Rukka builds all of their products to meet their strict standards of Defense and Comfort. The Airway uses a unique material called Cordura AFT in the construction of the outer shell. Cordura AFT differs from Cordura by being a knit fabric not a woven fabric, making it a perfect choice for warm weather riding. The knit structure of the AFT allows for a greater amount of air to flow through the jacket without sacrificing abrasion resistance. No big panels of mesh, no vents to open, just a bomb-proof outer shell made fully of AFT. The armor used in the Airway jacket is Rukka's proprietary RVP Air that is the most breathable CE rated armor on the market and offers great coverage over the shoulders, elbows and back. The inner jacket stands on its own in terms of technology and function. The Gore-Tex 3-Layer Performance Shell offers breathable, waterproof protection and uses a Lockout zipper for it's main closure. The interior is finished with a soft flannel that feels nice against the skin and the neoprene collar is comfortable against the neck. A neodymium magnet at the neck is easily adjustable and eliminates the need for velcro that might chafe the neck. Timelapse of Flight 1549 Being Pulled out of the Hudson
Exclusive unseen time lapse video footage of the Miracle on the Hudson, US Airways flight 1549 as it is struggling to stay afloat and avoid the barrage of an ice attack. An unsung hero was the Airbus A320 which survived a crash landing, sinking and safely contained 155 Humans.
I shot these clips from a cheap compact Canon camera. The plane came to a strop outside my apartment here in NYC. Most of the footage on TV from CNN, NY Post, NBC and ABC was filmed from my apartment over those 3 days.
I seem to be the only one that captured the lift in time-lapse, i just regret I didnt have my Canon 5d Mark ii back then.

This video chronicles the final race on the calendar for TRG and the American Le Mans Series; Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA. A grueling 10 hour or 1,000 mile, whichever comes first, endurance race.
The team is one of the winningest sportscar teams in American racing history, running Porsche 911's in ALMS and Grand-Am. The team also has a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team. This year, after winning the 49th annual Rolex 24 at Daytona, they aimed to secure their first ever ALMS Championship, but it came down to the wire.

'Cymatic Frequencies' an Audio Visual mix by DK
The Solid Steel radio show regularly features AV mixes alongside the audio and this week DK gives you another treat for eyes as well as your ears with his full on Audio Visual mix 'Cymatic Frequencies'.
It's packed full of musical highlights from 2010, Ninja Tune & Big Dada XX celebrations and of course the odd classic thrown in for good measure, all with added visuals (most of them created for each track). No other radio show regularly gives you this 'visual version of a mixtape'
We start where we ended the last AV mix with the anthemic 'Hyph Mngo' by Joy Orbison and a few choice words from Sun Ra. We continue in a future vein with the Eliphino Remix for Kidkanevil, Maddslinky given a Toddla T lick, and the heavy 'Work them' by Ramadanman.
Then it's a Ninja Tune trio and a Big Dada double, James Blake floating over the Altrice remix of Caribou, before turning up the bass to 11 for Bassnectar. The beats stay heavy as we skip through George Lenton and the Jamie XX remix of Gil Scott-Heron, an 'old skool hip hop' trio, mixed with RackNRuin and Vent for extra dance floor punch, and it's a D n B finish with the DJ Marky remix of 'Wile Out' by Zinc, Sunny by James Brown tweaked by Featurecast and we end on the sublime Flying Lotus remix for Andreya Triana.
