You can see when the arty player aims that he switches to an alternate SPG view, allowing him an easier targeting. I don't know the name of this mod/hack (no moral questions here please) and googling did no good. So, if you do have intel about it, or even tried it yourself, please give me feedback. :) You can skip the end, it's uninteresting and I don't have any video editor handy. This battle was indeed tough. The very beginning shows what can happen if I'm unlucky, even if they're only taking a small amount of health, it adds up(now I know how bosses feel and the need for a good 'breakout' mechanic). I managed to do it w/o dmg/crit mods from the Grade shop, but it took a lot longer, about 23 mins. I didn't want it to be that long, so I redid it with GS options in a bit less than half the time w/no First Aid usage to boot(thanks to various skills). Anyway, the first part is just how I went through to get to the Chimeriad. Yes, items were used to speed up the process a bit, so conditions like no items or no death held no concern. Only difference is I didn't let my allies get killed off by the last Giganto, and killed him normally. They denied me my MA twice =0(. For the Chimeriad, I didn't aim for anyone in particular, which would be more efficient, but that's just how I like to play I guess (=_=). I did try to kill the extra Fire Djinn when it was summoned for the HP gain, as well as try to stop excessive casting from the girls. With no elemental absorption, I had to play a more defensive style, which mostly consisted of letting them come to me, poking with Rabid Lunge, and just freestyling from there. Unfortunately, there was just too much going on for me to be "precise" with my actions, so the battle looks a bit on the sloppy side, particularly at the end, but I think I can live with this =03. Story: Planet Ra Ciela... Humans and a spiritual life-form known as "Genoms" co-existed on this planet in the past. It has been a long time since the land lost its beautiful lush greenery. The people left Ra Ciela in search of a new planet to call home, and huddled in front of the ever-closed "Barrier of Felion" that was believed to be the Shield of the Gods. To this day, they still live quiet lives on a geofront they named Orei. Orei has no circadian rhythm, no sunrise or sunset, and no change in seasons, but the people became accustomed to this unnatural way of life. They persevered, and began to thrive. From the rubble that accumulated over the years from deteriorating infastructure, the people made small houses. From the metal grounds grew no trees, so the people used techniques that were once lost to replace them with fields whilst continuing to dream. However, the people's lives were not peaceful. An unknown race of creatures called the Sharl appeared and began kidnapping the people of Orei. The people were powerless against the Sharl's mysterious power known as "Song Magic." This continued until a day when the Barrier of Felion, which had never so much as cracked for over a thousand years, did the unimaginable and opened. The people on the other side, humans known as "Ancients," had knowledge of the same Song Magic that the Sharl were using. The people of Orei were welcomed into Felion, and there they and the Ancients lived together while they tried to find the truth about the emergence of the Sharl. The story of the game is told through the viewpoints of two character pairs: Casty and Delta, Earthes and Ion. Initially, Casty and Delta are tasked to find out a song called Ciel N Protecta that their friend Sarly developed, but it was stolen and it supposedly has begun causing the machines in Felion to go haywire. During their searches for it, they are captured by the Genomirai Church led by Zir, and as they try to escape from them, they discover Zir is planning to set up and sing a very dangerous kind of Song Magic. On the other hand, Ion is trapped in the sealed world through which the player interacted with her in "Ciel nosurge", and having Earthes as her helper, she decides to escape from it. After escaping from the sealed world, they both reach the city of Tenryosara, where they meet with Tattoria and Kanon. And from there, both pairs continue their journey in search of the truth about this world.

Players fight for either the Trans-System Federations (TSF) Space Marines or the Alien species known as the “Kharaa”, with both sides having a completely different set of lifeforms and abilities. The marines rely heavily on an array of high-tech ranged weaponry and mechanised armor, while the aliens rely on stealth, speed and strength. Additionally, aliens can evolve from a small but nimble and dangerous creature into one of five life-forms with unique abilities. NS2: Combat features intense two asymmetric teams in a fast-paced fight for survival, implemented using the beautiful Spark engine. How many maps will come with NS2: Combat? Currently, Natural Selection 2: Combat will ship with its original core game mode which has the simple objective of destroying the other team’s main structure called the Command Station for the Marines, and the Hive for the Aliens. Combat will ship with one additional game mode, Capture The Point, where teams will fight over control of three locations on the map, earning points until one team reaches the point limit and wins the game. We have other gameplay types that we’d like to include with Combat , but our focus remains on Combat’s core gameplay and Capture The Point mode.

*Let's Play Firaxis' XCOM Enemy Unknown (2012) in HD* The aliens are back. XCOM is back. Modern times, a modern game. So, obviously, there's a lot wrong with it. But I will only rant about that in this one vid description, because once you've chosen to accept these quirks, you get a very good game. OK then, bear with me while I let off some steam. Let's start right there: This game uses a glorified spyware for copy/piracy protection. Luckily, once activated, you don't need a internet connection to play. Which is good. Like sending someone flowers after stealing his car. OK, ok, you get it: I don't like Steam. Let's leave it at that. Many of the original game elements are either gone or simplified to almost non-existence: No base defense, only one base, no time units (instead only two actions per turn), no free aim (you can't shoot walls etc.), no inventory, (almost) no looting of alien artifacts, unlimited ammo, small squads, lame air combat, totally linear research 'tree' and a buggy UI. BUT It's great fun! Despite this simplified battle system, the developers managed to create tough and challenging encounters. There's always a ton of action, no periods of "nothing's happening". The graphics and cut-scenes are looking quite nice, although, at times, ridiculously overdramatic. Most importantly, it's addictive - which, in my view, is the biggest compliment for any game. XCOM (2012) may be a remake, but in fact, it's a totally different game. It's not "X-COM", it's "XCOM". It can't replace the original, it stands for itself. Which is a good thing. I don't think it'll become a timeless classic like the original, but, to be fair, that would've been too much to expect. Despite its flaws, it *is* a great game. And now we're gonna play it! ;-)

Generally, a battle is a conceptual component in the hierarchy of combat in warfare between two or more armed forces, or combatants. In a battle, each combatant will seek to defeat the others, with defeat determined by the conditions of a military campaign. Battles generally are well defined in duration, area and force commitment.
Wars and military campaigns are guided by strategy, whereas battles take place on a level of planning and execution known as operational mobility. German strategist Carl von Clausewitz stated that "the employment of battles ... to achieve the object of war" was the essence of strategy.
The definition of a battle cannot be arrived at solely through the names of historical battles, many of which are misnomers. The word battle is a loanword in English from the Old French bataille, first attested in 1297, from Late Latin battualia, meaning "exercise of soldiers and gladiators in fighting and fencing", from Late Latin (taken from Germanic) battuere "beat", from which the English word battery is also derived via Middle English batri, and comes from the staged battles in the Colosseum in Rome that may have numbered 10,000 individuals.
