DEATH MARCH OF BATAAN ( BRUTALITY & ATROCITIES)
The film shows re-enactment scenes based on eye-witness accounts of the brutality and atrocities that the enemy inflicted on American and Filipino troops during the Death March and later at Camp O'Donnell and Camp Cabanatuan. The men on Bataan were forgotten by their leaders, in other words, they were expendable. Because of its horror contents, it was rejected by networks in the US and Japan. AVAILABLE NOW ON DVD at EBAY.COM, from Director Rainer Loeser.

Distribution of Relief Goods in Dinalupihan, Bataan 8/10/2012
Dinalupihan, Bataan 10 August 2012 President Benigno S. Aquino III led the relief goods distribution to 25000 families severely affected by the flooding brought by the southwest monsoon in Dinalupihan City, Bataan. In his message, President Aquino assured the flood victims that they will investigate on the possible cause of the flooding in order to deliver realistic and reasonable solution to permanently solve, if not help mitigate flooding problems. "Naka-alalay ang gobyerno, kayo ang boss namin, gagawin namin ang lahat para maisaayos ito," the President said. He also sought help from the members of the media to partner with the government in providing factual information regarding situational reports in order to effectively and efficiently allocate resources and funding. He said that inaccurate reports had circulated in the news putting the population of Bataan close to half a million instead of 200000 as what is on record. According to City Mayor Joel Jaime Payumo, this is the worse flood incident recorded in more than 30 years in history, even surpassing the disastrous 2009 typhoon Ondoy. Out of 48 barangays, 28 have been submerged in floodwaters with some areas reaching up to eight feet high. Even the municipal building was not spared when floodwaters reached its ground level up to a foot high. Rehabilitation of the city is already being enforced, restoring 95% of electric power to its residence since last night. He also sought budget allocation from the President to ...

Filipinos remember the Bataan Death March
Araw ng Kagitingan (English:"Day of Valour") is a national holiday in the Philippines which commemorates the fall of Bataan during World War II. At dawn on April 9, 1942 against the orders of Generals Douglas MacArthur and Jonathan Wainwright, Major General Edward P. King, Jr., commanding Luzon Force, Bataan, Philippine Islands, surrendered more than 76000 (67000 Filipinos, 1000 Chinese Filipinos, and 11796 Americans) starving and disease-ridden men. The majority of the prisoners of war were immediately robbed of their keepsakes and belongings and subsequently forced to endure a 90-mile (140 km) march in deep dust over vehicle-broken macadam roads and crammed into rail cars to captivity at Camp O'Donnell. En route, thousands died from dehydration, heat prostration, untreated wounds, and wanton execution. Those few who were lucky enough to travel on trucks to San Fernando would still have to endure more than 25 additional miles of marching. Prisoners were beaten randomly and often denied promised food and water. Those who fell behind were usually executed or left to die; the sides of the roads became littered with dead bodies and those moaning for assistance. On the Bataan Death March, approximately 54000 of the 76000 prisoners reached their destination. The death toll of the march is difficult to assess because thousands of captives were able to escape from their guards. All told, approximately 5000-10000 Filipino and 600-650 American prisoners of war died before they ...

WORLD WAR 2 BATAAN DEATH MARCH - PART 1
Go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com if you are interested in high adventure and want to participate in recovering World War 2 treasure. Massive looting as an extension of war is nothing new. The Japanese were serious, sober, and deliberate when they methodically and systematically looted thirteen Asian Countries during World War 2. They took treasure including precious diamonds and other gems, gold bullion, and solid gold Buddha's out of every hiding place. Much of this treasure did not make it back to Japan due to a World War 2 naval blockade of the Philippine islands by the United States, and has been recovered recently in underground hiding places. Widespread and systematic looting took place during World War 2 throughout Europe and Asia. For details, go to: www.worldwar2treasure.com

Joe Bataan - I Wish You Love, Part 1 & 2
From Joe Bataan's Saint Latin's Day Massacre LP in 1972, and released on the Fania Records imprint. As a general rule, I NEVER upload songs that already exist on YouTube, but I've seen folks upload either parts 1 OR 2 of Joe Bataan's "I Wish You Love," and I think both parts need to be presented together to capture the complete cultural flavor of this tune. I bought the album and enjoyed it from start to finish. You should do the same: www.fania.com Nope, Fania gave me nothing to shout them out, nor have I asked for anything. We're talking about Fania Records, so I'm sure you understand... More about the song from Fania: "The following nine and one-half minutes are dedicated to the beautiful classic ballad, 'I Wish You Love'. Joe again shows his versatility as he treats this song in two ways. In Part 1, we get to enjoy the romantic approach, while in Part 2, Bataan swings the tune with a clever mambo backing by the band.
