Utho Meri Duniya Ke Ghareebon (Farman-e-Khuda) - Allama Iqbal
Revolutionary poetry of Iqbal - Book: Baal-e-Jibreel Poet:Allama Iqbal Singer: A nayyer Lyrics & translation Farman-e-Khuda Utho Mere Duniya Ke Gareebon Ko Jaga Do!! Kaakh-e-Umra Ke Dar-o-Deewaar Hila Do!! Rise up and awaken the poor of My world! Shake the doors & walls of the mansions of the great Garmao Ghulaamon Ka Lahoo Soz-e-Yakeen Se; Kunjishk Ke Firomaya Ko Shaheen Se Lada Do!! Stirr up the blood of slaves with fire of Faith. and make fearful Sparrow bold enough to face Falcon. Sultani-o-Jamhoor Ka Aata Hai Zamaana; Jo Naqsh-e-Kohan Tumko Nazar Aaye Mita Do!! The reign of monarchy and Democracy is coming. Remove any sign of archaism (old kind of system) you come across. Orthodoxy's teachings about time. Apocalyptic intuitions from psychoactive plants. Complexity and novelty in the universe. Terence's attempts to construct a new temporal cosmology. Is the universe being pulled and shaped by a transcendental attractor? Is our planetary crisis really some kind of birth? Using dream, yoga and psychedelics to glimpse the transcendental attractor. Myths of time and their differing impact upon cultures. Life as a strategy for the conquest of dimensionality, including the conquest of time. Metamorphosis and boundary dissolution. Samael - The Shadow of the Sword
The Shadow of the Sword from Samael's new album Lux Mundi. Lyrics: Listen!* This is a true story, based on reality A mass of frenzy, a poison sold as remedy They tell you knowledge is a curse but ignorance ain't bliss They tell you love one another while waging war for peace Delusion, fraud and deception The foundation of religion Is it that holy to decide to be nothing but a shadow of a man? Trading life with death, mixing lies with hope and living in the shadow of the sword Middle age in the 21st century Struggling to survive modernity Trapped in a time of obscurantism Where minds rely on archaism Arrogance, wealth and violence The trinity of monotheism Is it that holy to decide to be nothing but a shadow of a man? Trading life with death, mixing lies with hope and living in the shadow of the sword Is it that holy, tell me, to decide to be nothing more than a shadow of a man? Trading life with death, mixing lies with hope and living in the shadow of the sword Arrogance, wealth and violence The trinity of monotheism Arrogance, wealth and violence The trinity of monotheism Is it that holy to decide to be nothing but a shadow of a man? Lungomare - Deborah Ligorio - 2011
a walk along the Bay of Naples "Golfo di Napoli" ,100 kilometer circa in 10 days. The 6-hour long integral version was exhibited at Sommer&Kohl;, Berlin, in March 2011, for the exhibition titled "Escursione Meridionale" When asked where I come from, obviously I answer from Italy. But at some point I realized that the "Italy" people imagine does not include the area I come from. I come from Southern Italy, and after having lived elsewhere for most of my life, the question of the South, or "la questione meridionale" as Italian politicians and sociologists from the late 19th century onwards used to call it, began to occupy my mind. The idea of the South corresponds to a stereotype constructed of tourism, of sea and sun, as much as of archaism, lack of development or even poverty. But the South is pretty much a construction, in many regards imaginary, resembling the Orient in the approach of Edward Said. South Italy is not any longer the place described by Carlo Levi in the 1930s. Epochs and stratifications were layered over the campania felix where Goethe once travelled or on the Greek colonies of Magna Grecia. Naples is no longer the place described by Anna Maria Ortese in her short stories after the war, nor has it remained in the condition that Jessy White Mario reported at the end of the 19th century. The Italian South looks very different from the place where I grew up. Yet, history has left its trac-s. Lungomare is the title of a 6-hour long video, documenting a 100 ...

Rate & Sub??? :) Lyrics: Tied down against the tracks Screaming in silent black and white Why'd you trust us we are such villains We would tell ourselves anything we want to hear if we are willing To listen is to learn Then too much is what we deserve And how come when we say that we do We don't Pray to anybody you want We won't But if we're the ones to blame then the fruit Shouldn't taste so good we were used Used to thinking we got nothing to lose We're losing everything but the truth Is walking straight into a roadblock ending left here bending Your point of view was chosen by the serpent's ruse With all its do's and don'ts The future is an empty promise Unconcerned and so tired of waiting We could sell it wooden horses full of nightmares and when they open This all might recompose There's no going back to the good old days it's just a phase bring in some new life Archaism is a dusty road leading us back to nowhere But if we're the ones to blame then the fruit Shouldn't taste so good we were used Used to thinking we got nothing to lose We're losing everything but the truth Is walking straight into a roadblock ending left here bending Your point of view was chosen by the serpent's ruse How come when we say we do We don't How come when we say we will We won't

