Nicholas Murray Butler (April 2, 1862 – December 7, 1947) was an American philosopher, diplomat, and educator. Butler was president of Columbia University, president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. He became so well-known and respected that The New York Times printed his Christmas greeting to the nation every year.

Butler was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Mary Butler and manufacturing worker Henry Butler. He enrolled in Columbia College (later Columbia University) earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1882 at the age of twenty, his master's degree in 1883, and his doctorate in 1884. Butler's academic and other achievements led Theodore Roosevelt to call him "Nicholas Miraculous." In 1885, Butler studied in Paris and Berlin and became a lifelong friend of future Secretary of State Elihu Root. Through Root he also met Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. In the fall of 1885, Butler joined the staff of Columbia's philosophy department.

Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt ( /ˈroʊzəvɛlt/ ROH-zə-velt; October 27, 1858 – January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States of America (1901–1909). He is noted for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement, as well as his "cowboy" persona and robust masculinity. He was a leader of the Republican Party and founder of the short-lived Progressive ("Bull Moose") Party of 1912. Before becoming President, he held offices at the city, state, and federal levels. Roosevelt's achievements as a naturalist, explorer, hunter, author, and soldier are as much a part of his fame as any office he held as a politician. Roosevelt was 42 years old when sworn in as President of the United States in 1901, making him the youngest president ever; he beat out the youngest elected president, John F. Kennedy, by only one year. Roosevelt was also one of only three sitting presidents to have won the Nobel Peace Prize, the other two being Woodrow Wilson and Barack Obama.

Norman Dodd (June 29, 1899 – January 1987) born in New Jersey, was a banker/bank manager, worked as a financial advisor and served as chief investigator in 1953 for U.S. Congressman B. Carroll Reece Special Committee on Tax Exempt Foundations (commonly referred to as the Reece Committee). He was primarily known for his controversial investigation into tax-exempt foundations. Norman Dodd was interviewed by the Journalist G. Edward Griffin just before he died and a interview documentary was produced as a result which has gained a very wide audience in later years.

Norman Dodd was born in New Jersey, he attended private schools, Andover, Massachusetts, and graduated from Yale University. He was, by his own words an indefatigable reader. He worked in manufacturing before devoting himself to banking according to himself. During or after the 1929 stock market crash he was assigned by his superiors the task of restructuring the bank he was working at, after a period of which he recommended what at the time was referred to as "sound banking". This led him first to be promoted but he later resigned on his own accord.

Dr Stan Monteith (born 1929) is a radio host and author.

Stan Monteith is a retired former orthopedic surgeon and is currently a radio host. He hosts Radio Liberty. He is also the author of several books and has published a number of videos and other recorded media.

His radio talk show is heard in over 50 radio stations across the United States and overseas.

Many of the issues that Monteith has addressed are to do with globalization and the New World Order not unlike the late New Zealand preacher and author Barry Smith who was addressing the same subjects from the 1980s up until his death in 2002.

Monteith has also been highly active in educating people about fluoride and what he sees are its dangers.

In March 2009, he was guest on the Alex Jones Show.

In 1988 Monteith ran for Congress as a Republican in California's 16th Congressional District, challenging incumbent Leon Panetta. Panetta was reelected with nearly 79 per cent of the vote. Prior to his run for Congress, Monteith was a longtime member of the John Birch Society, and had once headed the group's Santa Cruz County chapter. He was later a member of the Pat Robertson's Christian Coalition and the Coalition on Revival. In a 1994 piece on Christian Reconstructionism, Frederick Clarkson with Political Research Associates, cites Monteith, with Robertson, as "another example of Christian Right conspiracy theory."

Joshua James Butler (born December 11, 1984, in Auburn, California) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

Butler was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 2nd round of the 2006 amateur entry draft. He played his first professional season with their Class A (Short Season) Hudson Valley Renegades in 2006. Butler spent the 2007 season with the Class A Columbus Catfish and Class A-Advanced Vero Beach Devil Rays.

He began the 2008 season with Vero Beach, but was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers organization in exchange for outfielder Gabe Gross in late-April.

Upon arrival in the Brewers' farm system, he was assigned to the Class A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees. During the 2009 minor league season, he played for four teams in the organization: the Arizona League Brewers (Rookie league), Brevard County, Huntsville Stars (Double-A), and Nashville Sounds (Triple-A). On September 15, he was promoted from Huntsville to Milwaukee to fill the roster spot vacated when pitcher Mark DiFelice was placed on the 60-Day disabled list. He split the 2010 season between Nashville, Huntsville, and Brevard County. In December 2010, he was outrighted to Nashville.
