(HD) NHL Montage Of The 2009-2010 Season
Watch in HD! All 30 teams represented. I don't have all the highlights of the season, but I came close. And yes, I am a Kings fan. Spoiler: I found the footage of Staal leaving the locker room and that's when I knew, I had to end it with him. I wanted him to have a quick flashback of the season. I didn't want a typical Crosby/Ovechkin ending so I'm glad I chose Staal.

Dion Phaneuf - 2009/2010 Season Highlights
Thought I'd mix RocknRolla with the Dion. It originally started off as a joke but then quickly turned into a full blown project. 1000 computer crashes later (no joke) I ended up with this. Also, I'm not including the captaincy until he gets a proper ceremony at the ACC, on ice and in front of 20 000 fans. MLSE's sports bar plug was the Vegas wedding equivalent.

NHL 2009-2010 - Clash Of The Goaltenders (HD)
This is an NHL goaltending montage of the 2009-2010, showcasing some of the biggest saves in both the regular season and Stanley Cup Playoffs. I couldn't think of the perfect music to line up with the video, but after a bunch of looking around on the internet, I saw a review of on of the best movies I've seen this year so far which was Clash Of The Titans featuring Sam Worthington. He's one of my favorite actors ever since The Terminator - Salvation and even Avatar. The song is called The Bird And The Worm by The Used, but it's only the instrumental. It's a great pump up song for any sport, so that's why I thought this song fit the scene just perfectly! I hope you enjoyed this video, and decided to comment, rate, like or even subscribe to FR0ZENP0NDproduction! You can also leave a request on a video, whether it be a player or a team. Thanks again!

As voted on by the folks at HF Boards. Sutton ran away with it with his massive hit on Leopold. Enjoy. Sorry about the Phaneuf one, it was pre-season and theres not much footage of it, I wasn't able to get the alternate angles of it. Thanks to HockeyWebCast for the Richards footage, my footage somehow fell off the side of the planet (or my hard drive). Please don't reply with "This hit is illegal now ".

The newest member of the Vancouver Canucks, Jason Garrison! Check out all 16 of his goals in the regular season as a member of the Florida Panthers! Jason John Maxwell Garrison (born November 13, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Undrafted, Garrison played collegiate hockey with the University of Minnesota Duluth of the WCHA before signing a two-year entry level contract with the Florida Panthers on April 2, 2008. Garrison turned professional in the 2008--09 season, with AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, scoring 35 points and earning a solitary recall to Florida to make his NHL debut against the St. Louis Blues on October 25, 2008. Jason split the season in 2009--10 between the Panthers and the Americans, scoring his first NHL goal in a 7-4 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on March 3, 2010. On March 23, 2012, Garrison set a Panthers franchise record for most goals by a defenceman in a single season with his 16th goal of the season against the Edmonton Oilers. Going into free agency, Garrison signed a 6-year contract worth $27.6 million with the Vancouver Canucks on July 1, 2012.