Bucovina GL
Bukowina The name Bukovina came into official use in 1775 with the region's annexation from the Principality of Moldavia to the possessions of the Habsburg Monarchy, which became Austrian Empire in 1804, and Austria-Hungary in 1867. The official German name, die Bukowina, of the province under Austrian rule (17751918), was derived from the Polish form Bukowina, which in turn comes from the common Slavic form Bukowina, which stands for beech tree (бук [buk] as, for example, in Ukrainian or, even, Buche in German).[1] Another German name for the region, das Buchenland, is mostly used in poetry, and means "beech land", or "the land of beech trees". In Romanian, in litarary or poetic contexts, the name Ţara Fagilor ("the land of beech trees") is sometimes used. During the Middle Ages, the region was the northwestern third of "Ţara de Sus" (Upper Country in Romanian) part of the Moldavian Principality, as opposed to "Ţara de Jos" (Lower Country). The region has become the cradle of the Moldavian Principality, and remained its political center until 1574, when its capital was moved from Suceava to Iaşi. Nowadays in Ukraine the name is unofficial, but is common when referring to the Chernivtsi Oblast as over 2/3 of Oblast is the northern part of Bukovina. In Romania the term Northern Bucovina is sometimes synonymous to the entire Chernivtsi Oblast of Ukraine, and (Southern) Bucovina to Suceava County of Romania. (Note: Currently 10% of the Suceava County covers territory outside ...

Paul Hindemith - Harp Sonata. Harp - Luisa Domingo
Luisa Domingo plays Hindemith - Harp Sonata Hindemith wrote his Harp Sonata in Switzerland in 1939, while en route to the United States, for the Italian harpist Clelia Gatti-Aldrovandi. In its three short movements, Hindemith -- who had a natural understanding of nearly every musical instrument -- masterfully encapsulated the spirit of the harp: its contrapuntal and harmonic independence, and its heritage as one of the oldest musical instruments. The first movement, marked "Moderately fast," opens with an imperious chordal gesture that is both declamatory in its rhetoric and archaic in its modal harmony. The full range of the instrument is called upon in this resourcefully written sonata form movement, the character of which is noble and detached. The subsequent scherzo, marked "Lively," exploits the harp's capacity for quick filigree and lightness of texture. In the last movement, "Lied," Hindemith uses a nostalgic poem by the nineteenth century poet Hölty to create a literal "song" without words. The poem relates a dying harpist's last wish: that, after his death, his harp be placed behind the church altar as a memorial, where "at sunset" ("im Abendrot") it will sound, seemingly of its own accord -- much like the Aeolian harps of antiquity. In this finale, the noble archaism of the music takes on a sad and bittersweet quality that is all the more satisfying for its ingenuousness. Source: Mark Satola, Rovi

Comme des Garçons, WHITE DRAMA
White Drama
The French fashion curator and critic Olivier Saillard opened the Comme des Garçons “White Drama” exhibition on Wednesday night at the Cité de la Mode et du Design across the Seine, in the temporary digs of the Musée Galliera.
Showcasing the Spring Summer 2012 collection in its entirety, the all-white installation is divided into six chapters, each featuring a series of silhouettes encased in an inflatable plastic dome. First shown during Paris Fashion Week on October 1st 2011, the collection follows a feminine evolution through the stages of life – from birth, through marriage, towards death – all in shades of white picked out in delicate leavers lace, silk satin, wool gabardine and floral embroideries. Certain styles featured tied sleeves and covered veils, evoking thoughts of strait-jackets and religious garb. The few moments of contrast arrive as inflated black rubber headpieces by the London set designer Gary Card, and hand-painted graffiti by the Japanese artist Oyama Enrico Isamu.
The museum’s decision to exhibit a single current collection is a testament to the progressive nature of Rei Kawakubo’s work and its relevance and influence on fashion today. “The collection is a rallying point between archaism and a vision of the future, a stand for the imaginary, where consideration of the garment, the noblest of all, is the subject.” – Olivier Saillard
White Drama at Cité de la Mode et du Design 34, Quai d’Austerlitz – Paris 75013 runs from April 13th until October 7th 2012. Read Fashion Editor Caroline Newell’s take on the collection in The Royalty Issue here.

