Valley Girls - short film
Little known but impressive short film set in Pontycymer Bridgend. It tells of a Welsh mam who wins a carpet-cleaning competition, the prize being a trip for two to Hollywood. She takes her neighbour - played in the film by Gemma Jones, fresh from her triumph as the mother in Emma Thompson's Sense and Sensibility. Her 45 year old son still lives at home and is constantly needing something (brilliantly played by the late Ray Gravell. The innocence of the Welsh Valleys compared to the insane and vaccuous USA is a joy to witness and helped by Rosanna Arquettes spot on acting. I will say though the film takes a dire dip in the last minute or so with a jump the shark rapping scene, otherwise its a forgotten and hidden must see gem.

Beached the Film
'Beached' tells the story of Paul and Angela who've been together for four years. Angela longs for Paul to pop the question but Paul doesn't believe in marriage. Angela thinks he doesn't believe in them and leaves him. In his drunken quest for solace, Paul starts a journey of self-discovery - with a little help from two shop mannequins and a talking panda - to try to overcome his fear of commitment. Will it be in time? Shot on location in Swansea in 2007 by Welsh director Hefin Rees and producer Ben Pickering, 'Beached' screened at the Cannes Short Film Corner and the Strasbourg International Film Festival. It features the final screen appearance of the late Welsh rugby legend Ray Gravell in a memorable cameo.

"West is Best" Pembrokeshire - Gower Peninsula Microlight Adventure
The term "West is Best" was much used by Scarlets', Lions' and Wales' rugby legend Ray Gravell to describe this wonderful part of Wales - my hope is that this short film potrays it. This film starts with a departure and climb out in a Quik 912s weight shift microlight from the first green at Rosemarket golf club, Pembrokeshire before crossing the impressive River Cleddau and its tributaries - and heading east at 1'500 feet and some fun over Oakwood theme park and the Blue Lagoon at Bluestone. Due to the bumby ride - a climb up to 7'000 feet for some wonderful views of West Wales including the sands at Pendine, before crossing Carmarthen Bay and skimming above the tops of the clouds in perfect air - it was magical!. Carmarthen Bay Airspace is controlled by RAF Pembrey Sands Air Weapons Range (D117) and used primarily as an air-to-ground bombing and strafing practice area, but due to the range being "cold" of activity I was granted permission to cross. I descended over the town of Burry Port aside the Loughor Estuary, before crossing the narrow stretch of water to the Gower Peninsula, for a wide left base and touchdown on runway 04 at Swansea. The 40 min flight is edited to the track "Higher State" by Toploader. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Welshmen Born And Bred (Millennium Edition)
Welsh Rugby, This is a shorter version of the original song "Welshmen Born And Bred". Formulated with welsh rugby supporters in mind, giving them a fresh original song of their own to sing at the Millennium Stadium. Lyrics written deliberately to make the hair at the back of your neck stand up and drive home to all players they are playing for Wales. Lets hear you fans raise the roof at the stadium, And you can!!!!! ************************** Ray Gravell, Max Boyce, Katherine Jenkins, Charlotte Church, Tom Jones, Joe Calzaghe, Sterophonics, PoorSods, Bryn Terfel, Duffy, Manic Street Preachers, Tani Grey Thompson, Colin Jackson, Anthony Hopkins, Choirs,
