Vettel won the 2011 Malaysian Grand Prix. After the postponement of the Bahrain Grand Prix, Vettel started his title defense in style in the Australian Grand Prix with pole position and a victory of 22 seconds over title rival Lewis Hamilton, who was nursing home his broken McLaren.
