Free video about palomino horse. This free video was created for you by http://epsos.de and can be used for free under the creative commons license with the attribution of epSos.de as the original author of palomino horse video. Thank you for supporting the creative commons movement !! The palomino is an equine color with golden mane and tail white silvery characteristic of the American races. The cream gene is causing this layer. It's a gene dominant incomplete, which means that when there is only one causes the disappearance of about 50% of pigment red. Huge horse is a mammal Perissodactyla domesticated family of horses. It is a herbivore solípedo large size, long neck arched, populated by long mane. Huge female horse is called a mare and calves, foals or foals if they are male, and fillies or fillies if they are females. The horse breeding and use by humans is known as equine livestock or horses, and their domestication dates back some 3600 years to. C., in the region of Kazakhstan. Several findings in caves in Europe indicate that the horse was a very abundant animal during the stone age in that continent found enough remains of skeletons of horses in and around these caves as to claim that they were consumed by humans. The number of horses declined in the Neolithic, when Europe was covered by forests mostly. Found remains of the Bronze Age, mouths and spare harnesses, showing that the horse was domesticated at this time. This allowed domestication centuries later, after the discovery of America, that the horses were reintroduced by Spanish conquistadors in the continent that saw them emerge. The height of horses, as in other quadrupeds, measured to the withers, where are the blades, ie the point where the neck meets the back on the horse. Is chosen as the reference point for being a stable height can not increase or decrease as the head or neck. The largest specimen ever recorded horse named Mammoth, probably was a shire, born in 1848. It measured 220 cm and an estimated weighed 1500 kg. 16th Horse brand which currently holds the lower height is called Thumbelina is an adult miniature horse affected by dwarfism. It measures 43 cm tall and weighs 27 kg. Huge horses show a wide variety of colors and distinctive markings layer, leading to broad descriptive specialized vocabulary. Often before a horse is classified by the color of their layer by race or sex. Horses of the same color layer can be distinguished by some private label distributed throughout their bodies, which together with mottled patterns are inherited separately from coat color. In the wild, horses are prey to predators and therefore have strong instincts of flight and defense. Huge horses are difficult to handle if separated from the group, but with training, learn to accept human companionship, and so they feel separated from other horses like. They have an average life of 25 to 40 years in captivity and in the wild they live around 25 years. The inclination of the incisors increases over time and used to determine the age of the horse. It is normal that in any case more live. Not reach maturity until 4 years when they stop being colts (fillies if they are females), at this age they begin to tame and ride. At 4 years are considered adult horses and tend to calm down. A healthy horse can be ridden well into their 20s. The gallop is the fastest air, but the horse runs out before and has no respiratory independence. The maximum speed reaches a galloping horse is 65 km / h. Huge Horses are able to sleep both standing and lying. Huge Horses can have a light sleep standing, because they can block the stifle joint without having to hold your weight with muscles. Huge horses that have passed to posterity because of their famous owners, between history and literature, are the following: Rocinante (horse of Don Quixote de la Mancha ), Babieca (the El Cid ), Bucephalus (the of Alexander the Great ), Incitatus (of Caligula ), Strategos (from Hannibal ), Marengo (of Napoleon ), seven leagues (of Pancho Villa ), Palomo (of Simón Bolívar ), As de Oros (of Emiliano Zapata ), Othar (of Attila ) Lazlos (of Muhammad ), Sire (from Julius Caesar ). Mythology also made several famous horses like Pegasus to Bellerophon, Xanthus and Balius of Achilles, the mares of Diomedes and the Trojan horse. The Haflinger is a mountain horse, which today primarily as a robust recreational horse used for riding. Officially one of the Haflinger pony breeds or Small breeds of horses. The first cloned horse, Prometea, is of this breed. Even today, the Haflinger is still used worldwide as a pack animal for the supply of remote mountain huts or in different armies. It is used as horse skidding in steep or soft forest areas and serves as an agricultural workhorse on farms whose fields are too steep for the economic use of tractors. This application area is very limited. Thank you for supporting the creative commons movement !!- published: 08 Dec 2013

Hercules the Devine Hero
Hercules the Devine Hero
Hercules is the Roman name for the Greek divine hero Heracles, who was the son of Zeus (Roman equivalent Jupiter) and the mortal Alcmene. In classical mythology, Hercules is famous for his strength and for his numerous far-ranging adventures. The Romans adapted the Greek hero's iconography and myths for their literature and art under the name Hercules. In later Western art and literature and in popular culture, Hercules is more commonly used than Heracles as the name of the hero. Hercules was a multifaceted figure with contradictory characteristics, which enabled later artists and writers to pick and choose how to represent him. This article provides an introduction to representations of Hercules in the later tradition. The Latin name Hercules was borrowed through Etruscan, where it is represented variously as Heracle, Hercle, and other forms. Hercules was a favorite subject for Etruscan art, and appears often on bronze mirrors. The Etruscan form Herceler derives from the Greek Heracles via syncope. A mild oath invoking Hercules (Hercule! or Mehercle!) was a common interjection in Classical Latin. Hercules had a number of myths that were distinctly Roman. One of these is Hercules' defeat of Cacus, who was terrorizing the countryside of Rome. The hero was associated with the Aventine Hill through his son Aventinus. Mark Antony considered him a personal patron god, as did the emperor Commodus. Hercules received various forms of religious veneration, including as a deity concerned with children and childbirth, in part because of myths about his precocious infancy, and in part because he fathered countless children. Roman brides wore a special belt tied with the "knot of Hercules", which was supposed to be hard to untie. The comic playwright Plautus presents the myth of Hercules' conception as a sex comedy in his play Amphitryon; Seneca wrote the tragedy Hercules Furens about his bout with madness. During the Roman Imperial era, Hercules was worshipped locally from Hispania through Gaul. Hercules is known for his many adventures, which took him to the far reaches of the Greco-Roman world. One cycle of these adventures became canonical as the "Twelve Labours," but the list has variations. One traditional order of the labours is found in the Bibliotheca as follows: Slay the Nemean Lion. Slay the nine-headed Lernaean Hydra. Capture the Golden Hind of Artemis. Capture the Erymanthian Boar. Clean the Augean stables in a single day. Slay the Stymphalian Birds. Capture the Cretan Bull. Steal the Mares of Diomedes. Obtain the girdle of Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons. Obtain the cattle of the monster Geryon. Steal the apples of the Hesperides. Capture and bring back Cerberus. In films A series of nineteen Italian Hercules movies were made in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The actors who played Hercules in these films were Steve Reeves, Gordon Scott, Kirk Morris, Mickey Hargitay, Mark Forest, Alan Steel, Dan Vadis, Brad Harris, Reg Park, Peter Lupus (billed as Rock Stevens) and Michael Lane. A number of English-dubbed Italian films that featured the name of Hercules in their title were not intended to be movies about Hercules.- published: 13 Dec 2013
