Facts about Paganism
Okay. now, i'm sorry it took so long to redo this...i've been really busy with school and all. I used different colors for the information, but they're the colors of the elements. white- Air Red- Fire light green- Earth Light blue- Water Hopefully now it is easier to Read. the information i used is from "Paganism an Introduction to Earth Centered Religions" by Joyce and River Higgenbotham. these are some basic facts, and some of the information depends on the individual or the traditions. it is not the same with everybody, and that's fine.

SHIT PEOPLE SAY TO: Pagans, Neopagans, Wiccans, Witches, etc.
A lot of these are examples from my personal life, and others are from my friends or people's stories I've read online. Because of this, I had to make it "SHIT PEOPLE SAY TO: Pagans, Neopagans, Wiccans, Witches, etc." because some of these things apply to Wiccans only while others are common to any pagan, and so on. I'm sure other groups get specific things said to them, too, but I only included what I know of. As I said, MANY of these were actually said to me or a friend. (I didn't even include "BURN THE WITCH!" which someone yelled at my friend.) Others are from blogs online where someone shared a story, and others are paraphrases, but all of these things have been said to someone in some way. Nothing except the last part was entirely made up. These are not what I THINK people say about these groups--these are what people have actually said. I am currently in a Stereotyping & Prejudice class, doing research on discrimination and prejudice against pagans, and I talk about ingroup and outgroup prejudice, so I included some of that here. In this video you hear mostly things said by NON-PAGANS, but there are some clips thrown in of things said by OTHER PAGANS. Discrimination comes from everywhere, and I wanted to show a bit of that here, instead of making it look like it's only non-pagans who say shit about us. We do it to each other, too. I am disabling ratings, but please feel free to share this video with others. Thank you very much for watching and for reading ...

Europe's last pagans
In ancient times, people of most ethnic groups used to pray like the Mari El pagans do to this day. These people are so loyal to their gods that their belief survived both the Christian expansion and the ban on all religions during Soviet times. Their ceremonies resemble scenes from Hogwarts, but their religious leader looks nothing like Alan Rickman. Meet Europe's last pagans on RTDoc. Source: RTД

LGBTQ Pagans #1: Gay Pagans & Hetero Male Pagans
The question came to me over a year ago, WHY are there so many gay pagans and why does everyone assume that a male pagan must be gay? These are my personal thoughts on the subject, not developed out of any in depth research like I've done recently with general pagan prejudice. I couldn't find actual statistics, but here are some pages I came across that are related: Journal of Homosexuality article on "experiences with Earth-Spirited Faith" www.tandfonline.com **I didn't want to sign up to download it, but even just the abstract gives a vague idea of the surface overlap between LGBTQ and Paganism. But as the next question I have to address brings up, not all aspects of paganism are exactly LGBTQ friendly all the time, and sometimes still leave those individuals feeling left out. Speaking of which, here is a Wikipedia article on LGBT issues and Wicca, specifically. It's Wikipedia, so always check the actual resources, but it might be some fun reading for anyone interested: en.wikipedia.org And this one goes more along with the next topic, but you can read up on Wicca/Druidry being gay-friendly with this person's blog post and comments thereupon: enfolding.org Blessings~ -C- My Etsy Shop cutewitch772.etsy.com

What is Paganism?
The quotes that I am reading in this video are from the British Museum, London, as are the photos shown, which I took on a recent visit. BLOG: oathboundsecrets.blogspot.com TWITTER twitter.com Quote from Wikipedia: Paganism (from Latin paganus, meaning "country dweller", "rustic") is a blanket term, typically used to refer to religious traditions which are polytheistic or indigenous. It is primarily used in a historical context, referring to Greco-Roman polytheism as well as the polytheistic traditions of Europe and North Africa before Christianization. In a wider sense, extended to contemporary religions, it includes most of the Eastern religions and the indigenous traditions of the Americas, Central Asia, Australia and Africa; as well as non-Abrahamic folk religion in general. More narrow definitions will not include any of the world religions and restrict the term to local or rural currents not organized as civil religions. Characteristic of Pagan traditions is the absence of proselytism and the presence of a living mythology, which informs religious practice. Ethnologists often avoid the term "paganism," with its uncertain and varied meanings, in referring to traditional or historic faiths, preferring more precise categories such as polytheism, shamanism, pantheism, or animism. In the late 20th century, "Paganism", or "Neopaganism", became widely used in reference to adherents of various New Religious Movements including Wicca. As such, various modern scholars have ...

London Olympic Stadium is a PAGAN ALTAR set up for OCCULT OPENING CEREMONY
***ANNOTATED ALTAR SPECIFICATIONS BEGIN AT RUNTIME 2:30.*** London is on fire with paganism, and the Olympic stadium is, literally, a functional altar for black magic. It bears uncanny resemblance to a drawing in the satanic, Voynich Manuscript, once possessed by Medieval Jesuits and now property of the Skull and Bones Society of Yale University. The altar is the stage for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games which takes place at 9:00 pm in London on July 27, 2012. The first scenes in my video are from the Diamond Jubilee celebrated in London in early 2012. I included this to highlight the prevalence of occult mysticism in the New World Order mentality, championed by the British Crown, which is the figurehead for the Freemasons worldwide. For extra emphasis, I also included the "wheel of fire" show from the New Years Eve fireworks of 2011-12. Another point worth mentioning is that the streets around the stadium all have Biblically significant names, and the site of the stadium is at the intersection of two Ley Lines, which are further concepts in occult mysticism. See the vids of Rik Clay (recently murdered) for more information about the occult significance of the London 2012 games which Rik began exposing back in 2009. www.youtube.com Note the revelation of the occult nature of the opening ceremony sheds new light on my previously posted picture of a cross in the stadium last year. I now believe that was a "consecration" to prepare the site for its religious ...