UNDER TOMORROW'S SKY
Speculative visions of a future city
August 10 - October 28
Eindhoven has a tradition to uphold when it comes to thinking about the future, with technology and design together playing the leading role. It was therefore inescapable that the English think tank Tomorrows Thoughts Today (TTT) would eventually find its way to Eindhoven. By now TTT has almost become part of the family.
Not only did they contribute to the Great Babylon Circus at MU, with the intriguing ‘Landscape of unnatural history’, and conceive the luminous drones that performed an interactive choreography over the river Dommel during GLOW, but behind the scenes they also worked together with Philips Design on the Design Probes programme.
This cooperation led to our curiosity about TTT’s many-sided practice and visions of the future being roused even further. More than any other they know how to link up contemporary, and in particular future-oriented thought on nature, urbanism, technology and culture, into inspiring and bizarre stories that tell us as much about the future as about the present day.
In all events, in their work they manage to expose the fashionable cult around ‘innovation’. According to TTT, the guise of innovation often simply shrouds a lack of historical awareness, a pitfall into which we ourselves would not like to fall. Freely and humorously switching between our late-modern past, present-day archaisms and retro-projections of the future, they denounce this shortcoming in a visual way. MU is pleased to give TTT front man Liam Young whatever room he needs for this.
Working as an urbanist, designer and futurist, he is seen as one the people who will change the face of architecture and design over the next few years. At MU, as the pivot in an extensive network of mad scientists, literary astronauts, speculative gamers and enlightened minds, he is starting out on a comprehensive project entitled Under Tomorrows Sky, in which the city of the future comes to life. After an initial think tank came together in June to sketch the contours of this city, it will actually be erected at MU at the end of July, and will be open to the public from August 10th. The idea is that this model of a city will serve as the décor for stories created by writers, film makers, artists, game developers, philosophers, designers, and of course the public, on urban life in the future.

A Parisian techno night in the 'Pumpwerk'.
One of the VeeJayGROOVE events organised by the EMAF will be a French party in Wilhelmshaven.
The international success of Daft Punk, Air, I:Cube, Laurent Garnier and others founded the reputation of Paris as a European techno centre. For the first time in a long while popular isolation music 'made in France' is constantly in the international charts. Special guests in Wilhelmshaven will be two Parisian VeeJay groups with completely different concepts.
Laps works mainly with found footage material.
The VeeJay trio roams French flea markets for overlapped and often damaged copies of old educational and industrial films. They juxtapose the lucid machine dreams of today's dance floor beats with the naïve technical euphoria of the past in an ironic way.
On the other hand the Skwax & Larsen-Family fully concentrates on professional computer and television standards. The group of four inde-pendent Parisian VeeJays presents impressive electronic art deco with a visual imagination that is internationally unrivalled.
They continuously mix styles using pretty much every creative principle in the history of pop art.
Live performances by the 13 members of Les Asteroides round up the Paris special of VeeJayGROOVE.
With their weird mixture of prehistoric archaism and outer space science fiction outfits, the rave dance group has caused a sensation on the most prestigious French dance floors way across the borders of Paris.
Their public appearance in Wilhelmshaven celebrates the
German premiere of this mixed group of circus dancers,
showgirls and performance artists.

Tamara Obrovac - La Carisa
PANPHONIA ISTRIANA / ISTRIAN POLYSOUNDS Tamara Obrovac, Croatian musician has launched the years-long project of revitalization of dialectal and musical heritage of Istria, PANPHONIA ISTRIANA, in which the archaism of the dialectal and cultural tradition is connected with the modern multimedia expression. The visual identity of the project is in the hands of Matija Debeljuh. The aim of the project is to produce one multimedia DVD each two years, dedicated to one of the many Istrian dialects / languages of Slavic and Romance origin. The first DVD (2009) was dedicated to the Istriot language, and the second one, which is currently underway, is dedicated to the Istro-Romanian language preserved in the villages of Žejane and Šušnjevica, on the slopes of Učka Mountain... A lot of different audio / video / photo material has been collected. The participants are currently working on the structure and the story which will serve as the framework for the multimedia artistic presentation of various aspects of this obsolete vernacular, again under the motto "written word, uttered word and word set to music". The leading idea of the whole project is: "Dialect is the language of emotion, emotion is the language of the soul, soul is the language of a culture." _______________________________________ www.panphonia.com www.tamaraobrovac.com __________________________________________ lyrics in Istriot by Loredana Bogliun (La carisa, La peicia) Tamara Obrovac / composer, voice Henry ...

Vuge, Ružmarine
Etno udruga Vuge, pjesma Ružmarine, u pripremi novi CD i spot za pjesmu more music at: soundcloud.com Vuge are barefoot fairies singing sad and melanchonic songs who will enchant you with their music, take you back to a time that has been long forgotten and make you dance... Description Vuge is a band whose music consists of unique and original arrangements of old and forgotten traditional songs from Croatia and other countries. The band is made up of instruments and vocals that made it unique in its four years of existence. The instruments are: violin, flute, cimbalom, double bass, kontra, cajon, darbuka, saxophone. These instruments accompany vocals that are singing in a traditional way typical for each country the songs come from and together with more modern rhythms (jazz, blues, swing) make a unique musical fusion. Another thing typical for Vuge is the constant interwining of melodies and rhythms of the countries whose songs are performed and an aspiration towards multiculturalism through music. So, tradition in a modern way, melancholy, archaism, fusion, intertwining and multiculturalism are the main pillars of Vuge.
