Spiritualist Church Under Attack by European Union HR
Spiritualist Church Under Attack by European Union HR
Little by little the European Union is closing its grip on the former independent nations of Europe and the UK. Now, a church is under attack and the EU wants to do away the the Fraudulent Mediums Act and replace it with consumer protection laws. By doing so they will have to prove their claims and be treated with simialr laws under which you would buy a commodity like a sack of potatoes. How many Religions can prove that they will lead you to Heaven, save your soul, heal, or a direct conduit to God? Are these things provable or should they be under discernment from the state? Remember separation of Church and State. This will cause hardship to this organization...why now, and why in this way? Could it be that certain interests want to suppress this church? Unfair to say the least. We find out that in the rest of the EU, Spiritualist Churches are not legally regognised as religions. Spiritualism and the Church of England in the UK which have been formally recognised by the government. Watch as Geoff and Al Potts of the Bournemouth Spiritualist Church explain their point of view on the subject. Dont look for news like this in the controlled and biased media, you wont find it!! The first part of the video is an explaination and history of Spiritualism, then the latest on the EU action and their interpretation. Other questions follow. MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON TRAILER 1939 FRANK CAPRA
Theatrical teaser trailer for the 1939 Frank Capra classic, MR. SMITH GOES TO WASHINGTON, starring James Stewart, Jean Arthur, Claude Rains and Edward Arnold. Capra's unvarnished look at corruption and political power brokers in Washington -- seen through the eyes of a naive young man appointed to fill a Senate vacancy -- remains one of the great triumphs of the American cinema. Predicatbly, some Congressional members were outraged at depiction of dealings in their hallowed halls and attempted to have the film shelved. Public reception to the film was lukewarm, with tepid box-office (it barely recouped its production costs), but the critics loved the film, showering it with 11 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor . Best Supporting Actor and Best Director. It won for Best Original Story. Out of circulation for decades, Peter Glenville's acclaimed film of Jean Anouilh's 1959 play was recently restored by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Martin Scorsese's Film Foundation. Friendly rivals Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole once again don regal robes as Archbishop Thomas Becket and King Henry II, whose emotional relationship sours over matters of faith. Edward Anhalt's eloquent, endlessly quotable screenplay won the only one of the 12 Oscars this film was nominated for. Five years later O'Toole played an older Henry II in The Lion in Winter. The Flying Deuces: Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy, Jean Parker, Charles Middleton (1939 Movie)
DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchive.org The Flying Deuces, also known as Flying Aces, is a 1939 comedy film starring Laurel and Hardy, in which the duo join the French Foreign Legion. It is a partial remake of their 1931 short film Beau Hunks. The boys are in Paris. Ollie proposes to the innkeeper's daughter Georgette, who is actually married to a soldier, François. When she turns him down, Ollie decides to jump into the River Seine. He drags Stan along with him, and they discuss reincarnation: Stan: Well now that you're going to go, what would you like to come back as? Ollie: Well I haven't given it much thought. I like horses. I guess I'd like to come back as a horse. Stan: Hah! Ollie: What would you like to be when you come back? Stan: Oh, I'd rather come back as myself. I always got on swell with me. The boys are saved from suicide in the nick of time when François changes their mind and recruits them into the French Foreign Legion. They are sent to a fort in North Africa, where they disrupt drills, and are eventually sent to do laundry work. They accidentally throw wet underwear in the face of an officer and set a mountain of clothes on fire. They find that they are not army material (as one would guess) and they desert, after having sent an offensive letter to their commandant. They are imprisoned and sentenced to execution by firing squad. Ollie: Shot at sunrise! Stan: I hope its cloudy tomorrow! The boys find a secret tunnel, but it caves in.