Road Back to the Frozen Four (69 minutes)
History
[edit]Partridge and his academy
The university was founded in 1819 at Norwich by military educator and former superintendent of West Point, Captain Alden B. Partridge. Captain Partridge believed in the "American System of Education," a traditional liberal arts curriculum with instruction in civil engineering and military science. After leaving West Point because of congressional disapproval of his system, he returned to his native state of Vermont to create the American Literary, Scientific and Military Academy. Captain Partridge, in founding his academy, rebelled against the reforms of Sylvanus Thayer to prevent the rise of what he saw as the greatest threat to the security of the young republic: a professional officer class. He believed that a well-trained militia was an urgent necessity and developed the American system around that idea. His academy became the inspiration for a number of military colleges throughout the nation, including both the Virginia Military Institute and The Citadel, and later the land grant colleges created through the Morrill Act of 1862.[4]
Partridge's educational beliefs were considered radical at the time, and this led to his conflicting views with the federal government while he was the superintendent of West Point. Upon creation of his own school, he immediately incorporated classes of agriculture and modern languages in addition to the sciences, liberal arts, and various military subjects. Field exercises, for which Partridge borrowed cannon and muskets from the federal and state governments, supplemented classroom instruction and added an element of realism to the college’s program of well-rounded military education.
Partridge founded six other military institutions during his quest to reform the fledgling United States military. They were the Virginia Literary, Scientific and Military Academy at Portsmouth, Virginia (1839–1846), Pennsylvania Literary, Scientific, and Military Academy at Bristol, Pennsylvania (1842–1845), Pennsylvania Military Institute at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (1845–1848), Wilmington Literary, Scientific and Military Academy at Wilmington, Delaware (1846–1848), the Scientific and Military Collegiate Institute at Reading, Pennsylvania (1850–1854), Gymnasium and Military Institute at Pembroke, New Hampshire (1850–1853) and the National Scientific and Military Academy at Brandywine Springs, Delaware (1853).[5]
[edit]Fire and hardship: Norwich in the 19th century
In 1825 the academy moved to Middletown, Connecticut, to provide better naval training to the school's growing corps of cadets. In 1829, the state of Connecticut declined to grant Captain Partridge a charter and he moved the school back to Norwich (the Middletown campus became Wesleyan University in 1831). Beginning in 1826, the college offered the first program of courses in civil engineering in the US. In 1834 Vermont granted a charter and recognized the institution as Norwich University. During the 1856 academic year, the first chapter of the Theta Chi Fraternity was founded by cadets Frederick Norton Freeman and Arthur Chase. With the beginning of the Civil War in 1861, Norwich cadets served as instructors of the state militias throughout the Northeast and the entire class of 1862 enlisted upon its graduation. Norwich turned out hundreds of officers and soldiers who served with the federal armies in the American Civil War, including four recipients of the Medal of Honor. One graduate led a corps, seven more headed divisions, 21 commanded brigades, 38 led regiments, and various alumni served in 131 different regimental organizations. In addition, these men were eyewitnesses to some of the war's most dramatic events, including the bloodiest day of the conflict at Antietam, the attack up Marye's Heights at Fredericksburg, and the repulse of Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg. Seven hundred and fifty Norwich men served in the Civil War, of whom sixty fought for the Confederacy.[6] Because of the university's participation in the struggle, the number of students dwindled to seven in the class of 1864 alone.
The Confederate raid on St. Albans, Vermont precipitated fear that Newport, Vermont was an imminent target. The corps quickly boarded an express train for Newport, the same day, October 19, 1864, to the great relief of the inhabitants.
After a catastrophic fire in 1866 which devastated the entire campus, the town of Northfield welcomed the struggling school. The Civil War, the fire, and the uncertainty regarding the continuation of the University seriously lowered the attendance, and the school opened in the fall of 1866 with only 19 students. The 1870s and 1880s saw many financially turbulent times for the institution and the renaming of the school to Lewis College in 1880. In 1881 the student body was reduced to only a dozen men. Later, by 1884, the Vermont Legislature had the name of the school changed back to Norwich. In 1898 the university was designated as the Military

Crosby/ Messier Photo Shoot at NHL awards
Crosby had previously (co-)claimed the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the NHL’s goal-scoring champion after posting a career-high 51 goals in the 2009-10 season.
Crosby later added his first Mark Messier Leadership Award, which recognizes a superior leader in hockey and as a contributing member of society.
"(Messier) is the guy that you think of when you think of leadership on and off the ice with the type of person that he is," Crosby said. "It's a real honor for him to select me for that award. I really appreciate that.
"It's an area where you're never going to stop learning. Being a young captain, that's encouraging."
At the young age of 22, Crosby now has six awards in his trophy case. The Richard and Messier will soon sit next to the Art Ross (scoring champion), Hart (league MVP), Ted Lindsay (best player as voted by his peers) and, of course, the most precious metal of all – the Stanley Cup.
The Messier Awards honors an individual who leads by positive example through on-ice performance, motivation of team members and a dedication to community activities and charitable causes.
Crosby completed yet another spectacular season for Pittsburgh. As well as leading the league with 51 goals (tying Tampa Bay’s Steven Stamkos), Crosby placed second in the league with 109 points.
On top of that, he scored the decisive goal in overtime to give Team Canada the gold medal in the 2010 Olympic hockey tournament.

Phoenix Coyotes Feature: WHY, WHY NOT?
Simply put, this feature was important. As a network, we found ourselves in position where we actually had to justify our coverage of the 2009-10 Phoenix Coyotes. After an 11th hour bailout by the NHL, hockey was to be played in Phoenix, and a team which was predicted to do nothing suddenly had to fill seats whereas a network not sure they’d even be covering the sport suddenly had to find viewers.
Todd Walsh, one of the Arizona’s best sports personalities, wrote this and gave me the honor of editing and producing its content. The result is what you see here, and it was so well received we aired it throughout the season, it was picked up by the NHL Network and it was nominated for editing in our Regional Emmy Association.
To me what matters is that it articulates the message we wanted to send: Hockey belongs in the hearts of the fans. With very specific shots, many historical, and some good audio tracks, we were able to tell a story and foreshadow what turned out to be one of the best and most successful seasons in the Coyotes franchise history.
