Irchester Footbridge on the Midland Mainline, 16th August 2012. Class 222 'Meridians', Class 43 HST's, Class 66's and a Class 70 feature in the liveries of East Midlands Trains and Freightliner. Of note in this video; 'Meridians are seen being sent down the slow line northbound until the north fastline was cleared, Freightliner Class 66, No. 66621 heading north on the slow with an unknown empty Bardon hoppers working, Freightliner Class 66, No. 66620 heading north on the slow with the 6M92 West Thurrock - Earles LaFarge cement tanks working and Freightliner Class 70, No. 70015 heading south on the slow with the 6L87 Earles - West Thurruck cement working. *Filmed in the company of HST43049 (Colin) and thanks to atomiswave1971 (Richard) for the updates on the freights heading north.*

Since the moon was photographed from New Zealand: South is to the top, west to the right and east is left. The "rabbit" ears are pointing up, as they should for an alert bunny, sitting in the East. East is where the sun rises first on the moon. It is easy to get confused since Lunar East lies towards Earth's West... Oh well, don't worry about it! Lunar North and South point to Earth's North and South - at least that makes sense. The moon only lines up with South vertically above North when on the meridian (at its highest point in the sky, and even then it is not precise). Observant Northern visitors get confused, because in their Hemisphere Sun and Moon are South.

SUMMARY: "Sean King, A white second grader at Meridian Elementary school in Colorado Springs, Colorado, was taken out of class on Wednesday after wearing black face paint to look like Martin Luther King, Jr. Students in the class were taking part in a project called "wax museum day", for which they were asked to dress like a historical figure. Sean says that the costume was meant to honor Reverend King, and was not meant to be offensive. Sean parents knew about the project and helped their son with his costume. His mother, Michelle King-Roca told Denver's 7News, "As a parent I think it's pretty sad that you've got a principal and a faculty member that are acting the way they are when they should be setting an example for children." The initial complaint about the costume is said to have come from a faculty member."
