MEHRGARH ( BALOCHISTAN ): WORLD'S OLDEST CITY 7000 BC
MEHRGARH; WORLD'S OLDEST CITY 7000 BC The oldest known civilization? Surely an exaggeration! Not so: the oldest excavated parts of Mehrgarh (which admittedly does not represent the High Summer of the Indus civilization but its long-lasting early Spring) have been dated to around 9000 years before the present. By comparison, the earliest Egyptian pharaoh known by name, Nar'mer, is thought to have ruled in ancient Egypt around 5100 years before the present. Mehrgarh was discovered and excavations begun by a French team led by Jean-François Jarrige; the site was excavated continuously between 1974 and 1986. Very few of us know about Mehrgarh near Bolan Pass Quetta - Balochistan. Mehrgarh is probably the oldest site with distinct proofs that it existed in 7OOO BC and lived on farming of barley ,maize, wheat and dates . They also raised cattle. For over 9000 years, the city Mehrgarh one of the oldest, structured settlements ever discovered, the people who lived in Mehrgarh lived in the homes of the first stone in the world, increased barley first and worked the first goat and sheep. Mehrgarh historically marked the beginning of "Stone Age", otherwise known as the New Stone Age, "a very important step in our common history, marking the beginning of organized society. As excavations progress was more evidence, it seems, a big Mehgarh certification planned urban environment existed for thousands of years. Mehrgarh was equipped with a water supply, sanitation, markets, shops ...

A potter of Bangladesh never potters
Pottery is made by forming a clay body into objects of a requred shape and heating them to a high temperature in a klin to induce reaction that lead to permanent change including increasing strength and hardening and setting their shape. Prior to shaping process air trapped within the clay body needs to be removed. In rural Bangladesh it is done manually by wedging. A potter's wheel is used to make specific shape of the wedged clay. A ball of clay is placed in the center of a turntable called wheel-headwhich the potter rotates with a stick with foot or hand power. The wheel rotates rapidly while the solid ball of soft clay is pressed, squeezed and pulled gently upward and outward into a hollow shape. Considerable skill and experience are required to throw pots of an acceptable standard. Prepared shapes are decorated, glazed and fired in a klin. As per history the pottery production started during the period 5000-4500 BCE. The potters-wheel was invented in Mesopotamia in between 6000-4000 BCE. Pottery was in use in ancient India during the Mehrgarh Period (5500-4800 BCE ). Once upon a time pottery in Bangladesh was very much rich. But those time have passed away. Industrialization replaced the golden time of the potters. Even that some potters are found across the country busy with this profession. A potter of Bangladesh never potters rather he works hard for his earning.

Mehrgarh (The City of Love) is one of the most important neolithic (7000 BCE to c. 2500 BCE) archeological sites. It lies on what is today the province of Balochistan, in Pakistan. This is a very basic claymation inspired by deity figurines found after archeological excavation at Mehrgarh, representative of a lost time, their sacred relevance evolved into what the local community considers sacred today.
