Niagara Travel: Niagara Escarpment tour: Town of Milton and Mill Pond
These video clips were taken during my driving tour around the Niagara Escarpment on July 18, 2007. As much as I love Toronto, I occasionally need to get out into the country and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Ontario's rural areas. So at 9 am I met my friend Karel who is a local expert of the area and we set off on a discovery of Halton Region Conservation areas: we started with Mount Nemo Conservation Area, stopped in Lowville, and then admired the Iroquois longhouses in Crawford Lake. After a brief stop in the Hilton Falls Conservation Area we explored the Victorian-era Main Street of Milton as well as its scenic Mill Pond. From here we drove on towards the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area where we enjoyed the view of two waterfalls: Tew's Falls and Webster's Falls. We also hiked out to Dundas Peak, and the rocky platform with its sheer vertical drops provided a stunning view of Dundas and the City of Hamilton. I capped off my country tour with a leisurely drive along Lake Ontario's shoreline past the cities of Burlington, Oakville and Mississauge. Escarpment - Halo Reach Custom Map
Download to your XBox from Bungie.net at www.bungie.net This is a guided tour of Escarpment, a Halo Reach custom map. Escarpment is cliff styled asymmetrical map set on the side of Alaska the Coastline in Forge World. Escarpment is a small/medium sized 4 vs 4 asymmetrical map. Ideal for team slayer but also supports CTF and KOTH. There is a high and low base with most power weapons in the center of the map. Movement between the high and low areas of the map is expedited by three man cannons and one teleporter. It is available for download at my fileshare: www.bungie.net This video was made using Bungie Pro.
