The Beatles - Beatles '65 [New Master Exp.] [HD]
Happy Easter! Please listein in 720p mode and with decent headphones to obtain the highest sound quality from this video. Remastered from the original UK mixes, while trying to mimic the sound of the original Capitol reel-to-reel tapes. 'I Feel Fine' and 'She's A Woman' were 'echoed' by the original true stereo mix (unlike the US fake stereo echo mix released on the vinyl copy of this album). Beatles '65 is The Beatles' fifth Capitol release, but seventh American album. It was released in mono and stereo versions. The album was also issued in Germany on the Odeon label. On 16 November 2004, this album was released on Compact Disc for the first time as part of The Capitol Albums, Volume 1 box set (catalogue number CDP 7243 8 66874 2 5). Beatles '65 includes eight of the fourteen songs from Beatles for Sale (omitting "Eight Days a Week", "Words of Love", "Every Little Thing", "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party", "What You're Doing", and the "Kansas City/Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey" medley, all of which were issued on Beatles VI). It also includes "I'll Be Back" from A Hard Day's Night and the single "I Feel Fine"/"She's a Woman". These latter two songs were remixed into "duophonic" [fake] stereo and drenched in reverb by Capitol Records' executive Dave Dexter, Jr to cover up the use of the mono mixes sent from England. The mono versions of both "I Feel Fine" and "She's A Woman" were also remixed with added echo and reverb for the single and mono album release. The stereo mix of "Mr <b>...</b>

The two songs from the group's then current single, "I Feel Fine" and "She's a Woman", are duophonic mixes made by Capitol from its mono mixes for the songs. The Beatles - I Feel Fine
The Beatles - I Feel Fine 1963 "I Feel Fine" is a riff-driven rock song written primarily by John Lennon (credited to Lennon/McCartney) and released in 1964 by the Beatles as the A-side of their eighth UK single. The single reached the top of the UK charts on 12 December of that year, displacing The Rolling Stones' "Little Red Rooster," and remained there for five weeks. It also reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in late 1964. The B-side was "She's a Woman". "I Feel Fine" was the first of six number one songs in a row on the American charts, a record at the time. The subsequent singles were "Eight Days a Week", "Ticket to Ride", "Help!", "Yesterday", and "We Can Work It Out". The record was equaled by The Bee Gees in 1979 and surpassed by Whitney Houston in 1988. The intro to "I Feel Fine" starts with a single, percussive (yet pure-sounding) note (a high "A" harmonic) played on John Lennon's electric guitar that sustains, perhaps beyond any song previously recorded. It is then transformed and distorted via feedback. According to McCartney, "John had a semi-acoustic Gibson guitar. It had a pick-up on it so it could be amplified... We were just about to walk away to listen to a take when John leaned his guitar against the amp. I can still see him doing it... it went, 'Nnnnnnwahhhhh!" And we went, 'What's that? Voodoo!' 'No, it's feedback.' Wow, it's a great sound!' George Martin was there so we said, 'Can we have that on the record?' 'Well, I suppose we could, we <b>...</b>

The Beatles "Baby's in Black" (live) (45 rpm record + video montage)
The Beatles "Baby's in Black" 45 rpm vinyl -- live version from the Hollywood Bowl, recorded Aug 1965 - issued as the B-side to "Real Love", March 1996. This is my first "vinyl video" clip where I actually make a video, not just point the camera at the turntable and you get to watch a record spinning on a turntable -- I suspect that can be only so interesting even to most die-hard vinyl record fans. Plus, the audio is sourced directly from the vinyl single. So in this video, I included images that pertain to both this Beatles track and their Hollywood Bowl performance. "Baby's in Black" did not appear on the 1977 album release "The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl", nor did it appear on any of the Anthology albums. But just for fun, I decided to put some "Hollywood Bowl' pics (that album has yet to appear on CD, so many might have not heard it if they do not have the original LP, or know what the cover artwork looks like, or the essay George Martin wrote for the back cover, which I included here). "Baby's in Black" composed by John Lennon & Paul McCartney. Originally appeared on the 'Beatles for Sale' UK album, and the 'Beatles '65' US album, both issued Dec 1964.
