Ian Fleming's Casino Royale (1953) Pt1
This is the first ever screen adaption of a Bond novel, made in 1953 for US TV. The hero is played by Barry Nelson (changed to Jimmy Bond of the CIA) and the villain is played by Peter Lorre (better known for the successful 'Mr Moto' movies). Because of this adaption, when Eon productions bought the rights to Fleming's Bond 007 in the 1960s, the couldn't get Casino Royale as part of the deal. This led to the 1967 spoof version being made, starring Peter Sellers and David Niven. Many years later, Kevin McClory had obtained the rights to Casino Royale for Sony Pictures, and intended to make his own version of it separate from Eon. However, after a large lawsuit, the rights finally went to Eon as part of an out of court settlement in 2000. Finally, Eon were able to give the novel the full movie treatment in their own version, starring Daniel Craig, a few years later.

Around the World in 80 Days is a 1956 adventure film produced
by the Michael Todd Company and released by United Artists.
It was directed by Michael Anderson. It was produced by Michael
Todd, with Kevin McClory and William Cameron Menzies as associate
producers. The screenplay was written by James Poe, John Farrow
and S. J. Perelman based on the classic novel of the same name by Jules
Verne. The music score was composed by Victor Young, and the Todd-AO
70 mm cinematography was by Lionel Lindon. The film won multiple Academy
Awards, including Best Picture.
The movie boasts a huge cast, with David Niven and Mario Moreno
"Cantinflas" in the lead roles of Fogg and Passepartout. Fogg is the classic
Victorian gentleman, well-dressed, well-spoken, and extremely punctual,
whereas his servant Passepartout (who has an eye for the ladies) provides
much of the comic relief as a "jack of all trades" for the film in contrast to his
master's strict formality. Joining them are Shirley MacLaine as Princess Aouda
and Robert Newton as the detective Fix, in his last role.
The role of Passepartout was greatly expanded from the novel to accommodate
Cantinflas, the most famous Latin-American comedian at the time, and winds
up the focus of the film. While Passepartout describes himself as a Parisian
in the novel, this is unclear in the film—he has a French name, but speaks
Spanish when he and his master arrive in Spain by balloon. In the Spanish
version the name of his character was changed from the French Passepartout
to the Spanish "Juan Picatoste"[4]. There is also a comic bullfighting sequence
especially created for Cantinflas that is not in the novel. Indeed, when the film
was released in non-English speaking nations, Cantinflas was billed as the
lead. According to the guidebook describing the movie, this was done because
of an obstacle Todd faced in casting Cantinflas, who had never before
appeared in an American movie and had turned down countless offers
to do so. Todd allowed Cantinflas to appear in the film as a Latin, "so",
the actor said himself, "to my audience in Latin America, I'll still be Cantinflas".
Over 40 famous performers make cameo appearances, including Marlene
Dietrich, George Raft, and Frank Sinatra to name a few. The film was
significant as the first of the so-called Hollywood "make work" films,
employing dozens of faded film personalities. John Wayne turned down
Todd's offer for the role of the Colonel leading the Cavalry charge, a role
filled in by Tim McCoy. Promotional material released at the time quoted
a Screen Actors Guild representative looking at the shooting call sheet and
crying: "Good heaven's Todd, you've made extras out of all the stars in
Hollywood!" . As of Evelyn Keyes death in 2008, Shirley Maclaine and
Glynis Johns are the last surviving members of the whole entire cast.

007: NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN - PHYLLIS HYMAN
This fan made title sequence focuses on the concept of Connery -after 10 years -returns for the last time as 007. Thus highlights of Bond's past escapades is featured (like his whole life flashes before him --a play on the opening action sequence). This serves as a recap as well as an attempt to a connect NSNA with the previous Bond films. Of course in reality this direction is not feasible since not only this is a non-official version (not produced by Broccoli's EON Productions) but worse, this is actually just a remake of Thunderball! So for this title sequence I beg viewers to make believe that NSNA is a continuation instead of a remake. Originally I was suppose to use clips only from Sean Connery Bond films. But Blofeld's death scene from DAF was unclear and if there is any lacks the impact to to keep up with Hyman's high notes. So instead I have to use the scene from Roger Moore's FYEO. I also have to use an explosion sequence from "Licence to kill"for cinematic purposes. Also featured at the start is my earlier attempt to create a customized opening gunshot for NSNA (instead of gun barrel which NSNA producers cann't use). I based it in one of the actual chase scenes at NSNA. Not really happy with the result though cause of too much rotoscoping made it look flat and cartoonish. Sadly for those expecting the dancing muses, you may find my version disappointing since I didnot have the chance to inlude them. However you may wish to view an earlier work done by ...

Thunderball - Official Trailer [1965]
Thunderball (1965) is the fourth spy film in the James Bond series starring Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. It is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Ian Fleming, which in turn was based on an original screenplay by Jack Whittingham. It was directed by Terence Young with screenplay by Richard Maibaum and John Hopkins. The film follows Bond's mission to find two NATO atomic bombs stolen by SPECTRE, which holds the world ransom for £100 million in diamonds, in exchange for not destroying an unspecified major city in either England or the United States (later revealed to be Miami). The search leads Bond to the Bahamas, where he encounters Emilio Largo, the card-playing, eye-patch wearing SPECTRE Number Two. Backed by CIA agent Felix Leiter and Largo's mistress, Domino, Bond's search culminates in an underwater battle with Largo's henchmen. The film had a complex production, with four different units and about a quarter of the film consisting of underwater scenes.[1]Thunderball was the first Bond film shot in widescreen Panavision and the first to have over a two hour running time. Thunderball was associated with a legal dispute in 1961 when former Ian Fleming collaborators Kevin McClory and Jack Whittingham sued him shortly after the 1961 publication of the novel, claiming he based it upon the screenplay the trio had earlier written in a failed cinematic translation of James Bond. The lawsuit was settled out of court and Albert R. Broccoli and ...
