Official iPhone 5 Trailer
iPhone 5 by Apple The biggest thing to happen to iPhone since iPhone. Creating an entirely new design meant inventing entirely new technology When we envisioned the new iPhone, we landed on a remarkably thin and light design. But it's nearly impossible to make a device so thin and so light without sacrificing features or performance. We could have taken the easy way out and designed something more reasonable and less remarkable. But we didn't. If the technology didn't exist, we invented it. If a component wasn't small enough, we re-imagined it. If convention was standing in the way, we left it behind. The result is iPhone 5: the thinnest, lightest, fastest iPhone ever. iPhone 5 is just 7.6 millimeters thin. To make that happen, Apple engineers had to think small, component by component. They created a nano-SIM card, which is 44 percent smaller than a micro-SIM. They also developed a unique cellular solution for iPhone 5. The conventional approach to building LTE into a world phone uses two chips — one for voice, one for data. On iPhone 5, both are on a single chip. The intelligent, reversible Lightning connector is 80 percent smaller than the 30-pin connector. The 8MP iSight camera has even more features — like panorama and dynamic low-light mode — yet it's 20 percent smaller. And the new A6 chip is up to 2x faster than the A5 chip but 22 percent smaller. Even with so much inside, iPhone 5 is 20 percent lighter and 18 percent thinner than iPhone 4S. It`s our thinnest ...

The music used is a public domain midi file from archive.org, titled musicbox. www.archive.org I made this film for the 2007 edition of the 72 Hour Film Fest in Frederick, MD. These scenes come from a reel of 35mm nitrate that was discovered in the projection booth of an old movie theater in Pennsylvania. The projectionist spliced together this reel of banned, censored scenes to meet local moral standards or for late night, "personal" screenings. This is a true reel of Cinema Paradisio.

CALIFORNIA GIRLS The Beach Boys MM images
The Top hit of 1965 by The Beach Boys, and images of Hollywood Legend Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn knew how to project the joy of living, and happiness. She liked the professional touch, and worked with the best photographers . Her photos are everywhere. She had a zest for life... Selected quotes from Lee Strasberg´s eulogy, August 1962: "Marilyn Monroe was a legend. In her own lifetime she created a myth of what a poor girl from a deprived background could attain. For the entire world she became a symbol of the eternal feminine." "Others were as physically beautiful as she was, but there was obviously something more in her, something that people saw and recognized in her performances and with which they identified. She had a luminous quality - a combination of wistfulness, radiance, yearning - to set her apart and yet make everyone wish to be a part of it, to share in the childish naivete which was so shy and yet so vibrant.". Song: CALIFORNIA GIRLS The Beach Boys, vocal Music and Lyrics: Brian Wilson and Mike Love From the Lp: Summer Days ( and Summer Nights) (1965) Images of Marilyn Monroe by the following photographers: Ed Feingersh Cecil Beaton Sam Shaw Andre' de Dienes Joseph Jasgur Peter Mangone ( 14 yrs. old in 1955) Milton H. Haunting Images from the Sun
Watch this and other space videos at SpaceRip.com April 21, 2011 marks the one-year anniversary of the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) First Light press conference, where NASA revealed the first images taken by the spacecraft. In the last year, the sun has gone from its quietest period in years to the activity marking the beginning of solar cycle 24. SDO has captured every moment with a level of detail never-before possible. The mission has returned unprecedented images of solar flares, eruptions of prominences, and the early stages of coronal mass ejections (CMEs). In this video are some of the most beautiful, interesting, and mesmerizing events seen by SDO during its first year. In the order they appear in the video the events are 1. Prominence Eruption from AIA in 304 Angstroms on March 30, 2010. 2. Cusp Flow from AIA in 171 Angstroms on February 14, 2011. 3. Prominence Eruption from AIA in 304 Angstroms on February 25, 2011. 4. All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.

Midnight Sun | Iceland
BEST VIEWED IN HD AND FULLSCREEN (with scaling off)
Midnight Sun: A natural phenomenon occurring in the summer months north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle where the sun never fully sets and remains visible 24 hours a day.
This short time lapse film was shot during the Icelandic Midnight Sun in June of 2011.
For 17 days I travelled solo around the entire island shooting almost 24 hours, sleeping in the car, and eating whenever I had the time. During my days shooting this film I shot 38,000 images, travelled some 2900 miles, and saw some of the most amazing, beautiful, and indescribable landscapes on the planet. Iceland is absolutely one of the most beautiful and unusual places you could ever imagine. Especially during the Midnight Sun when the quality of light hitting the landscape is very unusual, and very spectacular.
Iceland is a landscape photographers paradise and playground, and should be number 1 on every photographers must visit list. Iceland during the Midnight Sun is in sort of a permanent state of sunset. The sun never full sets and travels horizontally across the horizon throughout the night, as can be seen in the opening shot and at the :51 second mark in the video.
During the Arctic summer, sunset was at midnight and sunrise was at 3am. The Arctic summer sun provided 24 hours a day of light, with as much as 6 hours daily of "Golden light". Once the sun had set it wouldn't even get dark enough for the stars to come out, and they don't start to reappear until August.
My advice to everyone out there, photographer or not, is simple... You MUST visit Iceland sometime during your lifetime. You will never regret it.

Hubble Deep Field: The Most Imp. Image Ever Taken (Redux)
This is the latest incarnation of the HDF video. The narration has been edited to include research from a paper in Physical Review Letters (2004) which puts the size of the universe at 46.5 billion light years, not 78 billion as I originally stated. In the video narration, I round that value up to 47 billion light years. I also took out Numa Numa guy.

ADELE portrait by RED (Hong Yi)
What inspired me? I'm doing a 4 part project involving the 4 basic elements: fire, water, wind and earth. So for FIRE, I chose to do ADELE's portrait...Her song 'Set Fire to the Rain' inspired me to use candles and fire as my painting materials...but why? To me, ADELE was probably singing about the pain of a lost relationship. Rain may be a metaphor for her tears she cried, and she is setting fire to it to burn and destroy her pain. I've used blue candles to represent tears, and by setting fire to them, they melt and flow into each other - "Watched it pour as I touched your face..." - and they form a portrait of ADELE. --- MORE PHOTOS AND BLOG POST ABOUT ART HERE: www.ohiseered.com OFFICIAL WEBSITE www.redhongyi.com OFFICIAL FACEBOOK http OFFICIAL TWITTER www.twitter.com --- Cover of Adele's Set Fire to the Rain by the talented Sara Niemietz...check out her channel! youtu.be BIG THANKS to Sarah Chen's production team for the video, and Hinok Cai for editting it! :) Video shot at HASSELL, the architecture company I work for. www.hassellstudio.com
