of Virochana.
History of devotion
Vairocana Buddha is first introduced in the Brahma Net Sutra:
He is also mentioned in the Flower Garland Sutra; however, the doctrine of Vairocana Buddha is based largely on the teachings of the Mahavairocana Sutra (also known as the Mahāvairocana-abhisaṃbodhi-tantra) and to a lesser degree the Vajrasekhara Sutra (also known as the Sarvatathāgatatattvasaṃgraha Tantra).
He is also mentioned as an epithet of the Buddha Śakyamuni in the Sutra of Meditation on the Bodhisattva Universal Virtue, who dwells in a place called "Always Tranquil Light".

Vairocana Buddha is sometimes called the primordial Buddha or supreme Buddha. He represents the wisdom of shunyata, "Emptiness." He is considered a personification of the Dharmakaya, Everything, unmanifested, free of characteristics and distinctions. When the Dhyani Buddhas are pictured together in a mandala, Vairocana is at the center.
Vairocana is white, representing all colors, and his symbol is the Dharma wheel. His hand mudra represents the turning of the wheel. He is associated with the first skandha, form.
Meditation on Vairocana vanquishes ignorance.

Vairocana is white, representing all colors, and his symbol is the Dharma wheel. His hand mudra represents the turning of the wheel. He is associated with the first skandha, form.

… by the blessing of the extraordinary power of all Infallible Buddhas’ and Infallible Vairocana Buddha’s true vows of the Great Initiation Light Dharani, instantaneously, one’s path will be brighten, the effect from the bad karma will be dissolved and to be liberated from the existence of sufferings, will reborn into the Western Pure Land from a Lotus flower till attaining the state Enlightenment, and never be degenerated to the undesirable states.”
The Vairocana statue in Nara’s Todai-ji in Japan was the biggest bronze image of Vairocana Buddha in the world. The larger of the monumental statues that were shattered at Bamyan, the capital of Afghanistan, was also a depiction of Vairocana.
